2Kenan, Mahalalel, Jared;
2قِينان مهلَلئِيل يارَد،
3Enoch, Methuselah, Lamech;
3خَنُوخ مَتُوشالَح لَمَک،
4Noah, Shem, Ham, and Japheth.
4نُوح سام حام يافَث.
5The sons of Japheth: Gomer, and Magog, and Madai, and Javan, and Tubal, and Meshech, and Tiras.
5پسران يافَث: جُومَر و ماجُوج و ماداي و ياوان و ماشَک و تيراس.
6And the sons of Gomer: Ashkenaz, and Diphath, and Togarmah.
6وپسران جُومَر: اَشکَناز و ريفات و تُجَرمَه.
7And the sons of Javan: Elishah, and Tarshish, Kittim, and Rodanim.
7و پسران ياوان: اَلِيشَه و تَرشِيش و کتيم و دُودانِيم.
8The sons of Ham: Cush, and Mizraim, Put, and Canaan.
8و پسران حام: کوش و مِصرايم و فُوت و کَنعان.
9And the sons of Cush: Seba, and Havilah, and Sabta, and Raama, and Sabteca. And the sons of Raama: Sheba, and Dedan.
9و پسران کوش: سَبا و حَويلَه و سبتا و رَعما و سَبتَکا. و پسران رَعما: شَبا و دَدان.
10And Cush begot Nimrod; he began to be a mighty one in the earth.
10و کوش، نِمرود را آورد، و او به جبار شدن در جهان شروع نمود.
11And Mizraim begot Ludim, and Anamim, and Lehabim, and Naphtuhim,
11و مِصرايم، لُوديم و عَنَاميم و لَهابيم و نَفتُوحيم را آورد،
12and Pathrusim, and Casluhim — from whence came the Philistines — and Caphtorim.
12و فَتروسيم و کَسلُوحيم را که فَلَستيم و کَفتوريم از ايشان پديد آمدند.
13And Canaan begot Zidon his first-born, and Heth;
13و کَنعان نُخست زاده خود، صيدون و حِتّ را آورد،
14and the Jebusite, and the Amorite, and the Girgashite;
14و يبُوسي و اَمُوري و جَرجاشي،
15and the Hivite, and the Arkite, and the Sinite;
15و حِوّي و عِرقي و سِيني،
16and the Arvadite, and the Zemarite, and the Hamathite.
16و اروادي و صَماري و حَماتي را.
17The Sons of Shem: Elam, and Asshur, and Arpachshad, and Lud, and Aram, and Uz, and Hul, and Gether, and Meshech.
17پسران سام: عيلام و آشُّور و اَرفَکشاد و لُود واَرام و عُوص و حُول و جاتَر و ماشَک.
18And Arpachshad begot Shelah, and Shelah begot Eber.
18و اَرفَکشاد، شالَح را آورد و شالَح، عابَر را آورد.
19And unto Eber were born two sons: the name of the one was Peleg; for in his days the earth was divided; and his brother's name was Joktan.
19و براي عابَر، دو پسر متولد شدند که يکي را فالَج نام بود زيرا در ايام وي زمين منقسم شد و اسم برادرش يقطان بود.
20And Joktan begot Almodad, and Sheleph, and Hazarmaveth, and Jerah;
20و يقطان، اَلمُوداد و شالَف و حَضَرموت و يارَح را آورد؛
21and Hadoram, and Uzal, and Diklah;
21و هَدُورام و اُوزال و دِقلَه،
22and Ebal, and Abimael, and Sheba;
22و اِيبال و اَبيمايل و شَبا،
23and Ophir, and Havilah, and Jobab. All these were the sons of Joktan.
23و اُوفير و حَويلَه و يوباب را که جميع اينها پسران يقطان بودند.
24Shem, Arpachshad, Shelah;
24سام، اَرفَکشاد سالَح،
25Eber, Peleg, Reu;
25عابَر فالَج رَعُو،
26Serug, Nahor, Terah;
26سَروج ناحُور تارَح،
27Abram — the same is Abraham.
27اَبرام که همان ابراهيم باشد.
28The sons of Abraham: Isaac, and Ishmael.
28پسران ابراهيم: اسحاق واسماعيل.
29These are their generations: the first-born of Ishmael, Nebaioth; then Kedar, and Adbeel, and Mibsam,
29اين است پيداش ايشان: نخستزاده اسماعيل: نَبايوت و قيدار و اَدَبئيل و مِبسام،
30Mishma, and Dumah, Massa, Hadad, and Tema,
30و مِشماع و دُومَه و مَسّا و حَدَد و تيما،
31Jetur, Naphish, and Kedem. These are the sons of Ishmael.
31و يطُور و نافيش و قِدمَه که اينان پسران اسماعيل بودند.
32And the sons of Keturah, Abraham's concubine: she bore Zimran, and Jokshan, and Medan, and Midian, and Ishbak, and Shuah. And the sons of Jokshan: Sheba, and Dedan.
32و پسران قَطُورَه که مُتعه ابراهيم بود، پس او زِمران و يقشان و مَدان و مِديان و يشباق و شُوحا را زاييد و پسران يقشان: شَبا و دَدان بودند.
33And the sons of Midian: Ephah, and Epher, and Hanoch, and Abida, and Eldaah. All these were the sons of Keturah.
33و پسران مِديان عِيفَه و عِيفَرو خَنُوح و اَبيداع و اَلدَعَه بودند. پس جميع اينها پسران قَطُورَه بودند.
34And Abraham begot Isaac. The sons of Isaac: Esau, and Israel.
34و ابراهيم اسحاق را آورد؛ و پسران اسحاق عِيسُو واسرائيل بودند.
35The sons of Esau: Eliphaz, Reuel, and Jeush, and Jalam and Korah.
35و پسران عِيسُو:اَليفاز و رَعُوئيل و يعُوش و يعلام وقُورَح.
36The sons of Eliphaz: Teman, and Omar, Zephi, and Gatam, Kenaz, and Timna, and Amalek.
36پسران اَليفاز: تيمان و اُومار و صَفي و جَعتام و قَناز و تِمناع و عَماليق.
37The sons of Reuel: Nahath, Zerah, Shammah, and Mizzah.
37پسران رَعُوئيل: نَحَت و زارَح و شَمَّه و مِزَّه .
38And the sons of Seir: Lotan, and Shobal, and Zibeon, and Anah, and Dishon, and Ezer, and Dishan.
38و پسران سَعِير: لُوطان و شُوبال و صِبعون و عَنَه و ديشُون و اِيصر ودِيشان.
39And the sons of Lotan: Hori, and Homam; and Timna was Lotan's sister.
39و پسران لُوطان: حوري و هُومام و خواهر لُوطان تِمناع.
40The sons of Shobal: Alian, and Manahath, and Ebal, Shephi, and Onam. And the sons of Zibeon: Aiah, and Anah.
40پسران شُوبال: عَليان ومَنَاحَت وعِيبال وشَفي واُونام و پسران صِبعُون: اَيه و عَنَه.
41The sons of Anah: Dishon. And the sons of Dishon: Hamran, and Eshban, and Ithran, and Cheran.
41و پسران عَنَه: ديشون وپسران ديشون: حَمران و اِشبان و يتران و کَران.
42The sons of Ezer: Bilhan, and Zaavan, Jaakan. The sons of Dishan: Uz, and Aran.
42پسران ايصر: بِلهان و زَعوان و يعقان وپسران ديشان: عُوص و اَران.
43Now these are the kings that reigned in the land of Edom, before their reigned any king over the children of Israel: Bela the son of Beor; and the name of his city was Dinhabah.
43و پادشاهاني که در زمين اَدُوم سلطنت نمودند، پيش از آنکه پادشاهي بر بني اسرائيل سلطنت کند، اينانند: بالَع بن بَعُور و اسم شهر او دِنهابِه بود.
44And Bela died, and Jobab the son of Zerah of Bozrah reigned in his stead.
44و بالَع مُرد و يوباب بن زارَح از بُصرَه به جايش پادشاه شد.
45And Jobab died, and Husham of the land of the Temanites reigned in his stead.
45و يوباب مرد و حوشام از زمين تيماني به جايش سلطنت نمود.
46And Husham died, and Hadad the son of Bedad, who smote Midian in the field of Moab, reigned in his stead; and the name of his city was Avith.
46و حُوشام مُرد وهَدَد بن بَدَد که مِديان را در زمين موآب شکست داد در جايش پادشاه شد و اسم شهرش عَوِيت بود .
47And Hadad died, and Samlah of Masrekah reigned in his stead.
47و هَدَد مُرد و سَملَه از مَسريقَه به جايش پادشاه شد.
48And Samlah died, and Shaul of Rehoboth by the River reigned in his stead.
48و سَملَه مُرد و شاؤل از رَحُوبوت نهر به جايش پادشاه شد.
49And Shaul died, and Baal-hanan the son of Achbor reigned in his stead.
49و شاؤل مُرد و بَعل حانان بن عَکبور به جايش پادشاه شد.
50And Baal-hanan died, and Hadad reigned in his stead; and the name of his city was Pai; and his wife's name was Mehetabel, the daughter of Matred, the daughter of Mezahab.
50و بَعل حانان مُرد وهَدَد به جايش پادشاه شد؛ و اسم شهرش فاعي و اسم زنش مَهِيطَبئيل دختر مَطرِد دختر مَي ذَهَب بود.
51And Hadad died. And the chiefs of Edom were: the chief of Timna, the chief of Alvah, the chief of Jetheth;
51وهَدَد مُرد و اَميرانِ اَدوُم امير تِمناع وامير اَليه و امير يتِيت بودند.
52the chief of Oholibamah, the chief of Elah, the chief of Pinon;
52و اَمير اَهولِيبَامَه و امير اِيلَه و امير فِينُون؛
53the chief of Kenaz, the chief of Teman, the chief of Mibzar;
53وامير قَناز و اميرِتيمان وامير مِبصار؛
54the chief of Magdiel, the chief of Iram. These are the chiefs of Edom.
54وامير مَجدِيئيل وامير عيرام؛ اينان اميران اَدُوم بودند.
