1O give thanks unto the LORD, call upon His name; make known His doings among the peoples.
1یهوه را حمد گویید و نام او رابخوانید. اعمال او را در میان قوم هااعلام نمایید.
2Sing unto Him, sing praises unto Him; speak ye of all His marvellous works.
2او را بسرایید برای او تسبیح بخوانید. در تمام کارهای عجیب او تفکر نمایید.
3Glory ye in His holy name; let the heart of them rejoice that seek the LORD.
3در نام قدوس او فخر کنید. دل طالبان خداوندشادمان باشد.
4Seek ye the LORD and His strength; seek His face continually.
4خداوند و قوت او را بطلبید. روی او را پیوسته طالب باشید.
5Remember His marvellous works that He hath done, His wonders, and the judgments of His mouth;
5کارهای عجیب را که او کرده است به یاد آورید. آیات او و داوریهای دهان او را.
6O ye seed of Abraham His servant, ye children of Jacob, His chosen ones.
6ای ذریت بنده او ابراهیم! ای فرزندان یعقوب، برگزیده او!
7He is the LORD our God; His judgments are in all the earth.
7یهوه خدای ماست. داوریهای او در تمامی جهان است.
8He hath remembered His covenant for ever, the word which He commanded to a thousand generations;
8عهد خود رایاد می‌دارد تا ابدالاباد و کلامی را که بر هزاران پشت فرموده است.
9The covenant which He made with Abraham, and His oath unto Isaac;
9آن عهدی را که با ابراهیم بسته و قسمی را که برای اسحاق خورده است.
10And He established it unto Jacob for a statute, to Israel for an everlasting covenant;
10و آن را برای یعقوب فریضه‌ای استوار ساخت و برای اسرائیل عهد جاودانی.
11Saying: 'Unto thee will I give the land of Canaan, the lot of your inheritance.'
11و گفت که زمین کنعان را به تو خواهم داد تا حصه میراث شماشود.
12When they were but a few men in number. Yea, very few, and sojourners in it,
12هنگامی که عددی معدود بودند، قلیل العدد و غربا در آنجا.
13And when they went about from nation to nation, from one kingdom to another people,
13و از امتی تا امتی سرگردان می‌بودند و از یک مملکت تا قوم دیگر.
14He suffered no man to do them wrong, yea, for their sake He reproved kings:
14او نگذاشت که کسی بر ایشان ظلم کند بلکه پادشاهان را به‌خاطر ایشان توبیخ نمود
15'Touch not Mine anointed ones, and do My prophets no harm.'
15که بر مسیحان من دست مگذارید. و انبیای مرا ضررمرسانید.
16And He called a famine upon the land; He broke the whole staff of bread.
16پس قحطی را بر آن زمین خواند وتمامی قوام نان را شکست،
17He sent a man before them; Joseph was sold for a servant;
17و مردی پیش روی ایشان فرستاد، یعنی یوسف را که او را به غلامی فروختند.
18His feet they hurt with fetters, his person was laid in iron;
18پایهای وی را به زنجیرها خستند وجان او در آهن بسته شد
19Until the time that his word came to pass, the word of the LORD tested him.
19تا وقتی که سخن اوواقع شد. و کلام خداوند او را امتحان نمود.
20The king sent and loosed him; even the ruler of the peoples, and set him free.
20آنگاه پادشاه فرستاده، بندهای او را گشاد وسلطان قوم‌ها او را آزاد ساخت.
21He made him lord of his house, and ruler of all his possessions;
21او را بر خانه خود حاکم قرار داد و مختار بر تمام مایملک خویش.
22To bind his princes at his pleasure, and teach his elders wisdom.
22تا به اراده خود سروران او را بند نمایدو مشایخ او را حکمت آموزد.
23Israel also came into Egypt; and Jacob sojourned in the land of Ham.
23پس اسرائیل به مصر درآمدند و یعقوب درزمین حام غربت پذیرفت.
24And He increased His people greatly, and made them too mighty for their adversaries.
24و او قوم خود را به غایت بارور گردانید و ایشان را از دشمنان ایشان قوی تر ساخت.
25He turned their heart to hate His people, to deal craftily with His servants.
25لیکن دل ایشان را برگردانید تابر قوم او کینه ورزند و بر بندگان وی حیله نمایند.
26He sent Moses His servant, and Aaron whom He had chosen.
26بنده خود موسی را فرستاد و هارون را که برگزیده بود.
27They wrought among them His manifold signs, and wonders in the land of Ham.
27کلمات و آیات او را در میان ایشان اقامه کردند و عجایب او را در زمین حام.
28He sent darkness, and it was dark; and they rebelled not against His word.
28ظلمت را فرستاد که تاریک گردید. پس به کلام او مخالفت نورزیدند.
29He turned their waters into blood, and slew their fish.
29آبهای ایشان را به خون مبدل ساخت و ماهیان ایشان را میرانید.
30Their land swarmed with frogs, in the chambers of their kings.
30زمین ایشان غوکها را به ازدحام پیدا نمود، حتی درحرمهای پادشاهان ایشان.
31He spoke, and there came swarms of flies, and gnats in all their borders.
31او گفت و انواع مگسها پدید آمد و پشه هادر همه حدود ایشان.
32He gave them hail for rain, and flaming fire in their land.
32تگرگ را به عوض باران بارانید و آتش مشتعل را در زمین ایشان.
33He smote their vines also and their fig-trees; and broke the trees of their borders.
33موهاو انجیرهای ایشان را زد و درختان محال ایشان رابشکست.
34He spoke, and the locust came, and the canker-worm without number,
34او گفت و ملخ پدید آمد و کرمها ازحد شماره افزون.
35And did eat up every herb in their land, and did eat up the fruit of their ground.
35و هر سهم را در زمین ایشان بخوردند و میوه های زمین ایشان را خوردند.
36He smote also all the first-born in their land, the first-fruits of all their strength.
36وجمیع نخست زادگان را در زمین ایشان زد، اوائل تمامی قوت ایشان را.
37And He brought them forth with silver and gold; and there was none that stumbled among His tribes.
37و ایشان را با طلا و نقره بیرون آورد که در اسباط ایشان یکی ضعیف نبود.
38Egypt was glad when they departed; for the fear of them had fallen upon them.
38مصریان از بیرون رفتن ایشان شاد بودند زیرا که خوف ایشان بر آنها مستولی گردیده بود.
39He spread a cloud for a screen; and fire to give light in the night.
39ابری برای پوشش گسترانید و آتشی که شامگاه روشنایی دهد.
40They asked, and He brought quails, and gave them in plenty the bread of heaven.
40سوال کردند پس سلوی برای ایشان فرستاد و ایشان را از نان آسمان سیرگردانید.
41He opened the rock, and waters gushed out; they ran, a river in the dry places.
41صخره را بشکافت و آب جاری شد؛ در جایهای خشک مثل نهر روان گردید.
42For He remembered His holy word unto Abraham His servant;
42زیراکلام مقدس خود را به یاد آورد و بنده خویش ابراهیم را.
43And He brought forth His people with joy, His chosen ones with singing.
43و قوم خود را با شادمانی بیرون آورد و برگزیدگان خویش را با ترنم.
44And He gave them the lands of the nations, and they took the labour of the peoples in possession;
44وزمینهای امتها را بدیشان داد و زحمت قوم‌ها راوارث شدند.
45That they might keep His statutes, and observe His laws. Hallelujah.
45تا آنکه فرایض او را نگاه دارند وشریعت او را حفظ نمایند. هللویاه!
