1Přednímu z kantorů na gittit, Azafovi.
1A psalm for Asaph. God hath stood in the congregation of gods: and being in the midst of them he judgeth gods.
2Plésejte Bohu, síle naší, prokřikujte Bohu Jákobovu.
2How long will you judge unjustly: and accept the persons of the wicked?
3Vezměte žaltář, přidejte buben, harfu libou a loutnu.
3Judge for the needy and fatherless: do justice to the humble and the poor.
4Trubte trubou na novměsíce, v uložený čas, v den slavnosti naší.
4Rescue the poor; and deliver the needy out of the hand of the sinner.
5Nebo toť jest ustavení v Izraeli, řád Boha Jákobova.
5They have not known nor understood: they walk on in darkness: all the foundations of the earth shall be moved.
6Na svědectví v Jozefovi vyzdvihl jej, když byl vyšel proti zemi Egyptské, kdež jsme jazyk neznámý slýchati musili.
6I have said: You are gods and all of you the sons of the most High.
7Osvobodil jsem, dí Bůh, od břemene rameno jeho, a ruce jeho nádob zednických zproštěny byly.
7But you like men shall die: and shall fall like one of the princes.
8V ssoužení tom, když jsi volal, vytrhl jsem tě, vyslyšel jsem tě z skrýše hromu, zkušoval jsem tě při vodách sváru. Sélah.
8Arise, O God, judge thou the earth: for thou shalt inherit among all the nations.
9Řeklť jsem: Slyš, lide můj, a osvědčím se tobě, ó Izraeli, budeš-li mne poslouchati,

10A nebude-li mezi vámi Boha jiného, a nebudeš-li se klaněti bohu cizímu.

11Já jsem Hospodin Bůh tvůj, kterýž jsem tě vyvedl z země Egyptské, otevři jen ústa svá, a naplnímť je.

12Ale neuposlechl lid můj hlasu mého, a Izrael nepřestal na mně,

13A protož pustil jsem je v žádost srdce jejich, i chodili po radách svých.

14Ó byť mne byl lid můj poslouchal, a Izrael po cestách mých chodil,

15Tudíž bych já byl nepřátely jejich snížil, a na protivníky jejich obrátil ruku svou.

16A ti, kteříž v nenávisti mají Hospodina, úlisně by se jim poddávati musili, i byl by čas jejich až na věky.

17A krmil bych je byl jádrem pšenice, a medem z skály sytil bych je.
