1Žalm Davidův. Vzdejte Hospodinu, velikomocní, vzdejte Hospodinu čest a sílu.
1A Psalm of David. Ascribe unto the LORD, O ye sons of might, ascribe unto the LORD glory and strength.
2Vzdejte Hospodinu slávu jména jeho, sklánějte se Hospodinu v ozdobě svatosti.
2Ascribe unto the LORD the glory due unto His name; worship the LORD in the beauty of holiness.
3Hlas Hospodinův nad vodami, Bůh silný slávy hřímání vzbuzuje, Hospodin to činí nad vodami mnohými.
3The voice of the LORD is upon the waters; the God of glory thundereth, even the LORD upon many waters.
4Hlas Hospodinův přichází s mocí, hlas Hospodinův s velebností.
4The voice of the LORD is powerful; the voice of the LORD is full of majesty.
5Hlas Hospodinův láme cedry, rozrážíť Hospodin cedry Libánské.
5The voice of the LORD breaketh the cedars; yea, the LORD breaketh in pieces the cedars of Lebanon.
6A činí, aby skákali jako telata, Libán a Sirion, jako mladý jednorožec.
6He maketh them also to skip like a calf; Lebanon and Sirion like a young wild-ox.
7Hlas Hospodinův rozkřesává plamen ohně.
7The voice of the LORD heweth out flames of fire.
8Hlas Hospodinův k bolesti přivodí poušť, k bolesti přivodí Hospodin poušť Kádes.
8The voice of the LORD shaketh the wilderness; the LORD shaketh the wilderness of Kadesh.
9Hlas Hospodinův to činí, že laně plodu pozbývají, obnažuje i lesy, ale v chrámě svém všecku svou slávu vypravuje.
9The voice of the LORD maketh the hinds to calve, and strippeth the forests bare; and in His temple all say: 'Glory.'
10Hospodin nad potopou seděl, a budeť seděti Hospodin, jsa králem i na věky.
10The LORD sat enthroned at the flood; yea, the LORD sitteth as King for ever.
11Hospodin silou lid svůj daří, Hospodin požehná lidu svému v pokoji.
11The LORD will give strength unto His people; the LORD will bless his people with peace.
