1خوشابحال هر‌که از خداوندمی ترسد و بر طریق های او سالک می‌باشد.
1Often have they fought against me from my youth, let Israel now say.
2عمل دستهای خود را خواهی خورد. خوشابحال تو و سعادت با تو خواهد بود.
2Often have they fought against me from my youth: but they could not prevail over me.
3زن تومثل مو بارآور به اطراف خانه تو خواهد بود وپسرانت مثل نهالهای زیتون، گرداگرد سفره تو.
3The wicked have wrought upon my back: they have lengthened their iniquity.
4اینک همچنین مبارک خواهد بود کسی‌که ازخداوند می‌ترسد.
4The Lord who is just will cut the necks of sinners:
5خداوند تو را از صهیون برکت خواهد داد، و در تمام ایام عمرت سعادت اورشلیم را خواهی دید.
5Let them all be confounded and turned back that hate Sion.
6پسران پسران خود راخواهی دید. سلامتی بر اسرائیل باد.
6Let them be as grass on the tops of houses: which withered before it be plucked up:
