1A Psalm of David. Fret not thyself because of evil-doers, neither be thou envious against them that work unrighteousness.
1Немој се жестити гледајући неваљале, немој завидети онима који чине безакоње.
2For they shall soon wither like the grass, and fade as the green herb.
2Јер се као трава брзо косе, и као зелено биље вену.
3Trust in the LORD, and do good; dwell in the land, and cherish faithfulness.
3Уздај се у Господа и твори добро; живи на земљи и храни истину.
4So shalt thou delight thyself in the LORD; and He shall give thee the petitions of thy heart.
4Теши се Господом, и учиниће ти шта ти срце жели.
5Commit thy way unto the LORD; trust also in Him, and He will bring it to pass.
5Предај Господу пут свој, и уздај се у Њега, Он ће учинити.
6And He will make thy righteousness to go forth as the light, and thy right as the noonday.
6И извешће као видело правду твоју, и правицу твоју као подне.
7Resign thyself unto the LORD, and wait patiently for Him; fret not thyself because of him who prospereth in his way, because of the man who bringeth wicked devices to pass.
7Ослони се на Господа, и чекај Га. Немој се жестити гледајући кога где напредује на путу свом, човека, који ради шта намисли.
8Cease from anger, and forsake wrath; fret not thyself, it tendeth only to evil-doing.
8Утишај гнев, и остави јарост; немој се дражити да зло чиниш.
9For evil-doers shall be cut off; but those that wait for the LORD, they shall inherit the land.
9Јер ће се истребити који чине зло, а који чекају Господа наследиће земљу.
10And yet a little while, and the wicked is no more; yea, thou shalt look well at his place, and he is not.
10Још мало, па неће бити безбожника; погледаћеш на место његово, а њега нема.
11But the humble shall inherit the land, and delight themselves in the abundance of peace.
11А смерни ће наследити земљу, и наслађиваће се множином мира.
12The wicked plotteth against the righteous, and gnasheth at him with his teeth.
12Зло мисли безбожник праведнику, и шкргуће на њ зубима својим.
13The Lord doth laugh at him; for He seeth that his day is coming.
13Али му се Господ смеје, јер види да се примиче дан његов.
14The wicked have drawn out the sword, and have bent their bow; to cast down the poor and needy, to slay such as are upright in the way;
14Мач потежу безбожници, запињу лук свој, да оборе убогога и ништега и покољу оне који иду правим путем.
15Their sword shall enter into their own heart, and their bows shall be broken.
15Мач ће њихов ударити у њихово срце, и лукови њихови поломиће се.
16Better is a little that the righteous hath than the abundance of many wicked.
16Боље је мало у праведника него богатство многих безбожника.
17For the arms of the wicked shall be broken; but the LORD upholdeth the righteous.
17Јер ће се мишице безбожницима потрти, а праведнике утврђује Господ.
18The LORD knoweth the days of them that are wholehearted; and their inheritance shall be for ever.
18Зна Господ дане безазленима, и део њихов траје довека.
19They shall not be ashamed in the time of evil; and in the days of famine they shall be satisfied.
19Неће се постидети у зло доба, у дане гладне биће сити.
20For the wicked shall perish, and the enemies of the LORD shall be as the fat of lambs — they shall pass away in smoke, they shall pass away.
20А безбожници гину, и непријатељи Господњи као лепота шумска пролазе, као дим пролазе.
21The wicked borroweth, and payeth not; but the righteous dealeth graciously, and giveth.
21Безбожник узаима и не враћа, а праведник поклања и даје.
22For such as are blessed of Him shall inherit the land; and they that are cursed of Him shall be cut off.
22Јер које Он благослови, они наследе земљу, а које Он прокуне, они се истребе.
23It is of the LORD that a man's goings are established; and He delighted in his way.
23Господ утврђује кораке сваког човека и мио Му је пут његов.
24Though he fall, he shall not be utterly cast down; for the LORD upholdeth his hand.
24Кад посрне да падне, неће пасти, јер га Господ држи за руку.
25I have been young, and now am old; yet have I not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his seed begging bread.
25Бејах млад и остарех, и не видех праведника остављеног, ни деце његове да просе хлеба.
26All the day long he dealeth graciously, and lendeth; and his seed is blessed.
26Сваки дан поклања и даје у зајам, и на наслеђу је његовом благослов.
27Depart from evil, and do good; and dwell for evermore.
27Уклањај се ода зла, и чини добро, и живи довека.
28For the LORD loveth justice, and forsaketh not His saints; they are preserved for ever; but the seed of the wicked shall be cut off.
28Јер Господ љуби праведни суд, и не оставља свеце своје; увек се они чувају; а племе ће се безбожничко истребити.
29The righteous shall inherit the land, and dwell therein for ever.
29Праведници ће наследити земљу, и живеће на њој довека.
30The mouth of the righteous uttereth wisdom, and his tongue speaketh justice.
30Уста праведникова говоре мудрост, и језик његов казује истину.
31The law of his God is in his heart; none of his steps slide.
31Закон је Бога његовог њему у срцу, стопала се његова не спотичу.
32The wicked watcheth the righteous, and seeketh to slay him.
32Безбожник вреба праведника, и тражи да га убије;
33The LORD will not leave him in his hand, nor suffer him to be condemned when he is judged.
33Али га Господ неће пустити у руке његове, нити ће дати да га окриве кад се стану судити.
34Wait for the LORD, and keep His way, and He will exalt thee to inherit the land; when the wicked are cut off, thou shalt see it.
34Чекај Господа и држи се пута Његовог, и Он ће те поставити да владаш земљом; видећеш како ће се истребити безбожници.
35I have seen the wicked in great power, and spreading himself like a leafy tree in its native soil.
35Видех безбожника страшног који се рашириваше као гранато дрво;
36But one passed by, and, lo, he was not; yea, I sought him, but he could not be found.
36Али прође, и ево нема га; тражим га и не находим.
37Mark the man of integrity, and behold the upright; for there is a future for the man of peace.
37Храни чистоту и пази правду, јер ће у човека мирног остати наслеђе.
38But transgressors shall be destroyed together; the future of the wicked shall be cut off.
38А безаконика ће нестати сасвим; наслеђе ће се безбожничко затрти.
39But the salvation of the righteous is of the LORD; He is their stronghold in the time of trouble.
39Од Господа је спасење праведницима; Он је крепост њихова у невољи.
40And the LORD helpeth them, and delivereth them; He delivereth them from the wicked, and saveth them, because they have taken refuge in Him.
40Господ ће им помоћи, и избавиће их; избавиће их од безбожника, и сачуваће их, јер се у Њега уздају.
