1Halelujah. Chvalte služebníci Hospodinovi, chvalte jméno Hospodinovo.
1Hallelujah. Praise, O ye servants of the LORD, praise the name of the LORD.
2Budiž jméno Hospodinovo požehnáno od tohoto času až na věky.
2Blessed be the name of the LORD from this time forth and for ever.
3Od východu slunce až do západu jeho chváleno buď jméno Hospodinovo.
3From the rising of the sun unto the going down thereof the LORD'S name is to be praised.
4Vyvýšenť jest nade všecky národy Hospodin, a nad nebesa sláva jeho.
4The LORD is high above all nations, His glory is above the heavens.
5Kdo jest rovný Hospodinu Bohu našemu, kterýž vysoko bydlí?
5Who is like unto the LORD our God, that is enthroned on high,
6Kterýž snižuje se, aby všecko spatřoval, což jest na nebi i na zemi.
6That looketh down low upon heaven and upon the earth?
7Vyzdvihuje z prachu nuzného, a z hnoje vyvyšuje chudého,
7Who raiseth up the poor out of the dust, and lifteth up the needy out of the dunghill;
8Aby jej posadil s knížaty, s knížaty lidu svého.
8That He may set him with princes, even with the princes of His people.
9Kterýž vzdělává neplodnou v čeled, a matku veselící se z dítek. Halelujah.
9Who maketh the barren woman to dwell in her house as a joyful mother of children. Hallelujah.
