1A Prayer of David. Incline Thine ear, O LORD, and answer me; for I am poor and needy.
1Пригни, Господе, ухо своје и услиши ме, јер сам невољан и ништ.
2Keep my soul, for I am godly; O Thou my God, save Thy servant that trusteth in Thee.
2Сачувај душу моју, јер сам Твој поклоник. Спаси слугу свог, Боже мој, који се у Те узда.
3Be gracious unto me, O Lord; for unto Thee do I cry all the day.
3Смилуј се на ме, Господе, јер к Теби вичем сав дан.
4Rejoice the soul of Thy servant; for unto Thee, O Lord, do I lift up my soul.
4Овесели душу слуге свог, јер к Теби, Господе, подижем душу своју.
5For Thou, Lord, art good, and ready to pardon, and plenteous in mercy unto all them that call upon Thee.
5Јер си Ти, Господе, добар и милосрдан и веома милостив свима који Те призивају.
6Give ear, O LORD, unto my prayer; and attend unto the voice of my supplications.
6Чуј, Господе, молитву моју, и слушај глас мољења мог.
7In the day of my trouble I call upon Thee; for Thou wilt answer me.
7У дан туге своје призивам Те, јер ћеш ме услишити.
8There is none like unto Thee among the gods, O Lord, and there are no works like Thine.
8Нема међу боговима таквог какав си Ти, Господе, и нема дела таквих каква су Твоја.
9All nations whom Thou hast made shall come and prostrate themselves before Thee, O Lord; and they shall glorify Thy name.
9Сви народи, које си створио, доћи ће и поклонити се пред Тобом, Господе, и славити име Твоје.
10For Thou art great, and doest wondrous things; Thou art God alone.
10Јер си Ти велик и твориш чудеса; Ти си један Бог.
11Teach me, O LORD, Thy way, that I may walk in Thy truth; make one my heart to fear Thy name.
11Покажи ми, Господе, пут свој, и ићи ћу у истини Твојој; учини нека се мили срцу мом бојати се имена Твог.
12I will thank Thee, O Lord my God, with my whole heart; and I will glorify Thy name for evermore.
12Славићу Те, Господе Боже мој, свим срцем својим, и поштоваћу име Твоје довека.
13For great is Thy mercy toward me; and Thou hast delivered my soul from the lowest nether-world.
13Јер је милост Твоја велика нада мном, и извадио си душу моју из пакла најдубљег.
14O God, the proud are risen up against me, and the company of violent men have sought after my soul, and have not set Thee before them.
14Боже, охолице усташе на мене, и гомила насилника тражи душу моју, и немају Тебе пред собом.
15But Thou, O Lord, art a God full of compassion and gracious, slow to anger, and plenteous in mercy and truth.
15Али Ти, Господе, Боже милостиви и благи, стрпљиви и богати добротом и истином,
16O turn unto me, and be gracious unto me; give Thy strength unto Thy servant, and save the son of Thy handmaid.
16Погледај на ме и смилуј ми се, дај силу своју слузи свом, и помози сину слушкиње своје;
17Work in my behalf a sign for good; that they that hate me may see it, and be put to shame, because Thou, LORD, hast helped me, and comforted me.
17Учини са мном чудо доброте. Нека виде који ме ненавиде, и постиде се, што си ми, Господе, помогао и утешио ме.
