1(89-1) Maschil of Ethan the Ezrahite. (89-2) I will sing of the mercies of the LORD for ever; to all generations will I make known Thy faithfulness with my mouth.
1O LEUM GOD , nga ac fah onkakin lungse kawil lom pacl e nukewa. Nga ac fah fahkak oaru lom nwe tok.
2(89-3) For I have said: 'For ever is mercy built; in the very heavens Thou dost establish Thy faithfulness.
2Nga etu lah wangin saflaiyen lungse lom, Ac oaru lom oakwuki ku, oana kusrao.
3(89-4) I have made a covenant with My chosen, I have sworn unto David My servant:
3Kom fahk, “Nga orala sie wulela inmasrlok ac sie su nga sulela. Pa inge ma nga tuh wulela nu sel David, mwet kulansap luk:
4(89-5) For ever will I establish thy seed, and build up thy throne to all generations.' Selah
4‘Sie sin mwet in fwil nutum ac fah tokosra in pacl nukewa; Nga fah oakiya tuh tokosrai lom in oan nwe tok.’”
5(89-6) So shall the heavens praise Thy wonders, O LORD, Thy faithfulness also in the assembly of the holy ones.
5Kusrao onkakin ma wolana kom oru, Elos su mutal fah onkakin oaru lom, LEUM GOD .
6(89-7) For who in the skies can be compared unto the LORD, who among the sons of might can be likened unto the LORD,
6Wangin sie inkusrao oana kom, O LEUM GOD ; Wangin inmasrlon mwet inkusrao ku in lumweyuk nu sum.
7(89-8) A God dreaded in the great council of the holy ones, and feared of all them that are about Him?
7Inmasrlon u mutal lom, elos sangeng sum; Elos nukewa pasrla ye motom.
8(89-9) O LORD God of hosts, who is a mighty one, like unto Thee, O LORD? And Thy faithfulness is round about Thee.
8LEUM GOD Kulana, wangin sie su ku oana kom, Tuh kom oaru in ma nukewa, O LEUM GOD .
9(89-10) Thou rulest the proud swelling of the sea; when the waves thereof arise, Thou stillest them.
9Kom leum fin ku lun meoa, Kom akmisye noa lulap we.
10(89-11) Thou didst crush Rahab, as one that is slain; Thou didst scatter Thine enemies with the arm of Thy strength.
10Kom itungya kosro lulap Rahab, ac unilya; Ke ku lulap lom kom kutangla mwet lokoalok lom.
11(89-12) Thine are the heavens, Thine also the earth; the world and the fulness thereof, Thou hast founded them.
11Kusrao ac faclu ma lom, Kom orala faclu ac ma nukewa loac.
12(89-13) The north and the south, Thou hast created them; Tabor and Hermon rejoice in Thy name.
12Kom orala epang ac eir, Fineol Tabor ac Fineol Hermon on nu sum ke engan.
13(89-14) Thine is an arm with might; strong is Thy hand, and exalted is Thy right hand.
13Fuka lupan ku lom! Fuka pwengpengiyen ku lulap lom!
14(89-15) Righteousness and justice are the foundation of Thy throne; mercy and truth go before Thee.
14Tokosrai lom oakwuk fin suwoswos ac nununku pwaye, Lungse ac oaru akkalemyeyuk in ma nukewa kom oru.
15(89-16) Happy is the people that know the joyful shout; they walk, O LORD, in the light of Thy countenance.
15Fuka lupan insewowo lalos su alu nu sum ke on, Su moul ke kalmen kulang lom!
16(89-17) In Thy name do they rejoice all the day; and through Thy righteousness are they exalted.
16Ke sripom elos engan ke len nufon, Ac elos kaksakin kom ke wolana lom.
17(89-18) For Thou art the glory of their strength; and in Thy favour our horn is exalted.
17Kom ase kutangla yohk nu sesr, Ac ke lungse lom kom oru tuh kut in kutangla.
18(89-19) For of the LORD is our shield; and the Holy One of Israel is our king.
18Kom, O LEUM GOD , kom sulela mwet in loangekut; Ac kom, God Mutal lun Israel, ase tokosra lasr.
19(89-20) Then Thou spokest in vision to Thy godly ones, and saidst: 'I have laid help upon one that is mighty; I have exalted one chosen out of the people.
19Kom kaskas nu sin mwet kulansap oaru lom in sie aruruma in pacl meet ah, ac fahk, “Nga sang kasru nu sin sie mwet mweun pwengpeng, Nga akleumye sie su nga sulela liki inmasrlon mwet uh.
20(89-21) I have found David My servant; with My holy oil have I anointed him;
20Nga oru tuh David, mwet kulansap luk, elan tokosra Ke nga mosrwella ke mwe akmusra mutal.
21(89-22) With whom My hand shall be established; Mine arm also shall strengthen him.
21Ku luk fah welul pacl e nukewa, Ac ku luk fah oru elan ku.
22(89-23) The enemy shall not exact from him; nor the son of wickedness afflict him.
22Mwet lokoalok lal fah tia kutangulla, Ac mwet koluk fah tia ku facl.
23(89-24) And I will beat to pieces his adversaries before him, and smite them that hate him.
23Nga ac fah itungya mwet lokoalok lal Ac onelosi nukewa su srungal.
24(89-25) But My faithfulness and My mercy shall be with him; and through My name shall his horn be exalted.
24Nga ac fah lungse el ac pwaye nu sel, Nga ac fah oru tuh elan ku fin mwet lokoalok lal pacl e nukewa.
25(89-26) I will set his hand also on the sea, and his right hand on the rivers.
25Nga ac fah tafwela tokosrai lal, Mutawauk Meoa Mediterranean lac nwe Infacl Euphrates.
26(89-27) He shall call unto Me: Thou art my Father, my God, and the rock of my salvation.
26David el ac fah fahk nu sik, ‘Kom papa tumuk ac God luk, Kom eot ku luk ac lango luk.’
27(89-28) I also will appoint him first-born, the highest of the kings of the earth.
27Nga fah oayapa oru tuh elan wounse mukul nutik, El pa fulat liki tokosra nukewa.
28(89-29) For ever will I keep for him My mercy, and My covenant shall stand fast with him.
28Nga fah karingin wuleang luk nu sel, Ac wulela luk fah welul nwe tok.
29(89-30) His seed also will I make to endure for ever, and his throne as the days of heaven.
29Tokosrai lal ac fah oakwuki ku oana kusrao. Sie sin mwet in fwil natul ac fah tokosra in pacl nukewa.
30(89-31) If his children forsake My law, and walk not in Mine ordinances;
30“Tusruktu, mwet in fwil natul fin tia akos ma sap luk, Ac tia moul fal nu ke oakwuk luk,
31(89-32) If they profane My statutes, and keep not My commandments;
31Elos fin seakos mwe luti luk Ac tia karingin ma sap luk,
32(89-33) Then will I visit their transgression with the rod, and their iniquity with strokes.
32Na nga ac fah srunglulos ke sripen ma koluk lalos; Nga ac fah akkeokyalos ke ma sutuu lalos.
33(89-34) But My mercy will I not break off from him, nor will I be false to My faithfulness.
33Tusruktu, lungse luk nu sel David ac fah tia tui, Oayapa nga fah tia mulkunla wulela luk nu sel.
34(89-35) My covenant will I not profane, nor alter that which is gone out of My lips.
34Nga ac fah tiana kunausla wulela inmasrlok el, Ku sisla siefanna ma nga tuh wuleang nu sel.
35(89-36) Once have I sworn by My holiness: Surely I will not be false unto David;
35“Wulela sefanna nga fah orala ke Inek: Nga fah tiana kikiap nu sel David.
36(89-37) His seed shall endure for ever, and his throne as the sun before Me.
36Ac fah oasr na fwil natul, Ac nga fah karingin tokosrai lal ke lusenna pacl faht uh kalem.
37(89-38) It shall be established for ever as the moon; and be stedfast as the witness in sky.' Selah
37Ac fah sie ma oakwuk oana malem uh Su liye ma nukewa inkusrao me.”
38(89-39) But Thou hast cast off and rejected, Thou hast been wroth with Thine anointed.
38Tuh pa inge kom kasrkusrak sin tokosra su kom sulela; Kom fahsr lukel ac sisella.
39(89-40) Thou hast abhorred the covenant of Thy servant; Thou hast profaned his crown even to the ground.
39Kom kunausla wulela lom nu sin mwet kulansap lom Ac sisla tefuro lal nu infohk uh.
40(89-41) Thou hast broken down all his fences; Thou hast brought his strongholds to ruin.
40Kom kunausya kalkal in siti sel Ac filiya pot ku lal in musalsalu.
41(89-42) All that pass by the way spoil him; he is become a taunt to his neighbours.
41Elos nukewa su fahsr we, elos pisre ma lal, Ac mwet tulan lal nukewa elos isrunul.
42(89-43) Thou hast exalted the right hand of his adversaries; Thou hast made all his enemies to rejoice.
42Kom sang kutangla nu sin mwet lokoalok lal; Kom oru tuh elos nukewa in engan.
43(89-44) Yea, Thou turnest back the edge of his sword, and hast not made him to stand in the battle.
43Kom oru tuh in wangin sripen mwe mweun natul, Ac kom lela in kutangyukla el ke mweun uh.
44(89-45) Thou hast made his brightness to cease, and cast his throne down to the ground.
44Kom eisla scepter lal lukel Ac ikruiya tron lal nu infohk uh.
45(89-46) The days of his youth hast Thou shortened; Thou hast covered him with shame. Selah
45Kom oru tuh elan matuoh meet liki pacl fal lal, Ac afinilya ke mwekin.
46(89-47) How long, O LORD, wilt Thou hide Thyself for ever? How long shall Thy wrath burn like fire?
46O LEUM GOD , ya kom fah wikinkomla nwe tok? Putaka mulat lom uh fah firir oana sie e?
47(89-48) O remember how short my time is; for what vanity hast Thou created all the children of men!
47Esam lah moul luk arulana fototo, Esam lah kom orekutla, moul lasr in sukawil.
48(89-49) What man is he that liveth and shall not see death, that shall deliver his soul from the power of the grave? Selah

49(89-50) Where are Thy former mercies, O Lord, which Thou didst swear unto David in Thy faithfulness?
49Leum, ku pia akpwayeyen lungse lom su kom akkalemye meet ah? Pia wulela kom tuh oru nu sel David?
50(89-51) Remember, Lord, the taunt of Thy servants; how I do bear in my bosom the taunt of so many peoples;
50Nik kom mulkunla lah akkolukyeyuk nga, mwet kulansap lom, Ac nga muteng kas in selnga nukewa lun mwet pegan nu sik.
51(89-52) Wherewith Thine enemies have taunted, O LORD, wherewith they have taunted the footsteps of Thine anointed.
51Mwet lokoalok lom elos aksruksrukye tokosra su kom sulela, O LEUM GOD ! Elos akkolukyal yen nukewa el fahsr we.
52(89-53) Blessed be the LORD for evermore. Amen, and Amen.
