1OR dica Israele: Mi hanno molte volte assalito dalla mia fanciullezza;
1Out of the depths I have cried to thee, O Lord:
2Mi hanno spesse volte assalito dalla mia fanciullezza; E pure ancora non hanno potuto vincermi.
2Lord, hear my voice. Let thy ears be attentive to the voice of my supplication.
3Degli aratori hanno arato sopra il mio dosso; V 'hanno tirati i lor solchi.
3If thou, O Lord, wilt mark iniquities: Lord, who shall stand it.
4Il Signore è giusto; Egli ha tagliate le funi degli empi.
4For with thee there is merciful forgiveness: and by reason of thy law, I have waited for thee, O Lord. My soul hath relied on his word:
5Tutti quelli che odiano Sion Sieno confusi, e voltin le spalle.
5My soul hath hoped in the Lord.
6Sieno come l'erba de' tetti, Che si secca avanti che sia tratta;
6From the morning watch even until night, let Israel hope in the Lord.
7Della quale il mietitore non empie la sua mano, Nè il suo grembo colui che lega le manelle;
7Because with the Lord there is mercy: and with him plentiful redemption.
8Per la quale eziandio i passanti non dicono: La benedizione del Signore sia sopra voi; Noi vi benediciamo nel Nome del Signore.
8And he shall redeem Israel from all his iniquities.
