1V tebeť, Hospodine, doufám, nechť nejsem zahanben na věky.
1In Thee, O LORD, have I taken refuge; let me never be ashamed.
2Vedlé spravedlnosti své vytrhni mne, a vyprosť mne; nakloň ke mně ucha svého, a spas mne.
2Deliver me in Thy righteousness, and rescue me; incline Thine ear unto me, and save me.
3Budiž mi skalou obydlí, na niž bych ustavičně utíkal; přikázal jsi ostříhati mne, nebo skála má i pevnost má ty jsi.
3Be Thou to me a sheltering rock, whereunto I may continually resort, which Thou hast appointed to save me; for Thou art my rock and my fortress.
4Bože můj, vytrhni mne z ruky bezbožníka, z ruky převráceného a násilníka.
4O my God, rescue me out of the hand of the wicked, out of the grasp of the unrighteous and ruthless man.
5Nebo ty jsi má naděje, Pane; Hospodine, v tebeť doufám od své mladosti.
5For Thou art my hope; O Lord GOD, my trust from my youth.
6Na tebe jsem zpolehl hned od života, z břicha matky mé ty jsi mne vyvedl, v tobě jest chvála má vždycky.
6Upon Thee have I stayed myself from birth; Thou art He that took me out of my mother's womb; my praise is continually of Thee.
7Jako zázrak byl jsem mnohým, a však ty jsi mé silné doufání.
7I am as a wonder unto many; but Thou art my strong refuge.
8Ó ať jsou naplněna ústa má chválením tebe, přes celý den slavením tebe.
8My mouth shall be filled with Thy praise, and with Thy glory all the day.
9Nezamítejž mne v věku starosti; když zhyne síla má, neopouštějž mne.
9Cast me not off in the time of old age; when my strength faileth, forsake me not.
10Nebo mluvili nepřátelé moji proti mně, a ti, jenž střehou duše mé, radili se spolu,
10For mine enemies speak concerning me, and they that watch for my soul take counsel together,
11Pravíce: Bůh jej opustil, hoňte a popadněte jej, nebo kdo by ho vytrhl, není žádného.
11Saying: 'God hath forsaken him; pursue and take him; for there is none to deliver.'
12Bože, nevzdalujž se ode mne, Bože můj, přispějž mi na pomoc.
12O God, be not far from me; O my God, make haste to help me.
13Nechť jsou zahanbeni, a zhynou protivníci duše mé; přikryti buďte lehkostí a hanbou, kteříž hledají pádu mého.
13Let them be ashamed and consumed that are adversaries to my soul; let them be covered with reproach and confusion that seek my hurt.
14Já pak ustavičně čekati, a vždy víc a víc tě chváliti budu.
14But as for me, I will hope continually, and will praise Thee yet more and more.
15Ústa má budou vypravovati spravedlnost tvou, každého dne spasení tvé, ačkoli mu počtu nevím.
15My mouth shall tell of Thy righteousness, and of Thy salvation all the day; for I know not the numbers thereof.
16Přistoupě k všelijaké moci Panovníka Hospodina, připomínati budu tvou vlastní spravedlnost.
16I will come with Thy mighty acts, O Lord GOD; I will make mention of Thy righteousness, even of Thine only.
17Bože, učinil jsi mne od mladosti mé, a až po dnes vypravuji o divných činech tvých.
17O God, Thou hast taught me from my youth; and until now do I declare Thy wondrous works.
18Protož také i do starosti a šedin, Bože, neopouštěj mne, až v známost uvedu rámě tvé tomuto věku, a všechněm potomkům sílu tvou.
18And even unto old age and hoary hairs, O God, forsake me not; until I have declared Thy strength unto the next generation, Thy might to every one that is to come.
19Nebo spravedlnost tvá, Bože, vyvýšená jest, provodíš zajisté věci veliké. Bože, kdo jest podobný tobě?
19Thy righteousness also, O God, which reacheth unto high heaven; Thou who hast done great things, O God, who is like unto Thee?
20Kterýž ač jsi mi dal okusiti úzkostí velikých a hrozných, však zase k životu navrátíš mne, a z propastí země zase mne vyzdvihneš.
20Thou, who hast made me to see many and sore troubles, wilt quicken me again, and bring me up again from the depths of the earth.
21Rozmnožíš důstojnost mou, a zase utěšíš mne.
21Thou wilt increase my greatness, and turn and comfort me.
22I jáť také budu tě slaviti na nástroji hudebném, i pravdu tvou, Bože můj; žalmy tobě zpívati budu na harfě, ó svatý Izraelský.
22I also will give thanks unto Thee with the psaltery, even unto Thy truth, O my God; I will sing praises unto Thee with the harp, O Thou Holy One of Israel.
23Plésati budou rtové moji, když žalmy zpívati budu tobě, i duše má, kterouž jsi vykoupil.
23My lips shall greatly rejoice when I sing praises unto Thee; and my soul, which Thou hast redeemed.
24Nadto i jazyk můj každý den vypravovati bude spravedlnost tvou; nebo se zastyděti a zahanbiti musili ti, jenž mého pádu hledali.
24My tongue also shall tell of Thy righteousness all the day; for they are ashamed, for they are abashed, that seek my hurt.
