1(89-1) Maschil of Ethan the Ezrahite. (89-2) I will sing of the mercies of the LORD for ever; to all generations will I make known Thy faithfulness with my mouth.
1La favorfarojn de la Eternulo mi kantos eterne; De generacio al generacio mi sciigos Vian fidelecon per mia buŝo.
2(89-3) For I have said: 'For ever is mercy built; in the very heavens Thou dost establish Thy faithfulness.
2Ĉar mi diris: Por eterne estas fundamentita la boneco, En la ĉielo estas fortikigita Via fideleco.
3(89-4) I have made a covenant with My chosen, I have sworn unto David My servant:
3Mi faris interligon kun Mia elektito. Mi ĵuris al David, Mia sklavo:
4(89-5) For ever will I establish thy seed, and build up thy throne to all generations.' Selah
4Por eterne Mi fortikigos vian semon, Kaj Mi konstruis vian tronon por ĉiuj generacioj. Sela.
5(89-6) So shall the heavens praise Thy wonders, O LORD, Thy faithfulness also in the assembly of the holy ones.
5Kaj la ĉielo gloras Viajn miraklojn, ho Eternulo, Kaj Vian fidelecon en la anaro de la sanktuloj.
6(89-7) For who in the skies can be compared unto the LORD, who among the sons of might can be likened unto the LORD,
6Ĉar kiu en la ĉielo estas egala al la Eternulo? Kiu estas simila al la Eternulo inter la potenculoj?
7(89-8) A God dreaded in the great council of the holy ones, and feared of all them that are about Him?
7Dio estas potenca en la anaro de la sanktuloj, Kaj timinda por ĉiuj, kiuj Lin ĉirkaŭas.
8(89-9) O LORD God of hosts, who is a mighty one, like unto Thee, O LORD? And Thy faithfulness is round about Thee.
8Ho Eternulo, Dio Cebaot, Kiu estas potenca kiel Vi, ho Eternulo? Kaj Via fideleco estas en ĉio, kio Vin ĉirkaŭas.
9(89-10) Thou rulest the proud swelling of the sea; when the waves thereof arise, Thou stillest them.
9Vi regas la malkvietecon de la maro; Kiam leviĝas ĝiaj ondoj, Vi ilin kvietigas.
10(89-11) Thou didst crush Rahab, as one that is slain; Thou didst scatter Thine enemies with the arm of Thy strength.
10Vi faligis Rahabon, kiel mortigiton; Per Via forta brako Vi diskurigis Viajn malamikojn.
11(89-12) Thine are the heavens, Thine also the earth; the world and the fulness thereof, Thou hast founded them.
11Al Vi apartenas la ĉielo, kaj ankaŭ al Vi apartenas la tero; La universon, kaj ĉion, kio ĝin plenigas, Vi fondis.
12(89-13) The north and the south, Thou hast created them; Tabor and Hermon rejoice in Thy name.
12La nordon kaj la sudon Vi kreis; Tabor kaj Ĥermon prikantas Vian nomon.
13(89-14) Thine is an arm with might; strong is Thy hand, and exalted is Thy right hand.
13Vi havas brakon kun forto; Potenca estas Via mano, alta estas Via dekstra.
14(89-15) Righteousness and justice are the foundation of Thy throne; mercy and truth go before Thee.
14Virto kaj justeco estas la fundamento de Via trono; Boneco kaj vero iras antaŭ Via vizaĝo.
15(89-16) Happy is the people that know the joyful shout; they walk, O LORD, in the light of Thy countenance.
15Feliĉa estas la popolo, kiu konas trumpetadon; Ho Eternulo, en la lumo de Via vizaĝo ili marŝas;
16(89-17) In Thy name do they rejoice all the day; and through Thy righteousness are they exalted.
16Pro Via nomo ili ĝojas la tutan tagon, Kaj ili fieras pro Via justeco.
17(89-18) For Thou art the glory of their strength; and in Thy favour our horn is exalted.
17Ĉar Vi estas la beleco de ilia forto; Kaj pro Via favoro altiĝas nia korno.
18(89-19) For of the LORD is our shield; and the Holy One of Israel is our king.
18Ĉar de la Eternulo estas nia ŝildo, Kaj de la Sanktulo de Izrael estas nia reĝo.
19(89-20) Then Thou spokest in vision to Thy godly ones, and saidst: 'I have laid help upon one that is mighty; I have exalted one chosen out of the people.
19Tiam Vi parolis en vizio al Viaj fideluloj, Kaj Vi diris: Mi sendis helpon al heroo, Mi altigis elektiton el la popolo.
20(89-21) I have found David My servant; with My holy oil have I anointed him;
20Mi trovis Davidon, Mian sklavon, Per Mia sankta oleo Mi lin ŝmiris.
21(89-22) With whom My hand shall be established; Mine arm also shall strengthen him.
21Mia mano lin subtenos, Kaj Mia brako lin fortikigos.
22(89-23) The enemy shall not exact from him; nor the son of wickedness afflict him.
22Ne venkos lin malamiko, Kaj malbonagulo lin ne premos.
23(89-24) And I will beat to pieces his adversaries before him, and smite them that hate him.
23Kaj Mi disbatos antaŭ lia vizaĝo liajn malamikojn, Kaj liajn malamantojn Mi frapos.
24(89-25) But My faithfulness and My mercy shall be with him; and through My name shall his horn be exalted.
24Kaj Mia fideleco kaj Mia favoro estas kun li; Kaj per Mia nomo altiĝos lia korno.
25(89-26) I will set his hand also on the sea, and his right hand on the rivers.
25Kaj Mi etendos super la maron lian brakon Kaj super la riverojn lian dekstran manon.
26(89-27) He shall call unto Me: Thou art my Father, my God, and the rock of my salvation.
26Li vokos Min: Vi estas mia patro, Mia Dio, kaj la roko de mia savo.
27(89-28) I also will appoint him first-born, the highest of the kings of the earth.
27Kaj Mi faros lin unuenaskito, Ĉefo super la reĝoj de la tero.
28(89-29) For ever will I keep for him My mercy, and My covenant shall stand fast with him.
28Por ĉiam Mi konservos al li Mian favoron; Kaj Mia interligo kun li estos fidela.
29(89-30) His seed also will I make to endure for ever, and his throne as the days of heaven.
29Kaj lian semon Mi faros eterna, Kaj lian tronon longedaŭra kiel la ĉielo.
30(89-31) If his children forsake My law, and walk not in Mine ordinances;
30Se liaj filoj forlasos Mian instruon Kaj ne iros laŭ Miaj leĝoj;
31(89-32) If they profane My statutes, and keep not My commandments;
31Se Miajn decidojn ili malplenumos Kaj Miajn ordonojn ili ne observos:
32(89-33) Then will I visit their transgression with the rod, and their iniquity with strokes.
32Tiam Mi per bastono punos ilian pekon Kaj per batoj ilian krimon;
33(89-34) But My mercy will I not break off from him, nor will I be false to My faithfulness.
33Sed Mian favoron Mi ne forprenos de li, Kaj Mian fidelecon Mi ne perfidos;
34(89-35) My covenant will I not profane, nor alter that which is gone out of My lips.
34Mi ne malplenumos Mian interligon, Kaj tion, kio eliris el Mia buŝo, Mi ne ŝanĝos.
35(89-36) Once have I sworn by My holiness: Surely I will not be false unto David;
35Unu aferon Mi ĵuris per Mia sankteco: Mi ne perfidos al David;
36(89-37) His seed shall endure for ever, and his throne as the sun before Me.
36Lia semo estos eterna, Kaj lia trono estos kiel la suno antaŭ Mi.
37(89-38) It shall be established for ever as the moon; and be stedfast as the witness in sky.' Selah
37Kiel la luno, ĝi staros eterne, Kaj kiel la atestulo en la ĉielo ĝi estos fidinda. Sela.
38(89-39) But Thou hast cast off and rejected, Thou hast been wroth with Thine anointed.
38Sed nun Vi forpuŝis kaj malestimis, Vi koleris Vian sanktoleiton.
39(89-40) Thou hast abhorred the covenant of Thy servant; Thou hast profaned his crown even to the ground.
39Vi disigis la interligon kun Via sklavo, Ĵetis sur la teron lian kronon.
40(89-41) Thou hast broken down all his fences; Thou hast brought his strongholds to ruin.
40Vi detruis ĉiujn liajn barilojn, Ruinigis liajn fortikaĵojn.
41(89-42) All that pass by the way spoil him; he is become a taunt to his neighbours.
41Prirabas lin ĉiuj pasantoj; Li fariĝis mokataĵo por siaj najbaroj.
42(89-43) Thou hast exalted the right hand of his adversaries; Thou hast made all his enemies to rejoice.
42Vi altigis la dekstran manon de liaj malamikoj, Vi ĝojigis ĉiujn liajn kontraŭulojn.
43(89-44) Yea, Thou turnest back the edge of his sword, and hast not made him to stand in the battle.
43Vi returnis la tranĉon de lia glavo, Kaj ne subtenis lin en la milito.
44(89-45) Thou hast made his brightness to cease, and cast his throne down to the ground.
44Vi forigis lian brilon, Kaj lian tronon Vi ĵetis sur la teron.
45(89-46) The days of his youth hast Thou shortened; Thou hast covered him with shame. Selah
45Vi mallongigis la tagojn de lia juneco, Vi kovris lin per honto. Sela.
46(89-47) How long, O LORD, wilt Thou hide Thyself for ever? How long shall Thy wrath burn like fire?
46Ĝis kiam, ho Eternulo, Vi kaŝos Vin senĉese Kaj Via kolerego brulos kiel fajro?
47(89-48) O remember how short my time is; for what vanity hast Thou created all the children of men!
47Ho, rememoru, kia estas la daŭro de mia vivo, Por kia vantaĵo Vi kreis ĉiujn homidojn.
48(89-49) What man is he that liveth and shall not see death, that shall deliver his soul from the power of the grave? Selah
48Kiu homo vivas kaj neniam vidos morton, Savos sian animon de la mano de Ŝeol? Sela.
49(89-50) Where are Thy former mercies, O Lord, which Thou didst swear unto David in Thy faithfulness?
49Kie estas Viaj antaŭaj favorfaroj, mia Sinjoro, Pri kiuj Vi ĵuris al David per Via fideleco?
50(89-51) Remember, Lord, the taunt of Thy servants; how I do bear in my bosom the taunt of so many peoples;
50Rememoru, mia Sinjoro, la malhonoron de Viaj sklavoj, Kiun mi portas en mia brusto de ĉiuj multaj popoloj,
51(89-52) Wherewith Thine enemies have taunted, O LORD, wherewith they have taunted the footsteps of Thine anointed.
51Kaj per kiu malhonoras Viaj malamikoj, ho Eternulo, Per kiu ili malhonoras la paŝosignojn de Via sanktoleito.
52(89-53) Blessed be the LORD for evermore. Amen, and Amen.
52Glorata estu la Eternulo eterne. Amen, kaj Amen!
