1ALEPH. Happy are they that are upright in the way, who walk in the law of the LORD.
1BEATI coloro che sono intieri di via, Che camminano nella Legge del Signore.
2Happy are they that keep His testimonies, that seek Him with the whole heart.
2Beati coloro che guardano le sue testimonianze, Che lo cercano con tutto il cuore;
3Yea, they do no unrighteousness; they walk in His ways.
3I quali eziandio non operano iniquità; Anzi camminano nelle sue vie.
4Thou hast ordained Thy precepts, that we should observe them diligently.
4Tu hai ordinato che i tuoi comandamenti Sieno strettamente osservati.
5Oh that my ways were directed to observe Thy statutes!
5Oh! sieno pure addirizzate le mie vie, Per osservare i tuoi statuti.
6Then should I not be ashamed, when I have regard unto all Thy commandments.
6Allora io non sarò svergognato, Quando io riguarderò a tutti i tuoi comandamenti.
7I will give thanks unto Thee with uprightness of heart, when I learn Thy righteous ordinances.
7Io ti celebrerò con dirittura di cuore, Quando io avrò imparate le leggi della tua giustizia.
8I will observe Thy statutes; O forsake me not utterly.
8Io osserverò i tuoi statuti; Non abbandonarmi del tutto.
9BETH. Wherewithal shall a young man keep his way pure? By taking heed thereto according to Thy word.
9Come renderà il fanciullo la sua via pura? Prendendo guardia ad essa secondo la tua parola.
10With my whole heart have I sought Thee; O let me not err from Thy commandments.
10Io ti ho cercato con tutto il mio cuore; Non lasciarmi deviar da' tuoi comandamenti.
11Thy word have I laid up in my heart, that I might not sin against Thee.
11Io ho riposta la tua parola nel mio cuore; Acciocchè io non pecchi contro a te.
12Blessed art Thou, O LORD; teach me Thy statutes.
12Tu sei benedetto, o Signore; Insegnami i tuoi statuti.
13With my lips have I told all the ordinances of Thy mouth.
13Io ho colle mie labbra raccontate Tutte le leggi della tua bocca.
14I have rejoiced in the way of Thy testimonies, as much as in all riches.
14Io gioisco nella via delle tue testimonianze, Come per tutte le ricchezze del mondo .
15I will meditate in Thy precepts, and have respect unto Thy ways.
15Io ragiono de' tuoi comandamenti, E riguardo a' tuoi sentieri.
16I will delight myself in Thy statutes; I will not forget Thy word.
16Io mi diletto ne' tuoi statuti; Io non dimenticherò le tue parole.
17GIMEL. Deal bountifully with Thy servant that I may live, and I will observe Thy word.
17Fa' del bene al tuo servitore, Ed io viverò, ed osserverò la tua parola.
18Open Thou mine eyes, that I may behold wondrous things out of Thy law.
18Apri gli occhi miei, ed io riguarderò Le maraviglie della tua Legge.
19I am a sojourner in the earth; hide not Thy commandments from me.
19Io son forestiere in terra; Non nascondermi i tuoi comandamenti.
20My soul breaketh for the longing that it hath unto Thine ordinances at all times.
20L'anima mia si stritola di affezione Alle tue leggi in ogni tempo.
21Thou hast rebuked the proud that are cursed, that do err from Thy commandments.
21Tu sgridi i superbi maledetti Che deviano da' tuoi comandamenti.
22Take away from me reproach and contempt; for I have kept Thy testimonies.
22Togli d'addosso a me il vituperio e lo sprezzo; Perciocchè io ho guardate le tue testimonianze.
23Even though princes sit and talk against me, thy servant doth meditate in Thy statutes.
23Eziandio, mentre i principi sedevano, e ragionavano contro a me, Il tuo servitore ha meditato ne' tuoi statuti.
24Yea, Thy testimonies are my delight, they are my counsellors.
24Ed anche le tue testimonianze sono i miei diletti Ed i miei consiglieri.
25DALETH. My soul cleaveth unto the dust; quicken Thou me according to Thy word.
25L'anima mia è attaccata alla polvere; Vivificami secondo la tua parola.
26I told of my ways, and Thou didst answer me; teach me Thy statutes.
26Io ti ho narrate le mie vie, e tu mi hai risposto; Insegnami i tuoi statuti.
27Make me to understand the way of Thy precepts, that I may talk of Thy wondrous works.
27Fammi intender la via de' tuoi comandamenti, Ed io ragionerò delle tue maraviglie.
28My soul melteth away for heaviness; sustain me according unto Thy word.
28L'anima mia stilla di cordoglio; Sollevami secondo le tue parole.
29Remove from me the way of falsehood; and grant me Thy law graciously.
29Rimuovi da me la via della menzogna; E fammi dono della tua Legge.
30I have chosen the way of faithfulness; Thine ordinances have I set before me.
30Io ho scelta la via della verità; Io mi son proposte le tue leggi.
31I cleave unto Thy testimonies; O LORD, put me not to shame.
31Io mi son tenuto alle tue testimonianze; Signore, non lasciar che io sia confuso.
32I will run the way of Thy commandments, for Thou dost enlarge my heart.
32Correrò nella via de' tuoi comandamenti, Quando tu mi avrai allargato il cuore.
33HE. Teach me, O LORD, the way of Thy statutes; and I will keep it at every step.
33Insegnami, Signore, la via de' tuoi statuti; Ed io la guarderò infino al fine.
34Give me understanding, that I keep Thy law and observe it with my whole heart.
34Dammi intelletto, ed io guarderò la tua Legge; E l'osserverò con tutto il cuore.
35Make me to tread in the path of Thy commandments; for therein do I delight.
35Conducimi per lo sentiero de' tuoi comandamenti; Perciocchè io mi diletto in esso.
36Incline my heart unto Thy testimonies, and not to covetousness.
36Inchina il mio cuore alle tue testimonianze, E non a cupidigia.
37Turn away mine eyes from beholding vanity, and quicken me in Thy ways.
37Storna gli occhi miei, che non riguardino a vanità; Vivificami nelle tue vie.
38Confirm Thy word unto Thy servant, which pertaineth unto the fear of Thee.
38Attieni la tua parola al tuo servitore, Il quale è tutto intento al tuo timore.
39Turn away my reproach which I dread; for Thine ordinances are good.
39Rimuovi da me il mio vituperio, del quale io temo; Perciocchè le tue leggi son buone.
40Behold, I have longed after Thy precepts; quicken me in Thy righteousness.
40Ecco, io desidero affettuosamente i tuoi comandamenti; Vivificami nella tua giustizia.
41VAV. Let Thy mercies also come unto me, O LORD, even Thy salvation, according to Thy word;
41Ed avvenganmi le tue benignità, o Signore; E la tua salute, secondo la tua parola.
42That I may have an answer for him that taunteth me; for I trust in Thy word.
42Ed io risponderò a colui che mi fa vituperio; Perciocchè io mi confido nella tua parola.
43And take not the word of truth utterly out of my mouth; for I hope in Thine ordinances;
43E non ritrarmi del tutto dalla bocca la parola della verità; Perciocchè io spero nelle tue leggi.
44So shall I observe Thy law continually for ever and ever;
44Ed io osserverò la tua Legge del continuo, In sempiterno.
45And I will walk at ease, for I have sought Thy precepts;
45E camminerò al largo; Perciocchè io ho ricercati i tuoi comandamenti.
46I will also speak of Thy testimonies before kings, and will not be ashamed.
46E parlerò delle tue testimonianze davanti ai re, E non sarò svergognato.
47And I will delight myself in Thy commandments, which I have loved.
47E mi diletterò ne' tuoi comandamenti, I quali io amo.
48I will lift up my hands also unto Thy commandments, which I have loved; and I will meditate in Thy statutes.
48Ed alzerò le palme delle mie mani a' tuoi comandamenti, i quali io amo; E mediterò ne' tuoi statuti.
49ZAIN. Remember the word unto Thy servant, because Thou hast made me to hope.
49Ricordati della parola detta al tuo servitore, Sopra la quale tu mi hai fatto sperare.
50This is my comfort in my affliction, that Thy word hath quickened me.
50Questa è la mia consolazione nella mia afflizione, Che la tua parola mi ha vivificato.
51The proud have had me greatly in derision; yet have I not turned aside from Thy law.
51I superbi mi hanno grandemente schernito; Ma io non mi sono stornato dalla tua Legge.
52I have remembered Thine ordinances which are of old, O LORD, and have comforted myself.
52Signore, io mi son ricordato de' tuoi giudicii ab antico; E mi son consolato.
53Burning indignation hath taken hold upon me, because of the wicked that forsake Thy law.
53Tremito mi occupa, per gli empi Che abbandonano la tua Legge.
54Thy statutes have been my songs in the house of my pilgrimage.
54I tuoi statuti sono stati i miei cantici Nella dimora de' miei pellegrinaggi.
55I have remembered Thy name, O LORD, in the night, and have observed Thy law.
55O Signore, di notte io mi son ricordato del tuo Nome, Ed ho osservata la tua Legge.
56This I have had, that I have kept Thy precepts.
56Questo mi è avvenuto, Perciocchè io ho guardati i tuoi comandamenti.
57HETH. My portion is the LORD, I have said that I would observe Thy words.
57Il Signore è la mia parte; Io ho detto di osservare le tue parole.
58I have entreated Thy favour with my whole heart; be gracious unto me according to Thy word.
58Io ti ho supplicato con tutto il cuore; Abbi pietà di me, secondo la tua parola.
59I considered my ways, and turned my feet unto Thy testimonies.
59Io ho fatta ragione delle mie vie; Ed ho rivolti i miei piedi alle tue testimonianze.
60I made haste, and delayed not, to observe Thy commandments.
60Io mi sono affrettato, e non mi sono indugiato D'osservare i tuoi comandamenti.
61The bands of the wicked have enclosed me; but I have not forgotten Thy law.
61Schiere d'empi mi hanno predato; Ma però non ho dimenticata la tua Legge.
62At midnight I will rise to give thanks unto Thee because of Thy righteous ordinances.
62Io mi levo a mezzanotte, per celebrarti, Per le leggi della tua giustizia.
63I am a companion of all them that fear Thee, and of them that observe Thy precepts.
63Io son compagno di tutti quelli che ti temono, Ed osservano i tuoi comandamenti.
64The earth, O LORD, is full of Thy mercy; teach me Thy statutes.
64Signore, la terra è piena della tua benignità; Insegnami i tuoi statuti.
65TETH. Thou hast dealt well with Thy servant, O LORD, according unto Thy word.
65Signore, tu hai usata beneficenza inverso il tuo servitore, Secondo la tua parola.
66Teach me good discernment and knowledge; for I have believed Thy commandments.
66Insegnami buon senno ed intendimento; Perciocchè io credo a' tuoi comandamenti.
67Before I was afflicted, I did err; but now I observe Thy word.
67Avanti che io fossi afflitto, io andava errando; Ma ora osservo la tua parola.
68Thou art good, and doest good; teach me Thy statutes.
68Tu sei buono e benefattore; Insegnami i tuoi statuti.
69The proud have forged a lie against me; but I with my whole heart will keep Thy precepts.
69I superbi hanno acconciate delle bugie contro a me; Ma io con tutto il cuore guarderò i tuoi comandamenti.
70Their heart is gross like fat; but I delight in Thy law.
70Il cuor loro è condenso come grasso; Ma io mi diletto nella tua Legge.
71It is good for me that I have been afflicted, in order that I might learn Thy statutes.
71Egli è stato buono per me, che io sono stato afflitto; Acciocchè io impari i tuoi statuti.
72The law of Thy mouth is better unto me than thousands of gold and silver.
72La Legge della tua bocca mi è migliore Che le migliaia d'oro e d'argento.
73JOD. Thy hands have made me and fashioned me; give me understanding, that I may learn Thy commandments.
73Le tue mani mi hanno fatto e formato; Dammi intelletto, ed io imparerò i tuoi comandamenti.
74They that fear Thee shall see me and be glad, because I have hope in Thy word.
74Quelli che ti temono mi vedranno, e si rallegreranno; Perciocchè io ho sperato nella tua parola.
75I know, O LORD, that Thy judgments are righteous, and that in faithfulness Thou hast afflicted me.
75O Signore, io so che i tuoi giudicii non sono altro che giustizia; E che ciò che mi hai afflitto è stato fedeltà.
76Let, I pray Thee, Thy lovingkindness be ready to comfort me, according to Thy promise unto Thy servant.
76Deh! sia la tua benignità per consolarmi, Secondo la tua parola, detta al tuo servitore.
77Let Thy tender mercies come unto me, that I may live; for Thy law is my delight.
77Avvenganmi le tue misericordie, acciocchè io viva; Perciocchè la tua Legge è ogni mio diletto.
78Let the proud be put to shame, for they have distorted my cause with falsehood; but I will meditate in Thy precepts.
78Sien confusi i superbi, perciocchè a torto mi sovvertono; Ma io medito ne' tuoi comandamenti.
79Let those that fear Thee return unto me, and they that know Thy testimonies.
79Rivolgansi a me quelli che ti temono. E quelli che conoscono le tue testimonianze.
80Let my heart be undivided in Thy statutes, in order that I may not be put to shame.
80Sia il mio cuore intiero ne' tuoi statuti; Acciocchè io non sia confuso.
81CAPH. My soul pineth for Thy salvation; in Thy word do I hope.
81L'anima mia vien meno dietro alla tua salute; Io spero nella tua parola.
82Mine eyes fail for Thy word, saying: 'When wilt Thou comfort me?'
82Gli occhi miei vengono meno dietro alla tua parola, Dicendo: Quando mi consolerai tu?
83For I am become like a wine-skin in the smoke; yet do I not forget Thy statutes.
83Perciocchè io son divenuto come un otro al fumo; E pur non ho dimenticati i tuoi statuti.
84How many are the days of Thy servant? When wilt Thou execute judgment on them that persecute me?
84Quanti hanno da essere i giorni del tuo servitore? Quando farai giudicio sopra quelli che mi perseguitano?
85The proud have digged pits for me, which is not according to Thy law.
85I superbi mi hanno cavate delle fosse; Il che non è secondo la tua Legge.
86All Thy commandments are faithful; they persecute me for nought; help Thou me.
86Tutti i tuoi comandamenti son verità; Essi mi perseguitano a torto; soccorrimi.
87They had almost consumed me upon earth; but as for me, I forsook not Thy precepts.
87Mi hanno pressochè distrutto ed atterrato; Ma io non ho abbandonati i tuoi comandamenti.
88Quicken me after Thy lovingkindness, and I will observe the testimony of Thy mouth.
88Vivificami secondo la tua benignità, Ed io osserverò la testimonianza della tua bocca.
89LAMED. For ever, O LORD, Thy word standeth fast in heaven.
89O Signore, la tua parola è in eterno; Ella è stabile ne' cieli.
90Thy faithfulness is unto all generations; Thou hast established the earth, and it standeth.
90La tua verità è per ogni età; Tu hai stabilita la terra, ed ella sta ferma.
91They stand this day according to Thine ordinances; for all things are Thy servants.
91Il cielo e la terra stanno anche oggi fermi, per li tuoi ordini, Perciocchè ogni cosa è al tuo servigio.
92Unless Thy law had been my delight, I should then have perished in mine affliction.
92Se la tua Legge non fosse stata ogni mio diletto, Io già sarei perito nella mia afflizione.
93I will never forget Thy precepts; for with them Thou hast quickened me.
93Giammai non dimenticherò i tuoi comandamenti; Perciocchè per essi tu mi hai vivificato.
94I am Thine, save me; for I have sought Thy precepts.
94Io son tuo, salvami; Perciocchè io ho ricercati i tuoi comandamenti.
95The wicked have waited for me to destroy me; but I will consider Thy testimonies.
95Gli empi mi hanno atteso, per farmi perire; Ma io ho considerate le tue testimonianze.
96I have seen an end to every purpose; but Thy commandment is exceeding broad.
96Io ho veduto che tutte le cose le più perfette hanno fine; Ma il tuo comandamento è d'una grandissima distesa.
97MEM. O how love I Thy law! It is my meditation all the day.
97Oh! quanto amo la tua Legge! Ella è la mia meditazione di tutti i giorni.
98Thy commandments make me wiser than mine enemies: for they are ever with me.
98Per li tuoi comandamenti tu mi rendi più savio che i miei nemici; Perciocchè quelli in perpetuo sono miei.
99I have more understanding than all my teachers; for Thy testimonies are my meditation.
99Io son più intendente che tutti i miei dottori; Perciocchè le tue testimonianze son la mia meditazione.
100I understand more than mine elders, because I have keep Thy precepts.
100Io son più avveduto che i vecchi; Perciocchè io ho guardati i tuoi comandamenti.
101I have refrained my feet from every evil way, in order that I might observe Thy word.
101Io ho rattenuti i miei piedi da ogni sentiero malvagio; Acciocchè io osservi la tua parola.
102I have not turned aside from Thine ordinances; for Thou hast instructed me.
102Io non mi sono stornato dalle tue leggi; Perciocchè tu mi hai ammaestrato.
103How sweet are Thy words unto my palate! yea, sweeter than honey to my mouth!
103Oh! quanto son dolci le tue parole al mio palato! Son più dolci che miele alla mia bocca.
104From Thy precepts I get understanding; therefore I hate every false way.
104Io son divenuto avveduto per li tuoi comandamenti; Perciò, odio ogni sentiero di falsità.
105NUN. Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.
105La tua parola è una lampana al mio piè, Ed un lume al mio sentiero.
106I have sworn, and have confirmed it, to observe Thy righteous ordinances.
106Io ho giurato, e l'atterrò, Di osservare le leggi della tua giustizia.
107I am afflicted very much; quicken me, O LORD, according unto Thy word.
107Io son sommamente afflitto; O Signore, vivificami secondo la tua parola.
108Accept, I beseech Thee, the freewill-offerings of my mouth, O LORD, and teach me Thine ordinances.
108Deh! Signore, gradisci le offerte volontarie della mia bocca, Ed insegnami le tue leggi.
109My soul is continually in my hand; yet have I not forgotten Thy law.
109Io ho l'anima mia del continuo in palma di mano; E pur non ho dimenticata la tua Legge.
110The wicked have laid a snare for me; yet went I not astray from Thy precepts.
110Gli empi mi hanno tesi de' lacci; E pur non mi sono sviato da' tuoi comandamenti.
111Thy testimonies have I taken as a heritage for ever; for they are the rejoicing of my heart.
111Le tue testimonianze son la mia eredità in perpetuo; Perciocchè esse son la letizia del mio cuore.
112I have inclined my heart to perform Thy statutes, for ever, at every step.
112Io ho inchinato il mio cuore a mettere in opera i tuoi statuti, In perpetuo, infino al fine.
113SAMECH. I hate them that are of a double mind; but Thy law do I love.
113Io odio i discorsi; Ma amo la tua Legge.
114Thou art my covert and my shield; in Thy word do I hope.
114Tu sei il mio nascondimento, ed il mio scudo; Io spero nella tua parola.
115Depart from me, ye evildoers; that I may keep the commandments of my God.
115Ritraetevi da me, maligni; Ed io guarderò i comandamenti del mio Dio.
116Uphold me according unto Thy word, that I may live; and put me not to shame in my hope.
116Sostienmi, secondo la tua parola, ed io viverò; E non rendermi confuso della mia speranza.
117Support Thou me, and I shall be saved; and I will occupy myself with Thy statutes continually.
117Confortami, ed io sarò salvato; E riguarderò del continuo a' tuoi statuti.
118Thou hast made light of all them that err from Thy statutes; for their deceit is vain.
118Tu calpesti tutti quelli che si sviano da' tuoi statuti; Perciocchè la lor frode è una cosa falsa.
119Thou puttest away all the wicked of the earth like dross; therefore I love Thy testimonies.
119Tu riduci al niente tutti gli empi della terra, come schiume; Perciò io amo le tue testimonianze.
120My flesh shuddereth for fear of Thee; and I am afraid of Thy judgments.
120La mia carne si raccapriccia tutta per lo spavento di te; Ed io temo de' tuoi giudicii.
121AIN. I have done justice and righteousness; leave me not to mine oppressors.
121Io ho fatto ciò che è diritto e giusto; Non abbandonarmi a quelli che mi oppressano.
122Be surety for Thy servant for good; let not the proud oppress me.
122Da' sicurtà per lo tuo servitore in bene, E non lasciar che i superbi mi oppressino.
123Mine eyes fail for Thy salvation, and for Thy righteous word.
123Gli occhi miei vengono meno dietro alla tua salute, Ed alla parola della tua giustizia.
124Deal with Thy servant according unto Thy mercy, and teach me Thy statutes.
124Opera inverso il tuo servitore secondo la tua benignità, Ed insegnami i tuoi statuti.
125I am Thy servant, give me understanding, that I may know Thy testimonies.
125Io son tuo servitore; dammi intelletto; Acciocchè io possa conoscere le tue testimonianze.
126It is time for the LORD to work; they have made void Thy law.
126Egli è tempo che il Signore operi; Essi hanno annullata la tua Legge.
127Therefore I love Thy commandments above gold, yea, above fine gold.
127Perciò io amo i tuoi comandamenti più che oro; Anzi più che oro finissimo.
128Therefore I esteem all Thy precepts concerning all things to be right; every false way I hate.
128Perciò approvo, come diritti, tutti i tuoi comandamenti intorno ad ogni cosa; Ed odio ogni sentiero di menzogna.
129PE. Thy testimonies are wonderful; therefore doth my soul keep them.
129Le tue testimonianze son cose maravigliose; Perciò l'anima mia le ha guardate.
130The opening of Thy words giveth light; it giveth understanding unto the simple.
130La dichiarazione delle tue parole allumina, E dà intelletto a' semplici.
131I opened wide my mouth, and panted; for I longed for Thy commandments.
131Io ho aperta la bocca, ed ho ansato; Perciocchè io ho bramati i tuoi comandamenti.
132Turn Thee towards me, and be gracious unto me, as is Thy wont to do unto those that love Thy name.
132Riguarda a me, ed abbi pietà di me, Secondo ch'è ragionevole di fare inverso quelli che amano il tuo Nome.
133Order my footsteps by Thy word; and let not any iniquity have dominion over me.
133Ferma i miei passi nella tua parola; E non lasciare che alcuna iniquità signoreggi sopra me.
134Redeem me from the oppression of man, and I will observe Thy precepts.
134Riscuotimi dall'oppressione degli uomini; Ed io osserverò i tuoi comandamenti.
135Make Thy face to shine upon Thy servant; and teach me Thy statutes.
135Fa' rilucere il tuo volto sopra il tuo servitore;
136Mine eyes run down with rivers of water, because they observe not Thy law.
136Ed insegnami i tuoi statuti. Ruscelli d'acque mi scendono giù dagli occhi; Perciocchè la tua Legge non è osservata.
137TZADE. Righteous art Thou, O LORD, and upright are Thy judgments.
137O Signore, tu sei giusto, E i tuoi giudicii son diritti.
138Thou hast commanded Thy testimonies in righteousness and exceeding faithfulness.
138Tu hai strettamente comandata la giustizia, E la verità delle tue testimonianze.
139My zeal hath undone me, because mine adversaries have forgotten Thy words.
139Il mio zelo mi consuma; Perciocchè i miei nemici hanno dimenticate le tue parole.
140Thy word is tried to the uttermost, and Thy servant loveth it.
140La tua parola è sommamente purgata; E però il tuo servitore l'ama.
141I am small and despised; yet have I not forgotten Thy precepts.
141Io son piccolo e sprezzato; Ma però non ho dimenticati i tuoi comandamenti.
142Thy righteousness is an everlasting righteousness, and Thy law is the truth.
142La tua giustizia è una giustizia eterna, E la tua Legge è verità.
143Trouble and anguish have overtaken me; yet Thy commandments are my delight.
143Tribolazione e distretta mi hanno colto; Ma i tuoi comandamenti sono i miei diletti.
144Thy testimonies are righteous for ever; give me understanding, and I shall live.
144Le tue testimonianze sono una giustizia eterna; Dammi intelletto, ed io viverò.
145KOPH. I have called with my whole heart; answer me, O LORD; I will keep Thy statutes.
145Io ho gridato con tutto il cuore; rispondimi, Signore; Ed io guarderò i tuoi statuti.
146I have called Thee, save me, and I will observe Thy testimonies.
146Io ti ho invocato; salvami, Ed io osserverò le tue testimonianze.
147I rose early at dawn, and cried; I hoped in Thy word.
147Io mi son fatto avanti all'alba, ed ho gridato; Io ho sperato nella tua parola.
148Mine eyes forestalled the night-watches, that I might meditate in Thy word.
148Gli occhi miei prevengono le vigilie della notte . Per meditar nella tua parola.
149Hear my voice according unto Thy lovingkindness; quicken me, O LORD, as Thou art wont.

150They draw nigh that follow after wickedness; they are far from Thy law.

152Of old have I known from Thy testimonies that Thou hast founded them for ever.
152Gran tempo è che io so questo delle tue testimonianze, Che tu le hai stabilite in eterno.
153RESH. O see mine affliction, and rescue me; for I do not forget Thy law.
153Riguarda alla mia afflizione, e tramme ne fuori; Perciocchè io non ho dimenticata la tua Legge.
154Plead Thou my cause, and redeem me; quicken me according to Thy word.
154Dibatti la mia lite, e riscuotimi; Vivificami, secondo la tua parola.
155Salvation is far from the wicked; for they seek not Thy statutes.
155La salute è lungi dagli empi; Perciocchè non ricercano i tuoi statuti.
156Great are Thy compassions, O LORD; quicken me as Thou art wont.
156Le tue misericordie son grandi, Signore; Vivificami secondo ciò che hai ordinato.
157Many are my persecutors and mine adversaries; yet have I not turned aside from Thy testimonies.
157I miei persecutori ed i miei nemici son molti; Ma io non mi sono deviato dalle tue testimonianze.
158I beheld them that were faithless, and strove with them; because they observed not Thy word.
158Io ho veduti i disleali, e ne ho sentita gran noia; Perciocchè non osservano la tua parola.
159O see how I love Thy precepts; quicken me, O LORD, according to Thy lovingkindness.
159Vedi quanto amo i tuoi comandamenti! Signore, vivificami, secondo la tua benignità.
160The beginning of Thy word is truth; and all Thy righteous ordinance endureth for ever.
160La somma della tua parola è verità; E tutte le leggi della tua giustizia sono in eterno.
161SCHIN. Princes have persecuted me without a cause; but my heart standeth in awe of Thy words.
161I principi m'hanno perseguitato senza cagione; Ma il mio cuore ha spavento della tua parola.
162I rejoice at Thy word, as one that findeth great spoil.
162Io mi rallegro per la tua parola, Come una persona che avesse trovate grandi spoglie.
163I hate and abhor falsehood; Thy law do I love.
163Io odio ed abbomino la menzogna; Ma io amo la tua Legge.
164Seven times a day do I praise Thee, because of Thy righteous ordinances.
164Io ti lodo sette volte il dì, Per li giudicii della tua giustizia.
165Great peace have they that love Thy law; and there is no stumbling for them.
165Quelli che amano la tua Legge godono di molta pace; E non vi è alcuno intoppo per loro.
166I have hoped for Thy salvation, O LORD, and have done Thy commandments.
166Signore, io ho sperato nella tua salute; Ed ho messi in opera i tuoi comandamenti.
167My soul hath observed Thy testimonies; and I love them exceedingly.
167L'anima mia ha osservate le tue testimonianze; Ed io le ho grandemente amate.
168I have observed Thy precepts and Thy testimonies; for all my ways are before Thee.
168Io ho osservati i tuoi comandamenti, e le tue testimonianze; Perciocchè tutte le mie vie sono nel tuo cospetto.
169TAV. Let my cry come near before Thee, O LORD; give me understanding according to Thy word.
169Pervenga il mio grido al tuo cospetto, o Signore; Dammi intelletto, secondo la tua parola.
170Let my supplication come before Thee; deliver me according to Thy word.
170Venga la mia supplicazione in tua presenza; Riscuotimi, secondo la tua parola.
171Let my lips utter praise: because Thou teachest me Thy statutes.
171Le mie labbra sgorgheranno lode, Quando tu mi avrai insegnati i tuoi statuti.
172Let my tongue sing of Thy word; for all Thy commandments are righteousness.
172La mia lingua ragionerà della tua parola; Perciocchè tutti i tuoi comandamenti son giustizia.
173Let Thy hand be ready to help me; for I have chosen Thy precepts.
173Siami in aiuto la tua mano; Perciocchè io ho eletti i tuoi comandamenti.
174I have longed for Thy salvation, O LORD; and Thy law is my delight.
174Signore, io ho desiderata la tua salute; E la tua Legge è ogni mio diletto.
175Let my soul live, and it shall praise Thee; and let Thine ordinances help me.
175Viva l'anima mia, ed ella ti loderà; E soccorranmi i tuoi ordinamenti.
176I have gone astray like a lost sheep; seek Thy servant; for I have not forgotten Thy commandments.
176Io vo errando, come una pecora smarrita; cerca il tuo servitore; Perciocchè io non ho dimenticati i tuoi comandamenti.
