1Bless the LORD, O my soul. O LORD my God, Thou art very great; Thou art clothed with glory and majesty.
1Благосиљај, душо моја, Господа! Господе, Боже мој, велик си веома, обукао си се у величанство и красоту.
2Who coverest Thyself with light as with a garment, who stretchest out the heavens like a curtain;
2Обукао си светлост као хаљину, разапео небо као шатор;
3Who layest the beams of Thine upper chambers in the waters, who makest the clouds Thy chariot, who walkest upon the wings of the wind;
3Водом си покрио дворове своје, облаке начинио си да су Ти кола, идеш не крилима ветреним.
4Who makest winds Thy messengers, the flaming fire Thy ministers.
4Чиниш ветрове да су Ти анђели, пламен огњени да су Ти слуге.
5Who didst establish the earth upon its foundations, that it should not be moved for ever and ever;
5Утврдио си земљу на темељима њеним, да се не помести на век века.
6Thou didst cover it with the deep as with a vesture; the waters stood above the mountains.
6Безданом као хаљином оденуо си је; на горама стоје воде.
7At Thy rebuke they fled, at the voice of Thy thunder they hasted away —
7Од претње Твоје беже, од громовног гласа Твог теку.
8The mountains rose, the valleys sank down — unto the place which Thou hadst founded for them;
8Излазе на горе и силазе у долине, на место које си им утврдио.
9Thou didst set a bound which they should not pass over, that they might not return to cover the earth.
9Поставио си међу, преко које не прелазе, и не враћају се да покрију земљу.
10Who sendest forth springs into the valleys; they run between the mountains;
10Извео си изворе по долинама, између гора теку воде.
11They give drink to every beast of the field, the wild asses quench their thirst.
11Напајају све звери пољске; дивљи магарци гасе жеђ своју.
12Beside them dwell the fowl of the heaven, from among the branches they sing.
12На њима птице небеске живе; кроз гране разлеже се глас њихов.
13Who waterest the mountains from Thine upper chambers; the earth is full of the fruit of Thy works.
13Напајаш горе с висина својих, плодовима дела Твојих сити се земља.
14Who causeth the grass to spring up for the cattle, and herb for the service of man; to bring forth bread out of the earth,
14Дајеш те расте трава стоци, и зелен на корист човеку, да би извадио хлеб из земље.
15And wine that maketh glad the heart of man, making the face brighter than oil, and bread that stayeth man's heart.
15И вино весели срце човеку, и лице се светли од уља, и хлеб срце човеку крепи.
16The trees of the LORD have their fill, the cedars of Lebanon, which He hath planted;
16Сите се дрвета Божија, кедри ливански, које си посадио.
17Wherein the birds make their nests; as for the stork, the fir-trees are her house.
17На њима птице вију гнезда; станак је родин на јелама.
18The high mountains are for the wild goats; the rocks are a refuge for the conies.
18Горе високе дивокозама, камен је уточиште зечевима.
19Who appointedst the moon for seasons; the sun knoweth his going down.
19Створио се месец да показује времена, сунце познаје запад свој.
20Thou makest darkness, and it is night, wherein all the beasts of the forest do creep forth.
20Стереш таму, и бива ноћ, по којој излази све зверје шумско;
21The young lions roar after their prey, and seek their food from God.
21Лавови ричу за пленом, и траже од Бога хране себи.
22The sun ariseth, they slink away, and couch in their dens.
22Сунце гране, и они се сакривају и лежу у ложе своје.
23Man goeth forth unto his work and to his labour until the evening.
23Излази човек на посао свој, и на рад свој до вечера.
24How manifold are Thy works, O LORD! In wisdom hast Thou made them all; the earth is full of Thy creatures.
24Како је много дела Твојих, Господе! Све си премудро створио; пуна је земља блага Твог.
25Yonder sea, great and wide, therein are creeping things innumerable, living creatures, both small and great.
25Гле, море велико и широко, ту гмижу без броја, животиња мала и велика;
26There go the ships; there is leviathan, whom Thou hast formed to sport therein.
26Ту лађе плове, крокодил, ког си створио да се игра по њему.
27All of them wait for Thee, that Thou mayest give them their food in due season.
27Све Тебе чека, да им дајеш пићу на време.
28Thou givest it unto them, they gather it; Thou openest Thy hand, they are satisfied with good.
28Дајеш им, примају; отвориш руку своју, сите се добра.
29Thou hidest Thy face, they vanish; Thou withdrawest their breath, they perish, and return to their dust.
29Одвратиш лице своје, жалосте се; узмеш им дух, гину, и у прах свој враћају се.
30Thou sendest forth Thy spirit, they are created; and Thou renewest the face of the earth.
30Пошаљеш дух свој, постају, и понављаш лице земљи.
31May the glory of the LORD endure for ever; let the LORD rejoice in His works!
31Слава Господу увек; нек се весели Господ за дела своја!
32Who looketh on the earth, and it trembleth; He toucheth the mountains, and they smoke.
32Он погледа на земљу, и она се тресе; дотакне се гора, и диме се.
33I will sing unto the LORD as long as I live; I will sing praise to my God while I have any being.
33Певаћу Господу за живота свог; хвалићу Бога свог док сам год.
34Let my musing be sweet unto Him; as for me, I will rejoice in the LORD.
34Нека Му буде мила беседа моја! Веселићу се о Господу.
35Let sinners cease out of the earth, and let the wicked be no more. Bless the LORD, O my soul. Hallelujah.
35Нека нестане грешника са земље, и безбожника нека не буде више! Благосиљај, душо моја, Господа! Алилуја!
