1A Psalm of David. O LORD, hear my prayer, give ear to my supplications; in Thy faithfulness answer me, and in Thy righteousness.
1Господе, услиши молитву моју, прими мољење моје по истини својој, услиши ме по правди својој.
2And enter not into judgment with Thy servant; for in Thy sight shall no man living be justified.
2И не иди на суд са слугом својим, јер се неће оправдати пред Тобом нико жив.
3For the enemy hath persecuted my soul; he hath crushed my life down to the ground; he hath made me to dwell in darkness, as those that have been long dead.
3Непријатељ гони душу моју, гази у прах живот мој, посађује ме у мрак, као давно помрле.
4And my spirit fainteth within me; my heart within me is appalled.
4Трне у мени дух мој, нестаје у мени срца мог.
5I remember the days of old; I meditate on all Thy doing; I muse on the work of Thy hands.
5Помињем дане старе, пребрајам све послове Твоје, размишљам о делима руку Твојих.
6I spread forth my hands unto Thee; my soul thirsteth after Thee, as a weary land. Selah
6Пружам к Теби руке своје; душа је моја као сува земља пред Тобом.
7Answer me speedily, O LORD, my spirit faileth; hide not Thy face from me; lest I become like them that go down into the pit.
7Похитај, услиши ме; Господе, нестаје духа мог, немој одвратити лице своје од мене; јер ћу бити као они који одлазе у гроб.
8Cause me to hear Thy lovingkindness in the morning, for in Thee do I trust; cause me to know the way wherein I should walk, for unto Thee have I lifted up my soul.
8Рано ми јави милост своју, јер се у Тебе уздам. Покажи ми пут, којим да идем, јер к Теби подижем душу своју.
9Deliver me from mine enemies, O LORD; with Thee have I hidden myself.
9Избави ме од непријатеља мојих, Господе, к Теби притечем.
10Teach me to do Thy will, for Thou art my God; let Thy good spirit lead me in an even land.
10Научи ме Творити вољу Твоју, јер си Ти Бог мој; дух Твој благи нека ме води по стази правој.
11For Thy name's sake, O LORD, quicken me; in Thy righteousness bring my soul out of trouble.
11Имена ради свог, Господе, оживи ме, по правди својој изведи из муке душу моју.
12And in Thy mercy cut off mine enemies, and destroy all them that harass my soul; for I am Thy servant.
12И по милости својој истреби непријатеље моје, и погуби све који муче душу моју, јер сам Твој слуга.
