1Not unto us, O LORD, not unto us, but unto Thy name give glory, for Thy mercy, and for Thy truth's sake.
1Не нама, Господе, не нама, него имену свом дај славу, по милости својој, по истини својој.
2Wherefore should the nations say: 'Where is now their God?'
2Зашто да говоре народи: Где ли је Бог њихов?
3But our God is in the heavens; whatsoever pleased Him He hath done.
3Бог је наш на небесима, твори све што хоће.
4Their idols are silver and gold, the work of men's hands.
4Идоли су њихови сребро и злато, дело руку човечијих.
5They have mouths, but they speak not; eyes have they, but they see not;
5Уста имају, а не говоре; очи имају, а не виде;
6They have ears, but they hear not; noses have they, but they smell not;
6Уши имају, а не чују; ноздрве имају, а не миришу;
7They have hands, but they handle not; feet have they, but they walk not; neither speak they with their throat.
7Руке имају, а не хватају; ноге имају, а не ходе, и не пуштају глас из грла свог.
8They that make them shall be like unto them; yea, every one that trusteth in them.
8Такви су и они који их граде, и сви који се уздају у њих.
9O Israel, trust thou in the LORD! He is their help and their shield!
9Доме Израиљев, уздај се у Господа; Он им је помоћ и штит.
10O house of Aaron, trust ye in the LORD! He is their help and their shield!
10Доме Аронов, уздај се у Господа; Он им је помоћ и штит.
11Ye that fear the LORD, trust in the LORD! He is their help and their shield.
11Који се бојите Господа, уздајте се у Господа; Он им је помоћ и штит.
12The LORD hath been mindful of us, He will bless — He will bless the house of Israel; He will bless the house of Aaron.
12Господ нас се опомиње, благосиља нас, благосиља дом Израиљев, благосиља дом Аронов;
13He will bless them that fear the LORD, both small and great.
13Благосиља оне који се боје Господа, мале и велике.
14The LORD increase you more and more, you and your children.
14Да вам Господ умножи благослове, вама и синовима вашим!
15Blessed be ye of the LORD who made heaven and earth.
15Господ да вас благослови, Творац неба и земље!
16The heavens are the heavens of the LORD; but the earth hath He given to the children of men.
16Небо је небо Господње, а земљу је дао синовима човечијим.
17The dead praise not the LORD, neither any that go down into silence;
17Неће Те мртви хвалити, Господе, нити они који сиђу онамо где се ћути.
18But we will bless the LORD from this time forth and for ever. Hallelujah.
18Него ћемо ми благосиљати Господа одсад и довека. Алилуја!
