1Přednímu z kantorů na gittit, synů Chóre, žalm.
1Unto the end, for the sons of Core, a psalm.
2Jak jsou milí příbytkové tvoji, Hospodine zástupů!
2Lord, thou hast blessed thy land: thou hast turned away the captivity of Jacob.
3Žádostiva jest a velice touží duše má po síňcích Hospodinových; srdce mé, i tělo mé pléše k Bohu živému.
3Thou hast forgiven the iniquity of thy people: thou hast covered all their sins.
4Ano i ten vrabec nalezl sobě místo a vlaštovice hnízdo, v němž by schránila mladé své, při oltářích tvých, Hospodine zástupů, králi můj a Bože můj.
4Thou hast mitigated all thy anger: thou best turned away from the wrath of thy indignation.
5Blahoslavení, kteříž přebývají v domě tvém, tiť tebe na věky chváliti budou. Sélah.
5Convert us, O God our saviour: and turn off thy anger from us.
6Blahoslavený člověk, jehož síla jest Hospodin, a v jejichž srdci jsou stezky kroků jejich,
6Wilt thou be angry with us for ever: or wilt thou extend thy wrath from generation to generation?
7Ti, kteříž jdouce přes údolí moruší, za studnici jej sobě pokládají, na něž i déšť požehnání přichází.
7Thou wilt turn, O God, and bring us to life: and thy people shall rejoice in thee.
8Berou se houf za houfem, a ukazují se před Bohem na Sionu.
8Shew us, O Lord, thy mercy; and grant us thy salvation.
9Hospodine Bože zástupů, vyslyš modlitbu mou, pozoruj, ó Bože Jákobův. Sélah.
9I will hear what the Lord God will speak in me: for he will speak peace unto his people: And unto his saints: and unto them that are converted to the heart.
10Pavézo naše, popatř, ó Bože, a viz tvář pomazaného svého.
10Surely his salvation is near to them that fear him: that glory may dwell in our land.
11Nebo lepší jest den v síňcích tvých, než jinde tisíc; zvolil jsem sobě raději u prahu seděti v domě Boha svého, nežli přebývati v stáncích bezbožníků.
11Mercy and truth have met each other: justice and peace have kissed.
12Nebo Hospodin Bůh jest slunce a pavéza; tuť milosti i slávy udílí Hospodin, aniž odepře čeho dobrého chodícím v upřímnosti.
12Truth is sprung out of the earth: and justice hath looked down from heaven.
13Hospodine zástupů, blahoslavený člověk, kterýž naději skládá v tobě.
13For the Lord will give goodness: and our earth shall yield her fruit.
