1Hallelujah; for it is good to sing praises unto our God; for it is pleasant, and praise is comely.
1จงสรรเสริญพระยาห์เวห์! การร้องเพลงสรรเสริญพระเจ้าของเรานั้นเป็นสิ่งดี การสรรเสริญพระองค์ช่างน่าชื่นใจและเหมาะสม
2The LORD doth build up Jerusalem, He gathereth together the dispersed of Israel;
2พระยาห์เวห์ ทรงสร้างเยรูซาเล็มขึ้น ทรงรวบรวมคนอิสราเอลที่ถูกขับไล่ให้กลับมา
3Who healeth the broken in heart, and bindeth up their wounds.
3พระองค์ทรงรักษาคนที่หัวใจแตกสลาย และพันแผลให้พวกเขา
4He counteth the number of the stars; He giveth them all their names.
4พระองค์ทรงนับจำนวนดวงดาว และเรียกทุกดวงตามชื่อ
5Great is our Lord, and mighty in power; His understanding is infinite.
5องค์เจ้านายของเราทรงยิ่งใหญ่และเปี่ยมด้วยฤทธานุภาพ ความเข้าใจของพระองค์ไม่มีขอบเขต
6The LORD upholdeth the humble; He bringeth the wicked down to the ground.
6พระยาห์เวห์ทรงพยุงคนถ่อมตน แต่ทรงกดคนชั่วลงถึงพื้น
7Sing unto the LORD with thanksgiving, sing praises upon the harp unto our God;
7จงร้องเพลงขอบคุณพระยาห์เวห์ ร้องเพลงสรรเสริญพระเจ้าของเราด้วยพิณ
8Who covereth the heaven with clouds, who prepareth rain for the earth, who maketh the mountains to spring with grass.
8พระองค์ทรงคลุมท้องฟ้าด้วยเมฆ ทรงเตรียมฝนไว้ให้แผ่นดิน และทำให้หญ้างอกบนภูเขา
9He giveth to the beast his food, and to the young ravens which cry.
9ทรงให้อาหารแก่สัตว์เลี้ยง และแก่ลูกอีกาที่ร้องหา
10He delighteth not in the strength of the horse; He taketh no pleasure in the legs of a man.
10พระองค์ไม่ได้ทรงชื่นชมกำลังของม้า ไม่ได้ทรงพอใจในกำลังขาของมนุษย์
11The LORD taketh pleasure in them that fear Him, in those that wait for His mercy.
11พระยาห์เวห์ทรงพอพระทัยในคนที่ยำเกรงพระองค์ ในคนที่ฝากความหวังไว้กับความรักมั่นคงของพระองค์
12Glorify the LORD, O Jerusalem; praise thy God, O Zion.
12เยรูซาเล็มเอ๋ย จงสรรเสริญพระยาห์เวห์! ศิโยนเอ๋ย จงสรรเสริญพระเจ้าของเจ้า!
13For He hath made strong the bars of thy gates; He hath blessed thy children within thee.
13เพราะพระองค์ทรงทำให้กลอนประตูของเจ้าแข็งแรง และอวยพรลูกหลานที่อยู่ภายในเจ้า
14He maketh thy borders peace; He giveth thee in plenty the fat of wheat.
14พระองค์ประทานสันติสุขภายในเขตแดนของเจ้า และเลี้ยงเจ้าให้อิ่มด้วยข้าวสาลีชั้นเลิศ
15He sendeth out His commandment upon earth; His word runneth very swiftly.
15พระองค์ทรงส่งคำบัญชาไปทั่วแผ่นดิน ถ้อยคำของพระองค์วิ่งไปอย่างรวดเร็ว
16He giveth snow like wool; He scattereth the hoar-frost like ashes.
16พระองค์ประทานหิมะดุจขนแกะ และโปรยน้ำค้างแข็งดุจขี้เถ้า
17He casteth forth His ice like crumbs; who can stand before His cold?
17พระองค์ทรงขว้างลูกเห็บลงมาดุจก้อนกรวด ใครจะทนความหนาวเย็นของพระองค์ได้?
18He sendeth forth His word, and melteth them; He causeth His wind to blow, and the waters flow.
18พระองค์ทรงส่งถ้อยคำออกไป แล้วสิ่งเหล่านั้นก็ละลาย ทรงให้ลมพัด แล้วน้ำก็ไหล
19He declareth His word unto Jacob, His statutes and His ordinances unto Israel.
19พระองค์ทรงเปิดเผยถ้อยคำของพระองค์แก่ยาโคบ กฎเกณฑ์และข้อกำหนดของพระองค์แก่อิสราเอล
20He hath not dealt so with any nation; and as for His ordinances, they have not known them. Hallelujah.
20พระองค์ไม่ได้ทรงทำเช่นนี้แก่ชนชาติอื่นใด พวกเขาไม่รู้ข้อกำหนดของพระองค์ จงสรรเสริญพระยาห์เวห์!
