1A Psalm of David. The LORD saith unto my lord: 'Sit thou at My right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool.'
1یهوه به خداوند من گفت: «به‌دست راست من بنشین تا دشمنانت را پای انداز تو سازم.»
2The rod of Thy strength the LORD will send out of Zion: 'Rule thou in the midst of thine enemies.'
2خداوند عصای قوت تو را ازصهیون خواهد فرستاد. در میان دشمنان خودحکمرانی کن.
3Thy people offer themselves willingly in the day of thy warfare; in adornments of holiness, from the womb of the dawn, thine is the dew of thy youth.
3قوم تو در روز قوت تو، هدایای تبرعی می‌باشند. در زینتهای قدوسیت، شبنم جوانی تو از رحم صحرگاه برای توست.
4The LORD hath sworn, and will not repent: 'Thou art a priest for ever after the manner of Melchizedek.'
4خداوند قسم خورده است و پشیمان نخواهدشد که «تو کاهن هستی تا ابدالاباد، به رتبه ملکیصدق.»
5The Lord at thy right hand doth crush kings in the day of His wrath.
5خداوند که به‌دست راست توست؛ در روز غضب خود پادشاهان را شکست خواهد داد.
6He will judge among the nations; He filleth it with dead bodies, He crusheth the head over a wide land.
6در میان امتها داوری خواهد کرد. از لاشها پر خواهد ساخت و سر آنها را درزمین وسیع خواهد کوبید.
7He will drink of the brook in the way; therefore will he lift up the head.
7از نهر سر راه خواهد نوشید. بنابراین سر خود را بر‌خواهدافراشت.
