JPS Tanakh (Jewish Publication Society, 1917)
1MEID pai ol o, me jota alialu ni padak en me doo ja n Kot akan o me jo duki o n me dipan akan, o me jo mondi ren me malaun akan,
1BOOK I HAPPY IS the man that hath not walked in the counsel of the wicked, nor stood in the way of sinners, nor sat in the seat of the scornful.
2A me kin peren kida kapu n en leowa o madamadaua duen a kapu n ni ran o ni po n !
2But his delight is in the law of the LORD; and in His law doth he meditate day and night.
3A rajo n tuka pot, me padedier ni kailan pilap akan me kin kapareda wa ni a anjau, o ta kan jota kin mo n ala, a karoj a wiawia pwaida.
3And he shall be like a tree planted by streams of water, that bringeth forth its fruit in its season, and whose leaf doth not wither; and in whatsoever he doeth he shall prosper.
4Me doo ja n Kot akan jota kin dueta, a re rajo n dip me an kin iririp jili.
4Not so the wicked; but they are like the chaff which the wind driveth away.
5I me doo ja n Kot akan jota pan pwai kida nan kadeik, o me dipan akan nan momod en me pu n kan.
5Therefore the wicked shall not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous.
6Pwe leowa kotin ma n i al en me pu n kan; a al en ir, me doo ja n Kot akan, pan joredi.
6For the LORD regardeth the way of the righteous; but the way of the wicked shall perish.
