Psalms 149
JPS Tanakh (Jewish Publication Society, 1917)
Diodati Bibbia 1885
1Hallelujah. Sing unto the LORD a new song, and His praise in the assembly of the saints.
1ALLELUIA.
2Let Israel rejoice in his Maker; let the children of Zion be joyful in their King.
3Let them praise His name in the dance; let them sing praises unto Him with the timbrel and harp.
4For the LORD taketh pleasure in His people; He adorneth the humble with salvation.
5Let the saints exult in glory; let them sing for joy upon their beds.
5I santi festeggeranno con gloria, Canteranno sopra i lor letti;
6Let the high praises of God be in their mouth, and a two-edged sword in their hand;
6Avranno nella lor gola le esaltazioni di Dio, E nelle mani spade a due tagli;
7To execute vengeance upon the nations, and chastisements upon the peoples;
7Per far vendetta fra le genti, E castigamenti fra i popoli.
8To bind their kings with chains, and their nobles with fetters of iron;
8Per legare i loro re con catene, E gli onorati d'infra loro con ceppi di ferro;
9To execute upon them the judgment written; He is the glory of all His saints. Hallelujah.
Alleluia.
