1For the Leader. A Psalm of David. O LORD, Thou hast searched me, and known me.
1LEUM GOD , kom liyeyu ac eteyu.
2Thou knowest my downsitting and mine uprising, Thou understandest my thought afar off.
2Kom etu ma nukewa nga oru; Kom ne muta loes likiyu, kom etu nunak luk nukewa.
3Thou measurest my going about and my lying down, and art acquainted with all my ways.
3Kom liyeyu lah nga orekma, ku nga mongla; Kom etu mukuikui luk nukewa.
4For there is not a word in my tongue, but, lo, O LORD, Thou knowest it altogether.
4Meet liki na nga kaskas, Kom etu tari lah mea nga ac fahk.
5Thou hast hemmed me in behind and before, and laid Thy hand upon me.
5Kom apinyula ke siska nukewa, Kom karinginyu ke ku lom.
6Such knowledge is too wonderful for me; too high, I cannot attain unto it.
6Etu lom keik uh arulana yohk, Yohk liki ma nga ku in kalem kac.
7Whither shall I go from Thy spirit? or whither shall I flee from Thy presence?
7Nga ac som nu ya in kaingla liki kom? Nga ac kaing nu ya liki ye motom?
8If I ascend up into heaven, Thou art there; if I make my bed in the nether-world, behold, Thou art there.
8Nga fin som nu inkusrao, kom oasr we; Nga fin ona infulan misa, kom oasr pac we.
9If I take the wings of the morning, and dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea;
9Nga finne sokla loesla liki kutulap, Ku muta yen loeslana nu roto,
10Even there would Thy hand lead me, and Thy right hand would hold me.
10Kom ac oasr pac we in pwenyu, Kom ac oasr pa ingo in kasreyu.
11And if I say: 'Surely the darkness shall envelop me, and the light about me shall be night';
11Nga ku in siyuk lohsr uh in wikinyula Ku kalem su rauniyula in ekla nu ke fong,
12Even the darkness is not too dark for Thee, but the night shineth as the day; the darkness is even as the light.
12Tusruktu, lohsr uh el tia lohsr nu sum, Ac fong uh arulana kalem nu sum, oana len. Lohsr ac kalem oana sie nu sum.
13For Thou hast made my reins; Thou hast knit me together in my mother's womb.
13Kom lumahla ip nukewa ke monuk; Kom oakiyuwi insien nina kiuk.
14I will give thanks unto Thee, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made; wonderful are Thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well.
14Nga kaksakin kom mweyen fal mwet uh in sangeng sum. Ma nukewa kom oru, usrnguk ac wolana, Nga etu ouinge ke insiuk nufon.
15My frame was not hidden from Thee, when I was made in secret, and curiously wrought in the lowest parts of the earth.
15Ke mutawauk in lumweyuk sri keik uh, Ac oakiyuki wo insien nina kiuk, Ke nga kapkapak ingo in lukma, Kom nuna etu lah nga oasr we.
16Thine eyes did see mine unformed substance, and in Thy book they were all written — even the days that were fashioned, when as yet there was none of them.
16Kom tuh liyeyu meet liki nga isusla. Pisen len ma oakiyuki nu sik tuh nga in moul Simla tari in book nutum Meet liki na kais sie ma inge mutawauk.
17How weighty also are Thy thoughts unto me, O God! How great is the sum of them!
17O God, arulana pus nunak lom, Ac arulana upa nu sik in kalem kac.
18If I would count them, they are more in number than the sand; were I to come to the end of them, I would still be with Thee.
18Nga fin oek, pisalos ac pus liki puk uh. Ke nga ngutalik, nga srakna muta yurum.
19If Thou but wouldest slay the wicked, O God — depart from me therefore, ye men of blood;
19O God, nga kena tuh kom in uniya mwet koluk! Nga arulana kena tuh mwet sulallal in fahsr likiyu.
20Who utter Thy name with wicked thought, they take it for falsehood, even Thine enemies —
20Elos fahk ma koluk keim; Elos fahk kas na koluk lain Inem.
21Do not I hate them, O LORD, that hate Thee? And do not I strive with those that rise up against Thee?
21O LEUM GOD , nga arulana srungalos su srungakom! Nga kwaselos su tuyak lain Kom.
22I hate them with utmost hatred; I count them mine enemies.
22Nga srungalos na pwaye; Nga oakalos mwet lokoalok luk.
23Search me, O God, and know my heart, try me, and know my thoughts;
23Liyeyu, O God, ac etu insiuk; Srikeyu, ac konauk nunak luk.
24And see if there be any way in me that is grievous, and lead me in the way everlasting.
24Suk lah oasr kutena ma sufal in nga Ac kolyu ke inkanek kawil nu tok.
