1A Psalm of David. LORD, I have called Thee; make haste unto me; give ear unto my voice, when I call unto Thee.
1Псальма Давидова. Господи! До тебе кликав я, поспіши до мене! Почуй голос мій, коли до тебе взиваю!
2Let my prayer be set forth as incense before Thee, the lifting up of my hands as the evening sacrifice.
2Буде ж молитва моя, як кадило, перед тобою, простираннє рук моїх, як жертва вечірня!
3Set a guard, O LORD, to my mouth; keep watch at the door of my lips.
3Постав, Господи, сторожу губам моїм! Пильнуй дверей уст моїх!
4Incline not my heart to any evil thing, to be occupied in deeds of wickedness with men that work iniquity; and let me not eat of their dainties.
4Не дай серцю мому до злого прихилятись, в неправотї з людьми накладати, що беззаконнє творять; та й щоб не бути менї учасником ласощів їх.
5Let the righteous smite me in kindness, and correct me; oil so choice let not my head refuse; for still is my prayer because of their wickedness.
5Нехай покарає мене праведний, — се доброта; нехай докоряє мене, — се олива на голову; не одвернеться голова моя, бо навіть за лихі їх вчинки буде моя молитва за них.
6Their judges are thrown down by the sides of the rock; and they shall hear my words, that they are sweet.
6Як скинуть суддїв їх стрімголов із скелї, тодї буде чути слова мої, які вони милі.
7As when one cleaveth and breaketh up the earth, our bones are scattered at the grave's mouth.
7Як земля зʼорана і розбита, так костї наші розсиплються в челюстях пропастї підземної.
8For mine eyes are unto Thee, O GOD the Lord; in Thee have I taken refuge, O pour not out my soul.
8Та на тебе, Господи, Владико мій, очі мої поглядають, на тебе вповаю; не відкинь душі моєї!
9Keep me from the snare which they have laid for me, and from the gins of the workers of iniquity.
9Сохрани мене від сїл, що вони заставили на мене, і від западнї тих, що творять дїла беззаконні!
10Let the wicked fall into their own nets, whilst I withal escape.
10Дай беззаконним попасти в їх власні сїти, а менї перейти мимо.
