1Hallelujah; for it is good to sing praises unto our God; for it is pleasant, and praise is comely.
1Хвалїте Господа! Бо се благо; сьпівайте Богові нашому, бо се любо; пісня похвальна належить ся йому.
2The LORD doth build up Jerusalem, He gathereth together the dispersed of Israel;
2Господь будує Єрусалима, він збирає прогнаних людей Ізраїля.
3Who healeth the broken in heart, and bindeth up their wounds.
3Він сцїляє розбитих серцем, і завязує рани їх.
4He counteth the number of the stars; He giveth them all their names.
4Він перелїчує безлїч зьвізд, і кожну імям називає.
5Great is our Lord, and mighty in power; His understanding is infinite.
5Великий наш Владика, і велика його сила; розумінню його нема міри.
6The LORD upholdeth the humble; He bringeth the wicked down to the ground.
6Господь нужденних підносить, а беззаконних принижує до землї.
7Sing unto the LORD with thanksgiving, sing praises upon the harp unto our God;
7Засьпівайте Господеві похвальну пісню! Сьпівайте псальми Господеві нашому при гуслях!
8Who covereth the heaven with clouds, who prepareth rain for the earth, who maketh the mountains to spring with grass.
8Він хмарами покриває небо, і посилає дощ на землю, він ростить траву на горах;
9He giveth to the beast his food, and to the young ravens which cry.
9Дає скотинї поживу її, і молодим крукам, що квилять.
10He delighteth not in the strength of the horse; He taketh no pleasure in the legs of a man.
10Не в силї коня він любується, і не стегна пареня йому до вподоби.
11The LORD taketh pleasure in them that fear Him, in those that wait for His mercy.
11Господеві любі боячіся його, і хто вповає на милість його.
12Glorify the LORD, O Jerusalem; praise thy God, O Zion.
12Возвісти славу Господеві. Єрусалиме! Хвали, Сионе, Бога твого!
13For He hath made strong the bars of thy gates; He hath blessed thy children within thee.
13Він бо укріпив засуви брам твоїх, благословить дїтей твоїх серед тебе;
14He maketh thy borders peace; He giveth thee in plenty the fat of wheat.
14Ставить мир у твоїх границях, насичує тебе плодом пшеницї;
15He sendeth out His commandment upon earth; His word runneth very swiftly.
15Він посилає слово твоє на землю, і скоро несуться глаголи його;
16He giveth snow like wool; He scattereth the hoar-frost like ashes.
16Дає снїг, як вовну, як попіл, іней розсипає;
17He casteth forth His ice like crumbs; who can stand before His cold?
17Кидає град грудками; хто встоїть перед його морозом?
18He sendeth forth His word, and melteth them; He causeth His wind to blow, and the waters flow.
18Пошле слово своє, і все тане; подує вітром своїм, — шумять води.
19He declareth His word unto Jacob, His statutes and His ordinances unto Israel.
19Він звіщає слово своє Якову, устави свої і присуди свої Ізраїлю.
20He hath not dealt so with any nation; and as for His ordinances, they have not known them. Hallelujah.
20Жадному народові не вдїяв того, і присудів його вони не пізнали. Алилуя!
