1A Psalm of David. LORD, I have called Thee; make haste unto me; give ear unto my voice, when I call unto Thee.
1Господе, вичем к Теби, похитај к мени, чуј глас мољења мог, кад вичем к Теби.
2Let my prayer be set forth as incense before Thee, the lifting up of my hands as the evening sacrifice.
2Нек изађе молитва моја као кад пред лице Твоје, дизање руку мојих као принос, вечерњи.
3Set a guard, O LORD, to my mouth; keep watch at the door of my lips.
3Постави, Господе, стражу код језика мог, чувај врата уста мојих.
4Incline not my heart to any evil thing, to be occupied in deeds of wickedness with men that work iniquity; and let me not eat of their dainties.
4Не дај срцу мом да застрани на зле помисли, да чини дела безбожна с људима који поступају неправедно; и да не окусим сладости њихове.
5Let the righteous smite me in kindness, and correct me; oil so choice let not my head refuse; for still is my prayer because of their wickedness.
5Нека ме бије праведник, то је милост; нека ме кара, то је уље за главу моју; глава моја неће одбацити, ако ће и више; него је молитва моја против злоће њихове.
6Their judges are thrown down by the sides of the rock; and they shall hear my words, that they are sweet.
6Расуше се по каменим врлетима судије њихове, и чуше речи моје како су благе.
7As when one cleaveth and breaketh up the earth, our bones are scattered at the grave's mouth.
7Као кад ко сече и теше, тако се разлетеше кости наше до чељусти паклених.
8For mine eyes are unto Thee, O GOD the Lord; in Thee have I taken refuge, O pour not out my soul.
8Али су к Теби, Господе, Господе, управљене очи моје, у Тебе се уздам, немој одбацити душу моју.
9Keep me from the snare which they have laid for me, and from the gins of the workers of iniquity.
9Сачувај ме од замке, коју ми метнуше, од лукавства оних, који чине безакоње.
10Let the wicked fall into their own nets, whilst I withal escape.
10Пашће у мреже своје безбожници, а ја ћу један проћи.
