1A Prayer of David. Incline Thine ear, O LORD, and answer me; for I am poor and needy.
1Klinu, ho Eternulo, Vian orelon, aŭskultu min; Ĉar mi estas mizera kaj malriĉa.
2Keep my soul, for I am godly; O Thou my God, save Thy servant that trusteth in Thee.
2Konservu mian animon, ĉar mi estas fidela; Ho Vi, mia Dio, helpu Vian sklavon, kiu fidas Vin.
3Be gracious unto me, O Lord; for unto Thee do I cry all the day.
3Korfavoru min, ho mia Sinjoro, Ĉar mi vokas al Vi la tutan tagon.
4Rejoice the soul of Thy servant; for unto Thee, O Lord, do I lift up my soul.
4Ĝojigu la animon de Via sklavo, Ĉar al Vi, ho mia Sinjoro, mi levas mian animon.
5For Thou, Lord, art good, and ready to pardon, and plenteous in mercy unto all them that call upon Thee.
5Ĉar Vi, mia Sinjoro, estas bona kaj pardonema Kaj tre favora por ĉiuj, kiuj Vin vokas.
6Give ear, O LORD, unto my prayer; and attend unto the voice of my supplications.
6Aŭskultu, ho Eternulo, mian preĝon, Kaj atentu la voĉon de mia petego.
7In the day of my trouble I call upon Thee; for Thou wilt answer me.
7En tago de mia sufero mi Vin vokas, Por ke Vi aŭskultu min.
8There is none like unto Thee among the gods, O Lord, and there are no works like Thine.
8Ne ekzistas simila al Vi inter la dioj, ho mia Sinjoro, Kaj ne ekzistas faroj kiel Viaj.
9All nations whom Thou hast made shall come and prostrate themselves before Thee, O Lord; and they shall glorify Thy name.
9Ĉiuj popoloj, kiujn Vi kreis, venos kaj kliniĝos antaŭ Via vizaĝo, ho mia Sinjoro, Kaj honoros Vian nomon.
10For Thou art great, and doest wondrous things; Thou art God alone.
10Ĉar Vi estas granda kaj Vi faras miraklojn; Vi sola estas Dio.
11Teach me, O LORD, Thy way, that I may walk in Thy truth; make one my heart to fear Thy name.
11Montru al mi, ho Eternulo, Vian vojon, por ke mi iru en Via vero; Dediĉu mian koron al la respektado de Via nomo.
12I will thank Thee, O Lord my God, with my whole heart; and I will glorify Thy name for evermore.
12Mi dankos Vin, ho mia Sinjoro, mia Dio, per mia tuta koro, Kaj mi honoros Vian nomon eterne.
13For great is Thy mercy toward me; and Thou hast delivered my soul from the lowest nether-world.
13Ĉar granda estas Via boneco al mi; Kaj Vi savis mian animon el la profundo de Ŝeol.
14O God, the proud are risen up against me, and the company of violent men have sought after my soul, and have not set Thee before them.
14Ho Dio, fieruloj leviĝis kontraŭ mi, Kaj anaro da premantoj serĉas mian animon Kaj ne havas Vin antaŭ si.
15But Thou, O Lord, art a God full of compassion and gracious, slow to anger, and plenteous in mercy and truth.
15Sed Vi, mia Sinjoro, estas Dio kompatema kaj favorkora, Longetolerema kaj tre bona kaj verama.
16O turn unto me, and be gracious unto me; give Thy strength unto Thy servant, and save the son of Thy handmaid.
16Turnu Vin al mi kaj korfavoru min, Donu Vian forton al Via sklavo, Kaj helpu la filon de Via sklavino.
17Work in my behalf a sign for good; that they that hate me may see it, and be put to shame, because Thou, LORD, hast helped me, and comforted me.
17Faru super mi signon por bono, Por ke miaj malamantoj vidu kaj hontiĝu, Ĉar Vi, ho Eternulo, min helpos kaj konsolos.
