1Not unto us, O LORD, not unto us, but unto Thy name give glory, for Thy mercy, and for Thy truth's sake.
1Не нам, Господи, не нам, но імені твому дай славу по милостї твоїй, по правдї твоїй!
2Wherefore should the nations say: 'Where is now their God?'
2Чому мають казати народи: Де ж їх Бог?
3But our God is in the heavens; whatsoever pleased Him He hath done.
3Але ж Бог наш на небесах; все, що любо йому, він творить.
4Their idols are silver and gold, the work of men's hands.
4Божища їх — срібло і золото, твориво рук чоловічих.
5They have mouths, but they speak not; eyes have they, but they see not;
5Мають уста, і не говорять; очі мають, і не бачать;
6They have ears, but they hear not; noses have they, but they smell not;
6Мають уші, і не чують; нїздра мають, і нема в них нюху.
7They have hands, but they handle not; feet have they, but they walk not; neither speak they with their throat.
7Руки їх не беруть; ноги їх не ходять; не чути жадного голосу з їх горла.
8They that make them shall be like unto them; yea, every one that trusteth in them.
8Їм рівні ті, що роблять їх, кожний, що на них вповає.
9O Israel, trust thou in the LORD! He is their help and their shield!
9Ізраїлю, вповай на Господа! Він поміч їх і щит їх.
10O house of Aaron, trust ye in the LORD! He is their help and their shield!
10Доме Ааронів, уповай на Господа! Він поміч їх і щит їх.
11Ye that fear the LORD, trust in the LORD! He is their help and their shield.
11Ви, що боїтесь Господа, вповайте на Господа! Він поміч їх і щит їх.
12The LORD hath been mindful of us, He will bless — He will bless the house of Israel; He will bless the house of Aaron.
12Господь спогадав нас, він буде благословити: Благословити ме дім Ізраїля, благословити ме дім Аарона.
13He will bless them that fear the LORD, both small and great.
13Буде благословити боящихся Господа, малих вкупі з великими.
14The LORD increase you more and more, you and your children.
14Помножить вас Господь, вас і дїтей ваших.
15Blessed be ye of the LORD who made heaven and earth.
15Нехай благословить вас Господь, що сотворив небеса і землю.
16The heavens are the heavens of the LORD; but the earth hath He given to the children of men.
16Небеса, Господнї небеса, а землю дав дїтям людським.
17The dead praise not the LORD, neither any that go down into silence;
17Мертві не будуть хвалити Господа, нї всї ті, що йдуть до місця мовчання.
18But we will bless the LORD from this time forth and for ever. Hallelujah.
18Ми ж будем прославляти Господа, від нинї по віки. Хвалїте Господа!
