1A Prayer of David. Incline Thine ear, O LORD, and answer me; for I am poor and needy.
1Молитва Давидова. Приклони, Господи, ухо твоє, вислухай мене! Бо я нужденний і вбогий.
2Keep my soul, for I am godly; O Thou my God, save Thy servant that trusteth in Thee.
2Сохрани душу мою, бо я богомільний. Спаси, Боже мій, слугу твого, що вповає на тебе!
3Be gracious unto me, O Lord; for unto Thee do I cry all the day.
3Помилуй мене, Господи! Бо кличу до тебе цїлий день.
4Rejoice the soul of Thy servant; for unto Thee, O Lord, do I lift up my soul.
4Звесели душу слуги твого! Бо до тебе, Господи, підношу душу мою.
5For Thou, Lord, art good, and ready to pardon, and plenteous in mercy unto all them that call upon Thee.
5Ти бо, Господи, благий і лагідний, і дуже милосердний для всїх, хто призиває тебе.
6Give ear, O LORD, unto my prayer; and attend unto the voice of my supplications.
6Приклони, Господи, ухо до молитви моєї, і почуй голос благання мого!
7In the day of my trouble I call upon Thee; for Thou wilt answer me.
7В день туги моєї покличу тебе, ти бо вислухаєш мене.
8There is none like unto Thee among the gods, O Lord, and there are no works like Thine.
8Нема між богами такого, як ти, Господи, і нїщо не рівняється дїлам твоїм.
9All nations whom Thou hast made shall come and prostrate themselves before Thee, O Lord; and they shall glorify Thy name.
9Всї народи, що сотворив їх, прийдуть і поклоняться перед тобою, Господи, і будуть імя твоє прославляти.
10For Thou art great, and doest wondrous things; Thou art God alone.
10Ти бо великий єси і чудеса твориш, ти єси Бог, сам один.
11Teach me, O LORD, Thy way, that I may walk in Thy truth; make one my heart to fear Thy name.
11Покажи менї, Господи, дорогу твою; буду ходити в правдї твоїй; прихили серце моє до страху імені твого.
12I will thank Thee, O Lord my God, with my whole heart; and I will glorify Thy name for evermore.
12Восхвалю тебе, Господи, Боже мій, цїлим серцем моїм, і прославлю імя твоє по віки.
13For great is Thy mercy toward me; and Thou hast delivered my soul from the lowest nether-world.
13Велика бо милість твоя надо мною, ти вибавив душу мою з підземної пропастї.
14O God, the proud are risen up against me, and the company of violent men have sought after my soul, and have not set Thee before them.
14Боже, бутні піднялись на мене, і голота розбишак чигає на життє моє, й не вважають вони на тебе.
15But Thou, O Lord, art a God full of compassion and gracious, slow to anger, and plenteous in mercy and truth.
15Ти ж, Господи, єси Бог, милосердний і благий, повільний до гнїву, і великий милостю і правдою!
16O turn unto me, and be gracious unto me; give Thy strength unto Thy servant, and save the son of Thy handmaid.
16Озирнись на мене, і змилуйся надо мною! Дай слузї твому силу твою, і спаси сина служки твоєї.
17Work in my behalf a sign for good; that they that hate me may see it, and be put to shame, because Thou, LORD, hast helped me, and comforted me.
17Яви знамя милостї твоєї, щоб ненавидники мої осоромились, бачивши, що ти, Господи, допоміг менї і потїшив мене.
