Kadede Kap (Pohnpeian New Testament and Psalms)
JPS Tanakh (Jewish Publication Society, 1917)
1MEID pai, me dip arail lap wadar, o me ar japu n pwaipwaidier!
1A Psalm of David. Maschil. Happy is he whose transgression is forgiven, whose sin is pardoned.
2Aramaj meid pai, me Ieowa jolar pan kapokoki o n dip ar, me jota likam nan mo n io n ar.
2Happy is the man unto whom the LORD counteth not iniquity, and in whose spirit there is no guile.
3Pwe ni ai men okila, kokon ai kan ap jujueda kilar ai janojan ran karoj.
3When I kept silence, my bones wore away through my groaning all the day long.
4Pwe lim omui katoutou ia nin ran o ni po n , o ai kelail mo n edier, dueta ni anjau o n karakar.
4For day and night Thy hand was heavy upon me; my sap was turned as in the droughts of summer. Selah
5I me i weokada n komui dip ai kan, o jota okila ai japu n kan. N ai indinda: I pan weokada n Ieowa ai katiwo kan, komui ap kotin maki o n la jued en dip ai.
5I acknowledged my sin unto Thee, and mine iniquity have I not hid; I said: 'I will make confession concerning my transgressions unto the LORD' — and Thou, Thou forgavest the iniquity of my sin. Selah
6I me jaraui kan karoj pan potoan kapakap o n komui arain anjau me komui kak diarokda Lapake kalaimun pan wiaui a jota pan lel o n ir.
6For this let every one that is godly pray unto Thee in a time when Thou mayest be found; surely, when the great waters overflow, they will not reach unto him.
7Komui me pere pa i, kom pur kotin perawei ja n ia men kamajak, i ap pan dorela o kapi n a ni peren.
7Thou art my hiding-place; Thou wilt preserve me from the adversary; with songs of deliverance Thou wilt compass me about. Selah
8I pan padaki o n uk o kajale o n uk al o, me koe en weweid ia; I pan kalua kin uk por en maj ai.
8'I will instruct thee and teach thee in the way which thou shalt go; I will give counsel, Mine eye being upon thee.'
9Komail der dueta oj de aj amen me jota ar madamadaua, me mau o n , kijin mata en ko o n au arail, a ma jo, re jota pan duki o n uk.
9Be ye not as the horse, or as the mule, which have no understanding; whose mouth must be held in with bit and bridle, that they come not near unto thee.
10Me japu n o kin lodi o n jo n en madak to to, a me kaporoporeki Ieowa, kala n an en Ieowa pan kapil pena i.
10Many are the sorrows of the wicked; but he that trusteth in the LORD, mercy compasseth him about.
11Polauleki Ieowa, o pereperen komail me pu n kan, o kapikapi n a komail karoj me lelapok melel akan.
11Be glad in the LORD, and rejoice, ye righteous; and shout for joy, all ye that are upright in heart.
