1ALEPH. Happy are they that are upright in the way, who walk in the law of the LORD.
1خوشا‌به‌حال کاملان طریق که به شریعت خداوند سالکند.
2Happy are they that keep His testimonies, that seek Him with the whole heart.
2خوشا‌به‌حال آنانی که شهادات او را حفظ می‌کنند و به تمامی دل او را می‌طلبند.
3Yea, they do no unrighteousness; they walk in His ways.
3کج روی نیز نمی کنندو به طریق های وی سلوک می‌نمایند.
4Thou hast ordained Thy precepts, that we should observe them diligently.
4تووصایای خود را امر فرموده‌ای تا آنها را تمام نگاه داریم.
5Oh that my ways were directed to observe Thy statutes!
5کاش که راههای من مستحکم شودتا فرایض تو را حفظ کنم.
6Then should I not be ashamed, when I have regard unto all Thy commandments.
6آنگاه خجل نخواهم شد چون تمام اوامر تو را در مد نظر خود دارم.
7I will give thanks unto Thee with uprightness of heart, when I learn Thy righteous ordinances.
7تو را به راستی دل حمد خواهم گفت چون داوریهای عدالت تو را آموخته شوم.
8I will observe Thy statutes; O forsake me not utterly.
8فرایض تورا نگاه می‌دارم. مرا بالکلیه ترک منما.
9BETH. Wherewithal shall a young man keep his way pure? By taking heed thereto according to Thy word.
9به چه چیز مرد جوان راه خود را پاک می‌سازد؟ به نگاه داشتنش موافق کلام تو.
10With my whole heart have I sought Thee; O let me not err from Thy commandments.
10به تمامی دل تو را طلبیدم. مگذار که از اوامر توگمراه شوم.
11Thy word have I laid up in my heart, that I might not sin against Thee.
11کلام تو را در دل خود مخفی داشتم که مبادا به تو گناه ورزم.
12Blessed art Thou, O LORD; teach me Thy statutes.
12ای خداوند تومتبارک هستی فرایض خود را به من بیاموز.
13With my lips have I told all the ordinances of Thy mouth.
13به لب های خود بیان کردم تمامی داوری های دهان تو را.
14I have rejoiced in the way of Thy testimonies, as much as in all riches.
14در طریق شهادات تو شادمانم.
15I will meditate in Thy precepts, and have respect unto Thy ways.
15چنانکه در هر قسم توانگری، در وصایای توتفکر می‌کنم و به طریق های تو نگران خواهم بود.
16I will delight myself in Thy statutes; I will not forget Thy word.
16از فرایض تو لذت می‌برم، پس کلام تو رافراموش نخواهم کرد.
17GIMEL. Deal bountifully with Thy servant that I may live, and I will observe Thy word.
17به بنده خود احسان بنما تا زنده شوم و کلام تو را حفظ نمایم.
18Open Thou mine eyes, that I may behold wondrous things out of Thy law.
18چشمان مرا بگشا تا ازشریعت تو چیزهای عجیب بینم.
19I am a sojourner in the earth; hide not Thy commandments from me.
19من در زمین غریب هستم. اوامر خود را از من مخفی مدار.
20My soul breaketh for the longing that it hath unto Thine ordinances at all times.
20جان من شکسته می‌شود از اشتیاق داوریهای تو در هر وقت.
21Thou hast rebuked the proud that are cursed, that do err from Thy commandments.
21متکبران ملعون را توبیخ نمودی، که از اوامر تو گمراه می‌شوند.
22Take away from me reproach and contempt; for I have kept Thy testimonies.
22ننگ ورسوایی را از من بگردان، زیرا که شهادات تو راحفظ کرده‌ام.
23Even though princes sit and talk against me, thy servant doth meditate in Thy statutes.
23سروران نیز نشسته، به ضد من سخن‌گفتند. لیکن بنده تو در فرایض تو تفکرمی کند.
24Yea, Thy testimonies are my delight, they are my counsellors.
24شهادات تو نیز ابتهاج من و مشورت دهندگان من بوده‌اند.
25DALETH. My soul cleaveth unto the dust; quicken Thou me according to Thy word.
25جان من به خاک چسبیده است. مرا موافق کلام خود زنده ساز.
26I told of my ways, and Thou didst answer me; teach me Thy statutes.
26راههای خود را ذکر کردم و مرا اجابت نمودی. پس فرایض خویش را به من بیاموز.
27Make me to understand the way of Thy precepts, that I may talk of Thy wondrous works.
27طریق وصایای خود را به من بفهمان و در کارهای عجیب تو تفکر خواهم نمود.
28My soul melteth away for heaviness; sustain me according unto Thy word.
28جان من از حزن گداخته می‌شود. مرا موافق کلام خود برپا بدار.
29Remove from me the way of falsehood; and grant me Thy law graciously.
29راه دروغ را از من دور کن و شریعت خود را به من عنایت فرما.
30I have chosen the way of faithfulness; Thine ordinances have I set before me.
30طریق راستی رااختیار کردم و داوریهای تو را پیش خود گذاشتم.
31I cleave unto Thy testimonies; O LORD, put me not to shame.
31به شهادات تو چسبیدم. ای خداوند مرا خجل مساز.
32I will run the way of Thy commandments, for Thou dost enlarge my heart.
32در طریق اوامر تو دوان خواهم رفت، وقتی که دل مرا وسعت دادی.
33HE. Teach me, O LORD, the way of Thy statutes; and I will keep it at every step.
33ای خداوند طریق فرایض خود را به من بیاموز. پس آنها را تا به آخر نگاه خواهم داشت.
34Give me understanding, that I keep Thy law and observe it with my whole heart.
34مرا فهم بده و شریعت تو را نگاه خواهم داشت و آن را به تمامی دل خود حفظ خواهم نمود.
35Make me to tread in the path of Thy commandments; for therein do I delight.
35مرا در سبیل اوامر خود سالک گردان زیرا که درآن رغبت دارم.
36Incline my heart unto Thy testimonies, and not to covetousness.
36دل مرا به شهادات خود مایل گردان و نه به سوی طمع.
37Turn away mine eyes from beholding vanity, and quicken me in Thy ways.
37چشمانم را از دیدن بطالت برگردان و در طریق خود مرا زنده ساز.
38Confirm Thy word unto Thy servant, which pertaineth unto the fear of Thee.
38کلام خود را بر بنده خویش استوار کن، که به ترس تو سپرده شده است.
39Turn away my reproach which I dread; for Thine ordinances are good.
39ننگ مرا که از آن می‌ترسم از من دور کن زیرا که داوریهای تو نیکواست.
40Behold, I have longed after Thy precepts; quicken me in Thy righteousness.
40هان به وصایای تو اشتیاق دارم. به حسب عدالت خود مرا زنده ساز.
41VAV. Let Thy mercies also come unto me, O LORD, even Thy salvation, according to Thy word;
41ای خداوند رحمهای تو به من برسد ونجات تو به حسب کلام تو.
42That I may have an answer for him that taunteth me; for I trust in Thy word.
42تا بتوانم ملامت کننده خود را جواب دهم زیرا بر کلام تو توکل دارم.
43And take not the word of truth utterly out of my mouth; for I hope in Thine ordinances;
43و کلام راستی را از دهانم بالکل مگیرزیرا که به داوریهای تو امیدوارم
44So shall I observe Thy law continually for ever and ever;
44و شریعت تورا دائم نگاه خواهم داشت تا ابدالاباد.
45And I will walk at ease, for I have sought Thy precepts;
45و به آزادی راه خواهم رفت زیرا که وصایای تو را طلبیده‌ام.
46I will also speak of Thy testimonies before kings, and will not be ashamed.
46و در شهادات تو به حضور پادشاهان سخن خواهم گفت و خجل نخواهم شد.
47And I will delight myself in Thy commandments, which I have loved.
47و ازوصایای تو تلذذ خواهم یافت که آنها را دوست می‌دارم.
48I will lift up my hands also unto Thy commandments, which I have loved; and I will meditate in Thy statutes.
48و دستهای خود را به اوامر تو که دوست می‌دارم بر خواهم افراشت و در فرایض تو تفکر خواهم نمود.
49ZAIN. Remember the word unto Thy servant, because Thou hast made me to hope.
49کلام خود را با بنده خویش به یاد آور که مرا بر آن امیدوار گردانیدی.
50This is my comfort in my affliction, that Thy word hath quickened me.
50این در مصیبتم تسلی من است زیرا قول تو مرا زنده ساخت.
51The proud have had me greatly in derision; yet have I not turned aside from Thy law.
51متکبران مرا بسیار استهزا کردند، لیکن ازشریعت تو رو نگردانیدم.
52I have remembered Thine ordinances which are of old, O LORD, and have comforted myself.
52ای خداوندداوریهای تو را از قدیم به یاد آوردم و خویشتن راتسلی دادم.
53Burning indignation hath taken hold upon me, because of the wicked that forsake Thy law.
53حدت خشم مرا درگرفته است، به‌سبب شریرانی که شریعت تو را ترک کرده‌اند.
54Thy statutes have been my songs in the house of my pilgrimage.
54فرایض تو سرودهای من گردید، در خانه غربت من.
55I have remembered Thy name, O LORD, in the night, and have observed Thy law.
55ای خداوند نام تو را در شب به یادآوردم و شریعت تو را نگاه داشتم.
56This I have had, that I have kept Thy precepts.
56این بهره من گردید، زیرا که وصایای تو را نگاه داشتم.
57HETH. My portion is the LORD, I have said that I would observe Thy words.
57خداوند نصیب من است. گفتم که کلام تو رانگاه خواهم داشت.
58I have entreated Thy favour with my whole heart; be gracious unto me according to Thy word.
58رضامندی تو را به تمامی دل خود طلبیدم. به حسب کلام خود بر من رحم فرما.
59I considered my ways, and turned my feet unto Thy testimonies.
59در راههای خود تفکر کردم و پایهای خود را به شهادات تو مایل ساختم.
60I made haste, and delayed not, to observe Thy commandments.
60شتابیدم ودرنگ نکردم تا اوامر تو را نگاه دارم.
61The bands of the wicked have enclosed me; but I have not forgotten Thy law.
61ریسمانهای شریران مرا احاطه کرد، لیکن شریعت تو را فراموش نکردم.
62At midnight I will rise to give thanks unto Thee because of Thy righteous ordinances.
62در نصف شب برخاستم تا تو را حمد گویم برای داوریهای عدالت تو.
63I am a companion of all them that fear Thee, and of them that observe Thy precepts.
63من همه ترسندگانت را رفیق هستم، و آنانی را که وصایای تو را نگاه می‌دارند.
64The earth, O LORD, is full of Thy mercy; teach me Thy statutes.
64ای خداوند زمین از رحمت تو پر است. فرایض خودرا به من بیاموز.
65TETH. Thou hast dealt well with Thy servant, O LORD, according unto Thy word.
65با بنده خود احسان نمودی، ای خداوندموافق کلام خویش.
66Teach me good discernment and knowledge; for I have believed Thy commandments.
66خردمندی نیکو و معرفت را به من بیاموز زیرا که به اوامر تو ایمان آوردم.
67Before I was afflicted, I did err; but now I observe Thy word.
67قبل از آنکه مصیبت را ببینم من گمراه شدم لیکن الان کلام تو را نگاه داشتم.
68Thou art good, and doest good; teach me Thy statutes.
68تو نیکو هستی و نیکویی می‌کنی. فرایض خود را به من بیاموز.
69The proud have forged a lie against me; but I with my whole heart will keep Thy precepts.
69متکبران بر من دروغ بستند. و اما من به تمامی دل وصایای تو را نگاه داشتم.
70Their heart is gross like fat; but I delight in Thy law.
70دل ایشان مثل پیه فربه است. و اما من در شریعت تو تلذذمی یابم.
71It is good for me that I have been afflicted, in order that I might learn Thy statutes.
71مرا نیکو است که مصیبت را دیدم، تافرایض تو را بیاموزم.
72The law of Thy mouth is better unto me than thousands of gold and silver.
72شریعت دهان تو برای من بهتر است از هزاران طلا و نقره.
73JOD. Thy hands have made me and fashioned me; give me understanding, that I may learn Thy commandments.
73دستهای تو مرا ساخته و آفریده است. مرافهیم گردان تا اوامر تو را بیاموزم.
74They that fear Thee shall see me and be glad, because I have hope in Thy word.
74ترسندگان توچون مرا بینند شادمان گردند زیرا به کلام توامیدوار هستم.
75I know, O LORD, that Thy judgments are righteous, and that in faithfulness Thou hast afflicted me.
75ای خداوند دانسته‌ام که داوریهای تو عدل است، و بر‌حق مرا مصیبت داده‌ای.
76Let, I pray Thee, Thy lovingkindness be ready to comfort me, according to Thy promise unto Thy servant.
76پس رحمت تو برای تسلی من بشود، موافق کلام تو با بنده خویش.
77Let Thy tender mercies come unto me, that I may live; for Thy law is my delight.
77رحمت های توبه من برسد تا زنده شوم زیرا که شریعت تو تلذذمن است.
78Let the proud be put to shame, for they have distorted my cause with falsehood; but I will meditate in Thy precepts.
78متکبران خجل شوند زیرا به دروغ مرا اذیت رسانیدند. و اما من در وصایای تو تفکرمی کنم.
79Let those that fear Thee return unto me, and they that know Thy testimonies.
79ترسندگان تو به من رجوع کنند و آنانی که شهادات تو را می‌دانند.
80Let my heart be undivided in Thy statutes, in order that I may not be put to shame.
80دل من در فرایض تو کامل شود، تا خجل نشوم.
81CAPH. My soul pineth for Thy salvation; in Thy word do I hope.
81جان من برای نجات تو کاهیده می‌شود. لیکن به کلام تو امیدوار هستم.
82Mine eyes fail for Thy word, saying: 'When wilt Thou comfort me?'
82چشمان من برای کلام تو تار گردیده است و می‌گویم کی مراتسلی خواهی داد.
83For I am become like a wine-skin in the smoke; yet do I not forget Thy statutes.
83زیرا که مثل مشک در دودگردیده‌ام. لیکن فرایض تو را فراموش نکرده‌ام.
84How many are the days of Thy servant? When wilt Thou execute judgment on them that persecute me?
84چند است روزهای بنده تو؟ و کی بر جفاکنندگانم داوری خواهی نمود؟
85The proud have digged pits for me, which is not according to Thy law.
85متکبران برای من حفره‌ها زدند زیرا که موافق شریعت تونیستند.
86All Thy commandments are faithful; they persecute me for nought; help Thou me.
86تمامی اوامر تو امین است. بر من ناحق جفا کردند. پس مرا امداد فرما.
87They had almost consumed me upon earth; but as for me, I forsook not Thy precepts.
87نزدیک بود که مرا از زمین نابود سازند. اما من وصایای تو را ترک نکردم.
88Quicken me after Thy lovingkindness, and I will observe the testimony of Thy mouth.
88به حسب رحمت خود مرا زنده ساز تاشهادات دهان تو را نگاه دارم.
89LAMED. For ever, O LORD, Thy word standeth fast in heaven.
89ای خداوند کلام تو تا ابدالاباد در آسمانهاپایدار است.
90Thy faithfulness is unto all generations; Thou hast established the earth, and it standeth.
90امانت تو نسلا بعد نسل است. زمین را آفریده‌ای و پایدار می‌ماند.
91They stand this day according to Thine ordinances; for all things are Thy servants.
91برای داوریهای تو تا امروز ایستاده‌اند زیرا که همه بنده تو هستند.
92Unless Thy law had been my delight, I should then have perished in mine affliction.
92اگر شریعت تو تلذذ من نمی بود، هرآینه در مذلت خود هلاک می‌شدم.
93I will never forget Thy precepts; for with them Thou hast quickened me.
93وصایای تو را تا به ابد فراموش نخواهم کردزیرا به آنها مرا زنده ساخته‌ای.
94I am Thine, save me; for I have sought Thy precepts.
94من از آن توهستم مرا نجات ده زیرا که وصایای تو را طلبیدم.
95The wicked have waited for me to destroy me; but I will consider Thy testimonies.
95شریران برای من انتظار کشیدند تا مرا هلاک کنند. لیکن در شهادات تو تامل می‌کنم.
96I have seen an end to every purpose; but Thy commandment is exceeding broad.
96برای هر کمالی انتهایی دیدم، لیکن حکم تو بی‌نهایت وسیع است.
97MEM. O how love I Thy law! It is my meditation all the day.
97شریعت تو را چقدر دوست می‌دارم.
98Thy commandments make me wiser than mine enemies: for they are ever with me.
98اوامر تو مرا ازدشمنانم حکیم تر ساخته است زیرا که همیشه نزد من می‌باشد.
99I have more understanding than all my teachers; for Thy testimonies are my meditation.
99از جمیع معلمان خود فهیم ترشدم زیرا که شهادات تو تفکر من است.
100I understand more than mine elders, because I have keep Thy precepts.
100ازمشایخ خردمندتر شدم زیرا که وصایای تو رانگاه داشتم.
101I have refrained my feet from every evil way, in order that I might observe Thy word.
101پایهای خود را از هر راه بد نگاه داشتم تا آن که کلام تو را حفظ کنم.
102I have not turned aside from Thine ordinances; for Thou hast instructed me.
102ازداوریهای تو رو برنگردانیدم، زیرا که تو مرا تعلیم دادی.
103How sweet are Thy words unto my palate! yea, sweeter than honey to my mouth!
103کلام تو به مذاق من چه شیرین است وبه دهانم از عسل شیرین تر.
104From Thy precepts I get understanding; therefore I hate every false way.
104از وصایای توفطانت را تحصیل کردم. بنابراین هر راه دروغ رامکروه می‌دارم.
105NUN. Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.
105کلام تو برای پایهای من چراغ، و برای راههای من نور است.
106I have sworn, and have confirmed it, to observe Thy righteous ordinances.
106قسم خوردم و آن راوفا خواهم نمود که داوریهای عدالت تو را نگاه خواهم داشت.
107I am afflicted very much; quicken me, O LORD, according unto Thy word.
107بسیار ذلیل شده‌ام. ای خداوند، موافق کلام خود مرا زنده ساز!
108Accept, I beseech Thee, the freewill-offerings of my mouth, O LORD, and teach me Thine ordinances.
108ای خداوند هدایای تبرعی دهان مرا منظور فرما وداوریهای خود را به من بیاموز.
109My soul is continually in my hand; yet have I not forgotten Thy law.
109جان من همیشه در کف من است، لیکن شریعت تو رافراموش نمی کنم.
110The wicked have laid a snare for me; yet went I not astray from Thy precepts.
110شریران برای من دام گذاشته‌اند، اما از وصایای تو گمراه نشدم.
111Thy testimonies have I taken as a heritage for ever; for they are the rejoicing of my heart.
111شهادات تو را تا به ابد میراث خود ساخته‌ام زیرا که آنها شادمانی دل من است.
112I have inclined my heart to perform Thy statutes, for ever, at every step.
112دل خود رابرای بجا آوردن فرایض تو مایل ساختم، تاابدالاباد و تا نهایت.
113SAMECH. I hate them that are of a double mind; but Thy law do I love.
113مردمان دو رو را مکروه داشته‌ام، لیکن شریعت تو را دوست می‌دارم.
114Thou art my covert and my shield; in Thy word do I hope.
114ستر و سپر من تو هستی. به کلام تو انتظار می‌کشم.
115Depart from me, ye evildoers; that I may keep the commandments of my God.
115ای بدکاران، از من دور شوید! و اوامر خدای خویش را نگاه خواهم داشت.
116Uphold me according unto Thy word, that I may live; and put me not to shame in my hope.
116مرا به حسب کلام خود تایید کن تا زنده شوم و از امید خود خجل نگردم.
117Support Thou me, and I shall be saved; and I will occupy myself with Thy statutes continually.
117مرا تقویت کن تا رستگار گردم و برفرایض تو دائم نظر نمایم.
118Thou hast made light of all them that err from Thy statutes; for their deceit is vain.
118همه کسانی را که از فرایض تو گمراه شده‌اند، حقیر شمرده‌ای زیراکه مکر ایشان دروغ است.
119Thou puttest away all the wicked of the earth like dross; therefore I love Thy testimonies.
119جمیع شریران زمین را مثل درد هلاک می‌کنی. بنابراین شهادات تو را دوست می‌دارم.
120My flesh shuddereth for fear of Thee; and I am afraid of Thy judgments.
120موی بدن من از خوف تو برخاسته است و از داوریهای تو ترسیدم.
121AIN. I have done justice and righteousness; leave me not to mine oppressors.
121داد و عدالت را به‌جا آوردم. مرا به ظلم کنندگانم تسلیم منما.
122Be surety for Thy servant for good; let not the proud oppress me.
122برای سعادت بنده خود ضامن شو تا متکبران بر من ظلم نکنند.
123Mine eyes fail for Thy salvation, and for Thy righteous word.
123چشمانم برای نجات تو تار شده است و برای کلام عدالت تو.
124Deal with Thy servant according unto Thy mercy, and teach me Thy statutes.
124با بنده خویش موافق رحمانیتت عمل نما و فرایض خود را به من بیاموز.
125I am Thy servant, give me understanding, that I may know Thy testimonies.
125من بنده تو هستم. مرا فهیم گردان تاشهادات تو را دانسته باشم.
126It is time for the LORD to work; they have made void Thy law.
126وقت است که خداوند عمل کند زیرا که شریعت تو را باطل نموده‌اند.
127Therefore I love Thy commandments above gold, yea, above fine gold.
127بنابراین، اوامر تو را دوست می‌دارم، زیادتر از طلا و زر خالص.
128Therefore I esteem all Thy precepts concerning all things to be right; every false way I hate.
128بنابراین، همه وصایای تو را در هر چیز راست می‌دانم، وهر راه دروغ را مکروه می‌دارم.
129PE. Thy testimonies are wonderful; therefore doth my soul keep them.
129شهادات تو عجیب است. ازین سبب جان من آنها را نگاه می‌دارد.
130The opening of Thy words giveth light; it giveth understanding unto the simple.
130کشف کلام تو نورمی بخشد و ساده دلان را فهیم می‌گرداند.
131I opened wide my mouth, and panted; for I longed for Thy commandments.
131دهان خود را نیکو باز کرده، نفس زدم زیرا که مشتاق وصایای تو بودم.
132Turn Thee towards me, and be gracious unto me, as is Thy wont to do unto those that love Thy name.
132بر من نظر کن و کرم فرما، برحسب عادت تو به آنانی که نام تو رادوست می‌دارند.
133Order my footsteps by Thy word; and let not any iniquity have dominion over me.
133قدم های مرا در کلام خودت پایدار ساز، تا هیچ بدی بر من تسلط نیابد.
134Redeem me from the oppression of man, and I will observe Thy precepts.
134مرا از ظلم انسان خلاصی ده، تا وصایای تورا نگاه دارم.
135Make Thy face to shine upon Thy servant; and teach me Thy statutes.
135روی خود را بر بنده خود روشن ساز، و فرایض خود را به من بیاموز.
136Mine eyes run down with rivers of water, because they observe not Thy law.
136نهرهای آب از چشمانم جاری است زیرا که شریعت تو رانگاه نمی دارند.
137TZADE. Righteous art Thou, O LORD, and upright are Thy judgments.
137ای خداوند تو عادل هستی و داوریهای تو راست است.
138Thou hast commanded Thy testimonies in righteousness and exceeding faithfulness.
138شهادات خود را به راستی امر فرمودی و به امانت الی نهایت.
139My zeal hath undone me, because mine adversaries have forgotten Thy words.
139غیرت من مرا هلاک کرده است زیرا که دشمنان من کلام تورا فراموش کرده‌اند.
140Thy word is tried to the uttermost, and Thy servant loveth it.
140کلام تو بی‌نهایت مصفی است و بنده تو آن را دوست می‌دارد.
141I am small and despised; yet have I not forgotten Thy precepts.
141من کوچک و حقیر هستم، اما وصایای تو را فراموش نکردم.
142Thy righteousness is an everlasting righteousness, and Thy law is the truth.
142عدالت تو عدل است تا ابدالاباد وشریعت تو راست است.
143Trouble and anguish have overtaken me; yet Thy commandments are my delight.
143تنگی و ضیق مرا درگرفته است، اما اوامر تو تلذذ من است.
144Thy testimonies are righteous for ever; give me understanding, and I shall live.
144شهادات تو عادل است تا ابدالاباد. مرا فهیم گردان تا زنده شوم.
145KOPH. I have called with my whole heart; answer me, O LORD; I will keep Thy statutes.
145به تمامی دل خوانده‌ام. ای خداوند مراجواب ده تا فرایض تو را نگاه دارم!
146I have called Thee, save me, and I will observe Thy testimonies.
146تو راخوانده‌ام، پس مرا نجات ده. و شهادات تو را نگاه خواهم داشت.
147I rose early at dawn, and cried; I hoped in Thy word.
147بر طلوع فجر سبقت جسته، استغاثه کردم، و کلام تو را انتظار کشیدم.
148Mine eyes forestalled the night-watches, that I might meditate in Thy word.
148چشمانم بر پاسهای شب سبقت جست، تا درکلام تو تفکر بنمایم.
149Hear my voice according unto Thy lovingkindness; quicken me, O LORD, as Thou art wont.
149به حسب رحمت خود آواز مرا بشنو. ای خداوند موافق داوریهای خودمرا زنده ساز.
150They draw nigh that follow after wickedness; they are far from Thy law.
150آنانی که در‌پی خباثت می‌روند، نزدیک می‌آیند، و از شریعت تو دورمی باشند.
151Thou art nigh, O LORD; and all Thy commandments are truth.
151ای خداوند تو نزدیک هستی وجمیع اوامر تو راست است.
152Of old have I known from Thy testimonies that Thou hast founded them for ever.
152شهادات تو را اززمان پیش دانسته‌ام که آنها را بنیان کرده‌ای تاابدالاباد.
153RESH. O see mine affliction, and rescue me; for I do not forget Thy law.
153بر مذلت من نظر کن و مرا خلاصی ده زیراکه شریعت تو را فراموش نکرده‌ام.
154Plead Thou my cause, and redeem me; quicken me according to Thy word.
154در دعوای من دادرسی فرموده، مرا نجات ده و به حسب کلام خویش مرا زنده ساز.
155Salvation is far from the wicked; for they seek not Thy statutes.
155نجات از شریران دور است زیرا که فرایض تو را نمی طلبند.
156Great are Thy compassions, O LORD; quicken me as Thou art wont.
156ای خداوند، رحمت های تو بسیار است. به حسب داوریهای خود مرا زنده ساز.
157Many are my persecutors and mine adversaries; yet have I not turned aside from Thy testimonies.
157جفاکنندگان و خصمان من بسیارند. اما ازشهادات تو رو برنگردانیدم.
158I beheld them that were faithless, and strove with them; because they observed not Thy word.
158خیانت کاران رادیدم و مکروه داشتم زیرا کلام تو را نگاه نمی دارند.
159O see how I love Thy precepts; quicken me, O LORD, according to Thy lovingkindness.
159ببین که وصایای تو را دوست می‌دارم. ای خداوند، به حسب رحمت خود مرازنده ساز!
160The beginning of Thy word is truth; and all Thy righteous ordinance endureth for ever.
160جمله کلام تو راستی است وتمامی داوری عدالت تو تا ابدالاباد است.
161SCHIN. Princes have persecuted me without a cause; but my heart standeth in awe of Thy words.
161سروران بی‌جهت بر من جفا کردند. اما دل من از کلام تو ترسان است.
162I rejoice at Thy word, as one that findeth great spoil.
162من در کلام توشادمان هستم، مثل کسی‌که غنیمت وافر پیدانموده باشد.
163I hate and abhor falsehood; Thy law do I love.
163از دروغ کراهت و نفرت دارم. اماشریعت تو را دوست می‌دارم.
164Seven times a day do I praise Thee, because of Thy righteous ordinances.
164هر روز تو راهفت مرتبه تسبیح می‌خوانم، برای داوریهای عدالت تو.
165Great peace have they that love Thy law; and there is no stumbling for them.
165آنانی را که شریعت تو را دوست می دارند، سلامتی عظیم است و هیچ‌چیز باعث لغزش ایشان نخواهد شد.
166I have hoped for Thy salvation, O LORD, and have done Thy commandments.
166ای خداوند، برای نجات تو امیدوار هستم و اوامر تو را بجا می‌آورم.
167My soul hath observed Thy testimonies; and I love them exceedingly.
167جان من شهادات تو را نگاه داشته است و آنهارا بی‌نهایت دوست می‌دارم.
168I have observed Thy precepts and Thy testimonies; for all my ways are before Thee.
168وصایا وشهادات تو را نگاه داشته‌ام زیرا که تمام طریقهای من در مد نظر تو است.
169TAV. Let my cry come near before Thee, O LORD; give me understanding according to Thy word.
169ای خداوند، فریاد من به حضور تو برسد. به حسب کلام خود مرا فهیم گردان.
170Let my supplication come before Thee; deliver me according to Thy word.
170مناجات من به حضور تو برسد. به حسب کلام خود مراخلاصی ده.
171Let my lips utter praise: because Thou teachest me Thy statutes.
171لبهای من حمد تو را جاری کندزیرا فرایض خود را به من آموخته‌ای.
172Let my tongue sing of Thy word; for all Thy commandments are righteousness.
172زبان من کلام تو را بسراید زیرا که تمام اوامر تو عدل است.
173Let Thy hand be ready to help me; for I have chosen Thy precepts.
173دست تو برای اعانت من بشود زیرا که وصایای تو را برگزیده‌ام.
174I have longed for Thy salvation, O LORD; and Thy law is my delight.
174ای خداوند برای نجات تو مشتاق بوده‌ام و شریعت تو تلذذ من است.
175Let my soul live, and it shall praise Thee; and let Thine ordinances help me.
175جان من زنده شود تا تو را تسبیح بخواند و داوریهای تو معاون من باشد.
176I have gone astray like a lost sheep; seek Thy servant; for I have not forgotten Thy commandments.
176مثل گوسفند گم شده، آواره گشتم. بنده خود را طلب نما، زیرا که اوامر تو را فراموش نکردم.
