Kadede Kap (Pohnpeian New Testament and Psalms)
JPS Tanakh (Jewish Publication Society, 1917)
1DANKE leowa, pwe i me man, pwe a kala n an pan potopot eta.
1'O give thanks unto the LORD, for He is good, for His mercy endureth for ever.'
2Ijrael en indinda: A kala n an pan potopot eta.
2So let Israel now say, for His mercy endureth for ever,
3Kadaudok en Aron en indinda: A kala n an pan potopot eta.
3So let the house of Aaron now say, for His mercy endureth for ever.
4Me majak Kot akan en inda: A kala n an pan potopot eta.
4So let them now that fear the LORD say, for His mercy endureth for ever.
5Ni ai apwal akan i likwir wo n leowa; leowa kotin ma n i ia er o kotin kajo n e ia dier waja jaledok.
5Out of my straits I called upon the LORD; He answered me with great enlargement.
6leowa kin kotin ieian ia, i jota majak, da me aramaj akan kak wiai o n ia?
6The LORD is for me; I will not fear; what can man do unto me?
7Ieowa kin kotin ieia n ia nan pu n en me jauaja ia, o i pan peren kida, me kailo n kin ia.
7The LORD is for me as my helper; and I shall gaze upon them that hate me.
8Me mau, en liki Ieowa, ja n kaporoporeki aramaj akan.
8It is better to take refuge in the LORD than to trust in man.
9Me mau en liki Ieowa, ja n kaporoporeki jaupeidi kan.
9It is better to take refuge in the LORD than to trust in princes.
10Men liki kan karoj kapil ia penaer; a ni mar en Ieowa i kaloe ir edier.
10All nations compass me about; verily, in the name of the LORD I will cut them off.
11Re kapil ia penaer waja karoj, a ni mar en Ieowa i pan kaloe irail edier.
11They compass me about, yea, they compass me about; verily, in the name of the LORD I will cut them off.
12Re kapil ia penaer dueta lo n lap akan, a re kunlar dueta kinjiniai nan tuka; ni mar en Ieowa i kaloe irail edier.
12They compass me about like bees; they are quenched as the fire of thorns; verily, in the name of the LORD I will cut them off.
13Re woki ia, pwe i ne pupedi, a Ieowa kotin jauaja iaer.
13Thou didst thrust sore at me that I might fall; but the LORD helped me.
14Ieowa iei ai kel o ai kaul, o i me kotin wiala ai jaunkamaur.
14The LORD is my strength and song; and He is become my salvation.
15Kaul en kaperen o kamaur kin wiaui nan im en me pu n kan, lim en Ieowa pali maun kin kapwaiada dodok manaman.
15The voice of rejoicing and salvation is in the tents of the righteous; the right hand of the LORD doeth valiantly.
16Pali maun en Ieowa me ileile, pali maun en Ieowa kin kapwaiada dodok manaman.
16The right hand of the LORD is exalted; the right hand of the LORD doeth valiantly.
17I jota pan mela, pwe memaur eta o padaki duen wiawian Ieowa.
17I shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the LORD.
18Ieowa kotin kaloke ia laud, ap jota meuid o n , i en mela.
18The LORD hath chastened me sore; but He hath not given me over unto death.
19Komail riti n ada n ia wanim en pu n , pwe i waja me i pan pedelo n ia, pwen danke Ieowa.
19Open to me the gates of righteousness; I will enter into them, I will give thanks unto the LORD.
20Iet wanim en Ieowa, waja me pu n kan pan pedelo n ia.
20This is the gate of the LORD; the righteous shall enter into it.
21I danke komui, pwe kom kotin erekier ai kapakap o jauaja ia.
21I will give thanks unto Thee, for Thou hast answered me, and art become my salvation.
22Takai o me pwin jauje kajelar, wialar takain pukakaim.
22The stone which the builders rejected is become the chief corner-stone.
23Mepukat wiauier ia n ro n Ieowa, meid kapuriamui ni maj at!
23This is the LORD'S doing; it is marvellous in our eyes.
24let ran o, me Ieowa kotin wiadar, kitail en popol o peren kida i.
24This is the day which the LORD hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.
25O Mai n Ieowa, kom kotin jauaja! O Mai n Ieowa, kom kotin kapwaiada!
25We beseech Thee, O LORD, save now! We beseech Thee, O LORD, make us now to prosper!
26Meid kapi n an me kotido ni mar en Ieowa! Kit kapai komail da, me kijan toun tanpaj en Ieowa.
26Blessed be he that cometh in the name of the LORD; we bless you out of the house of the LORD.
27Ieowa iei Kot, o i me kotin kamarain kitail er; jaliedi men mairo n ni oj en pei jaraui!
27The LORD is God, and hath given us light; order the festival procession with boughs, even unto the horns of the altar.
28Komui ai Kot, o i pan danke komui; ai Kot, i pan kalina n ada komui.
28Thou art my God, and I will give thanks unto Thee; Thou art my God, I will exalt Thee.
29Danke Ieowa, pwe i me mau, pwe a kala n an pan potopot eta.
29O give thanks unto the LORD, for He is good, for His mercy endureth for ever.
