1Michtam of David. Keep me, O God; for I have taken refuge in Thee.
1Чувај ме, Боже; јер се у Те уздам.
2I have said unto the LORD: 'Thou art my Lord; I have no good but in Thee';
2Рекох Господу: Ти си Господ мој, немам добра осим Тебе.
3As for the holy that are in the earth, they are the excellent in whom is all my delight.
3У светима који су на земљи и у великима сва је утеха моја.
4Let the idols of them be multiplied that make suit unto another; their drink-offerings of blood will I not offer, nor take their names upon my lips.
4Нека други умножавају идоле своје, нека трче к туђима; ја им нећу лити крваве наливе, нити ћу метнути имена њихова у уста своја.
5O LORD, the portion of mine inheritance and of my cup, Thou maintainest my lot.
5Господ је мој део наследства и чаше; Ти подижеш достојање моје.
6The lines are fallen unto me in pleasant places; yea, I have a goodly heritage.
6Уже ми је захватило прекрасна места, и део ми је мој мио.
7I will bless the LORD, who hath given me counsel; yea, in the night seasons my reins instruct me.
7Благосиљам Господа, који ме уразумљује; томе ме и ноћу учи шта је у мени.
8I have set the LORD always before me; surely He is at my right hand, I shall not be moved.
8Свагда видим пред собом Господа; Он ми је с десне стране да не посрнем.
9Therefore my heart is glad, and my glory rejoiceth; my flesh also dwelleth in safety;
9Тога ради радује се срце моје, и весели се језик мој, још ће се и тело моје смирити у уздању;
10For Thou wilt not abandon my soul to the nether-world; neither wilt Thou suffer Thy godly one to see the pit.
10Јер нећеш оставити душу моју у паклу, нити ћеш дати да Светац Твој види трулост.
11Thou makest me to know the path of life; in Thy presence is fulness of joy, in Thy right hand bliss for evermore.
11Показаћеш ми пут животни; обиље је радости пред лицем Твојим, утеха у десници Твојој довека.
