1A Psalm of Asaph. God, God, the LORD, hath spoken, and called the earth from the rising of the sun unto the going down thereof.
1Бог над боговима, Господ, говори и дозива земљу од истока сунчаног до запада.
2Out of Zion, the perfection of beauty, God hath shined forth.
2Са Сиона, који је врх красоте, јавља се Бог.
3Our God cometh, and doth not keep silence; a fire devoureth before Him, and round about Him it stormeth mightily.
3Иде Бог наш, и не ћути; пред Њим је огањ који прождире, око Њега је бура велика.
4He calleth to the heavens above, and to the earth, that He may judge His people:
4Дозива небо одозго и земљу, да суди народу свом:
5'Gather My saints together unto Me; those that have made a covenant with Me by sacrifice.'
5„Скупите ми свеце моје, који су учинили са мном завет на жртви.”
6And the heavens declare His righteousness; for God, He is judge. Selah
6(И небеса огласише правду Његову, јер је тај судија Бог.)
7'Hear, O My people, and I will speak; O Israel, and I will testify against thee: God, thy God, am I.
7Слушај, народе мој, шта ћу ти казати, Израиљу, шта ћу ти јавити. Ја сам Бог, Бог твој.
8I will not reprove thee for thy sacrifices; and thy burnt-offerings are continually before Me.
8Нећу те за жртве твоје карати; твоје жртве паљенице свагда су преда мном.
9I will take no bullock out of thy house, nor he-goats out of thy folds.
9Не треба ми узимати телета из дома твог, ни јарића из торова твојих.
10For every beast of the forest is Mine, and the cattle upon a thousand hills.
10Јер је моје све горско зверје, и стока по планинама на хиљаде.
11I know all the fowls of the mountains; and the wild beasts of the field are Mine.
11Знам све птице по горама, и красота пољска преда мном је.
12If I were hungry, I would not tell thee; for the world is Mine, and the fulness thereof.
12Да огладним, не бих теби рекао, јер је моја васиљена и све што је у њој.
13Do I eat the flesh of bulls, or drink the blood of goats?
13Зар ја једем месо волујско, или крв јарећу пијем?
14Offer unto God the sacrifice of thanksgiving; and pay thy vows unto the Most High;
14Принеси Богу хвалу на жртву, и извршуј Вишњему завете своје.
15And call upon Me in the day of trouble; I will deliver thee, and thou shalt honour Me.'
15Призови ме у невољи својој, избавићу те, и ти ме прослави.
16But unto the wicked God saith: 'What hast thou to do to declare My statutes, and that thou hast taken My covenant in thy mouth?
16А безбожнику рече Бог: Зашто казујеш уредбе моје и носиш завет мој у устима својим?
17Seeing thou hatest instruction, and castest My words behind thee.
17А сам мрзиш на науку, и речи моје бацаш за леђа.
18When thou sawest a thief, thou hadst company with him, and with adulterers was thy portion.
18Кад видиш лупежа, пристајеш с њим, и с прељубочинцима имаш део.
19Thou hast let loose thy mouth for evil, and thy tongue frameth deceit.
19Уста си своја пустио да говоре зло, и језик твој плете преваре.
20Thou sittest and speakest against thy brother; thou slanderest thine own mother's son.
20Седиш и говориш на брата свог, сина матере своје опадаш.
21These things hast thou done, and should I have kept silence? Thou hadst thought that I was altogether such a one as thyself; but I will reprove thee, and set the cause before thine eyes.
21Ти си то чинио, ја ћутах, а ти помисли да сам ја као ти. Обличићу те, метнућу ти пред очи грехе твоје.
22Now consider this, ye that forget God, lest I tear in pieces, and there be none to deliver.
22Разумејте ово који заборављате Бога! Иначе ћу зграбити, па неће нико избавити.
23Whoso offereth the sacrifice of thanksgiving honoureth Me; and to him that ordereth his way aright will I show the salvation of God.'
23Онај мене поштује који приноси хвалу на жртву и који је путем на опазу. Ја ћу му показати спасење Божије.
