1O give thanks unto the LORD, call upon His name; make known His doings among the peoples.
1Gloru la Eternulon, voku Lian nomon; Sciigu inter la popoloj Liajn farojn.
2Sing unto Him, sing praises unto Him; speak ye of all His marvellous works.
2Kantu al Li, muziku al Li; Parolu pri ĉiuj Liaj mirakloj.
3Glory ye in His holy name; let the heart of them rejoice that seek the LORD.
3Laŭdu Lian sanktan nomon; Ĝoju la koro de tiuj, kiuj serĉas la Eternulon.
4Seek ye the LORD and His strength; seek His face continually.
4Turnu vin al la Eternulo kaj al Lia potenco; Serĉu ĉiam Lian vizaĝon.
5Remember His marvellous works that He hath done, His wonders, and the judgments of His mouth;
5Memoru Liajn miraklojn, kiujn Li faris, Liajn signomiraklojn kaj la juĝojn de Lia buŝo;
6O ye seed of Abraham His servant, ye children of Jacob, His chosen ones.
6Vi, semo de Abraham, Lia sklavo, Filoj de Jakob, Liaj elektitoj.
7He is the LORD our God; His judgments are in all the earth.
7Li estas la Eternulo, nia Dio; Sur la tuta tero estas Liaj juĝoj.
8He hath remembered His covenant for ever, the word which He commanded to a thousand generations;
8Li memoras eterne Sian interligon, La vorton, kiun Li testamentis por mil generacioj,
9The covenant which He made with Abraham, and His oath unto Isaac;
9Kiun Li interkonsentis kun Abraham Kaj ĵuris al Isaak.
10And He established it unto Jacob for a statute, to Israel for an everlasting covenant;
10Li metis ĝin por Jakob kiel leĝon, Por Izrael kiel eternan interligon,
11Saying: 'Unto thee will I give the land of Canaan, the lot of your inheritance.'

12When they were but a few men in number. Yea, very few, and sojourners in it,
12Kiam ili estis malgrandnombraj, Malmultaj, kaj fremduloj en ĝi,
13And when they went about from nation to nation, from one kingdom to another people,
13Kaj ili iradis de popolo al popolo, El unu regno al alia gento,
14He suffered no man to do them wrong, yea, for their sake He reproved kings:
14Tiam Li al neniu permesis premi ilin, Kaj Li punis pro ili reĝojn, dirante:
15'Touch not Mine anointed ones, and do My prophets no harm.'
15Ne tuŝu Miajn sanktoleitojn, Kaj al Miaj profetoj ne faru malbonon.
16And He called a famine upon the land; He broke the whole staff of bread.
16Kaj Li sendis malsaton en la landon, Rompis ĉion, kio portis panon.
17He sent a man before them; Joseph was sold for a servant;
17Li sendis antaŭ ili homon: Jozef estis vendita kiel sklavo.
18His feet they hurt with fetters, his person was laid in iron;
18Oni enpremis liajn piedojn en katenojn, Fero ŝarĝis lian korpon,
19Until the time that his word came to pass, the word of the LORD tested him.
19Ĝis la tempo, kiam venis Lia vorto; La parolo de la Eternulo lin elprovis.
20The king sent and loosed him; even the ruler of the peoples, and set him free.
20Reĝo sendis kaj malligis lin, Reganto super popoloj liberigis lin;
21He made him lord of his house, and ruler of all his possessions;
21Li faris lin sinjoro super lia domo Kaj reganto super lia tuta havo,
22To bind his princes at his pleasure, and teach his elders wisdom.
22Ke li submetu al si liajn eminentulojn Kaj saĝigu liajn maljunulojn.
23Israel also came into Egypt; and Jacob sojourned in the land of Ham.
23Kaj Izrael venis en Egiptujon, Kaj Jakob enmigris en la landon de Ĥam.
24And He increased His people greatly, and made them too mighty for their adversaries.
24Kaj Li tre kreskigis Sian popolon, Kaj faris ĝin pli forta ol ĝiaj malamikoj.
25He turned their heart to hate His people, to deal craftily with His servants.
25Li malĝustigis ilian koron, Ke ili ekmalamis Lian popolon, ekruzis kontraŭ Liaj sklavoj.
26He sent Moses His servant, and Aaron whom He had chosen.
26Li sendis Moseon, Sian sklavon, Kaj Aaronon, kiun Li elektis.
27They wrought among them His manifold signs, and wonders in the land of Ham.
27Ili faris inter ili Liajn pruvosignojn Kaj miraklojn en la lando de Ĥam.
28He sent darkness, and it was dark; and they rebelled not against His word.
28Li sendis mallumon kaj mallumigis; Kaj ili ne atentis Liajn vortojn.
29He turned their waters into blood, and slew their fish.
29Li ŝanĝis ilian akvon en sangon, Kaj senvivigis iliajn fiŝojn.
30Their land swarmed with frogs, in the chambers of their kings.
30Ilia tero eksvarmigis ranojn, En la ĉambroj de iliaj reĝoj.
31He spoke, and there came swarms of flies, and gnats in all their borders.
31Li diris, kaj venis fiinsektoj, Pedikoj en ĉiuj iliaj regionoj.
32He gave them hail for rain, and flaming fire in their land.
32Antataŭ pluvo Li donis al ili hajlon, Flamantan fajron en ilia lando.
33He smote their vines also and their fig-trees; and broke the trees of their borders.
33Li batis iliajn vinbertrunkojn kaj iliajn figarbojn, Kaj rompis la arbojn en iliaj limoj.
34He spoke, and the locust came, and the canker-worm without number,
34Li diris, kaj venis akridoj kaj skaraboj sennombraj
35And did eat up every herb in their land, and did eat up the fruit of their ground.
35Kaj formanĝis la tutan herbon en ilia lando Kaj formanĝis la produktojn de ilia tero.
36He smote also all the first-born in their land, the first-fruits of all their strength.
36Kaj Li mortigis ĉiujn unuenaskitojn en ilia lando, La komencaĵojn de ĉiuj iliaj fortoj.
37And He brought them forth with silver and gold; and there was none that stumbled among His tribes.
37Sed ilin Li elkondukis kun arĝento kaj oro, Kaj en iliaj triboj estis neniu kadukulo.
38Egypt was glad when they departed; for the fear of them had fallen upon them.
38Ĝojis Egiptujo, kiam ili eliris, Ĉar atakis ĝin timo antaŭ ili.
39He spread a cloud for a screen; and fire to give light in the night.
39Li etendis nubon, kiel kovron; Kaj fajron, por ke ĝi lumu en la nokto.
40They asked, and He brought quails, and gave them in plenty the bread of heaven.
40Ili petis, kaj Li sendis koturnojn, Kaj per pano ĉiela Li ilin satigis.
41He opened the rock, and waters gushed out; they ran, a river in the dry places.
41Li malfermis rokon, Kaj ekfluis akvo kaj ekiris kiel rivero en la dezerto.
42For He remembered His holy word unto Abraham His servant;
42Ĉar Li memoris Sian sanktan vorton Al Abraham, Sia sklavo.
43And He brought forth His people with joy, His chosen ones with singing.
43Kaj Li elkondukis Sian popolon en ĝojo, Siajn elektitojn kun kantado.
44And He gave them the lands of the nations, and they took the labour of the peoples in possession;
44Kaj Li donis al ili la landojn de popoloj, Kaj la laboron de gentoj ili heredis;
45That they might keep His statutes, and observe His laws. Hallelujah.
45Por ke ili plenumu Liajn leĝojn Kaj konservu Liajn instruojn. Haleluja!
