1A Psalm of David. O LORD, hear my prayer, give ear to my supplications; in Thy faithfulness answer me, and in Thy righteousness.
1Псальма Давидова. Господи, вислухай молитву мою, нахили ухо до благання мого! Вислухай мене по вірностї твоїй, по справедливостї твоїй!
2And enter not into judgment with Thy servant; for in Thy sight shall no man living be justified.
2І не входи в суд із слугою твоїм, нїхто бо з живих не оправдиться перед тобою.
3For the enemy hath persecuted my soul; he hath crushed my life down to the ground; he hath made me to dwell in darkness, as those that have been long dead.
3Бо ворог слїдить душу мою, топче життє моє до землї, закопує мене у темних місцях, як мерцїв давно померших.
4And my spirit fainteth within me; my heart within me is appalled.
4І дух мій охляв в мене, серце моє ниє.
5I remember the days of old; I meditate on all Thy doing; I muse on the work of Thy hands.
5Згадаю днї давні, про дїла твої промишляючи; думаю-гадаю над творивом рук твоїх.
6I spread forth my hands unto Thee; my soul thirsteth after Thee, as a weary land. Selah
6До тебе простираю руки мої; як спрагнена земля, так душа моя тебе жадає.
7Answer me speedily, O LORD, my spirit faileth; hide not Thy face from me; lest I become like them that go down into the pit.
7Поспіши, Господи, вислухай мене! Дух мій холоне. Не крий лиця свого передо мною! ато буду як ті, що йдуть в домовину!
8Cause me to hear Thy lovingkindness in the morning, for in Thee do I trust; cause me to know the way wherein I should walk, for unto Thee have I lifted up my soul.
8Вранцї дай почути милість твою! Бо на тебе вповаю. Яви менї дорогу, котрою ступати маю! Бо до тебе підношу душу мою.
9Deliver me from mine enemies, O LORD; with Thee have I hidden myself.
9Рятуй мене, Господи, від ворогів моїх! До тебе прибігаю.
10Teach me to do Thy will, for Thou art my God; let Thy good spirit lead me in an even land.
10Навчи мене творити волю твою! Ти бо єси Бог мій; дух твій благий нехай по рівнинї веде мене.
11For Thy name's sake, O LORD, quicken me; in Thy righteousness bring my soul out of trouble.
11Задля імени твого, Господи, оживи мене; у твоїй справедливостї виведи душу мою з тїсноти!
12And in Thy mercy cut off mine enemies, and destroy all them that harass my soul; for I am Thy servant.
12А по милостї твоїй вигуби ворогів моїх, і гнобителїв душі моєї занапасти! Я бо слуга твій.
