1Много ми досађиваше од младости моје нека рече Израиљ,
1Out of the depths I have cried to thee, O Lord:
2Много ми досађиваше од младости моје, али ме не свладаше.
2Lord, hear my voice. Let thy ears be attentive to the voice of my supplication.
3На леђима мојим ораше орачи, и водише дуге бразде своје.
3If thou, O Lord, wilt mark iniquities: Lord, who shall stand it.
4Господ је праведан; исече конопце безбожничке.
4For with thee there is merciful forgiveness: and by reason of thy law, I have waited for thee, O Lord. My soul hath relied on his word:
5Постидеће се, одбиће се сви који ненавиде Сион.
5My soul hath hoped in the Lord.
6Биће као трава на крововима, која се сасушује пре него се почупа,
6From the morning watch even until night, let Israel hope in the Lord.
7Од које неће жетелац напунити руке своје, нити наручја своја везилац;
7Because with the Lord there is mercy: and with him plentiful redemption.
8И који пролазе неће рећи: „Благослов Господњи на вама! Благосиљамо вас именом Господњим.”
8And he shall redeem Israel from all his iniquities.
