1THE WORD of the LORD that came to Micah the Morashtite in the days of Jotham, Ahaz, and Hezekiah, kings of Judah, which he saw concerning Samaria and Jerusalem.
1ถ้อยคำจากพระยาห์เวห์มาถึงมีคาห์ชาวโมราเชท ในสมัยโยธาม อาหัส และเฮเซคียาห์ กษัตริย์แห่งยูดาห์ เป็นสิ่งที่เขาเห็นเกี่ยวกับสะมาเรียและเยรูซาเล็ม
2Hear, ye peoples, all of you; Hearken, O earth, and all that therein is; and let the Lord GOD be witness against you, the Lord from His holy temple.
2ชนชาติทั้งหลาย จงฟัง ทุกคนจงฟัง! แผ่นดินโลกและทุกสิ่งที่อยู่ในนั้น จงเงี่ยหูฟัง ขอให้พระผู้เป็นเจ้าพระยาห์เวห์เป็นพยานกล่าวโทษพวกคุณ พระผู้เป็นเจ้าจากพระวิหารอันศักดิ์สิทธิ์ของพระองค์
3For, behold, the LORD cometh forth out of His place, and will come down, and tread upon the high places of the earth.
3เพราะนี่ พระยาห์เวห์กำลังออกจากที่ประทับ จะลงมาเหยียบย่ำที่สูงทั้งหลายบนแผ่นดินโลก
4And the mountains shall be molten under Him, and the valleys shall be cleft, as wax before the fire, as waters that are poured down a steep place.
4ภูเขาละลายอยู่ใต้พระองค์ หุบเขาแยกออกเหมือนขี้ผึ้งเมื่อเจอไฟ เหมือนน้ำที่เทลงมาตามทางลาดชัน
5For the transgression of Jacob is all this, and for the sins of the house of Israel. What is the transgression of Jacob? is it not Samaria? And what are the high places of Judah? are they not Jerusalem?
5“ทั้งหมดนี้เพราะยาโคบไม่เชื่อฟัง และเพราะบาปของเชื้อสายอิสราเอล การไม่เชื่อฟังของยาโคบคืออะไร? ไม่ใช่สะมาเรียหรอกหรือ? แล้วที่สูงทั้งหลายของยูดาห์คืออะไร? ไม่ใช่เยรูซาเล็มหรอกหรือ?
6Therefore I will make Samaria a heap in the field, a place for the planting of vineyards; and I will pour down the stones thereof into the valley, and I will uncover the foundations thereof.
6เพราะฉะนั้น เราจะทำให้สะมาเรียเป็นเหมือนกองซากปรักหักพังกลางทุ่ง เป็นเหมือนพื้นที่สำหรับปลูกสวนองุ่น เราจะเทหินของเมืองลงไปในหุบเขา และเผยฐานรากของเมืองให้เห็น
7And all her graven images shall be beaten to pieces, and all her hires shall be burned with fire, and all her idols will I lay desolate; for of the hire of a harlot hath she gathered them, and unto the hire of a harlot shall they return.
7รูปเคารพทั้งหมดของเธอจะถูกทุบเป็นชิ้น ๆ ของถวายทั้งหมดในวิหารของเธอจะถูกเผาไฟ เราจะทำลายรูปบูชาทั้งหมดของเธอ เพราะเธอรวบรวมสิ่งเหล่านี้มาจากค่าจ้างโสเภณี และสิ่งเหล่านี้ก็จะกลับไปเป็นค่าจ้างโสเภณีอีก”
8For this will I wail and howl, I will go stripped and naked; I will make a wailing like the jackals, and a mourning like the ostriches.
8เพราะเหตุนี้ ข้าพเจ้าจะคร่ำครวญและร้องไห้โหยหวน จะเดินไปโดยไม่มีเสื้อผ้า เปลือยกาย จะหอนเหมือนหมาจิ้งจอก และร้องคร่ำครวญเหมือนนกกระจอกเทศ
9For her wound is incurable; for it is come even unto Judah; it reacheth unto the gate of my people, even to Jerusalem.
9เพราะบาดแผลของเธอรักษาไม่หาย มันลามมาถึงยูดาห์แล้ว มาถึงประตูเมืองของประชาชนข้าพเจ้า ถึงเยรูซาเล็มแล้ว
10Tell it not in Gath, weep not at all; at Beth-le-aphrah roll thyself in the dust.
10อย่าบอกเรื่องนี้ในกัท อย่าร้องไห้เลย ที่เบธโอฟราห์ ข้าพเจ้าเกลือกกลิ้งตัวอยู่ในฝุ่น
11Pass ye away, O inhabitant of Saphir, in nakedness and shame; the inhabitant of Zaanan is not come forth; the wailing of Beth-ezel shall take from you the standing-place thereof.
11ชาวชาฟีร์ จงผ่านไปอย่างเปลือยกายและอับอาย ชาวซาอานันจะไม่ออกมา เสียงคร่ำครวญของเบธเอเซลจะพรากการคุ้มครองของเขาไปจากเจ้า
12For the inhabitant of Maroth waiteth anxiously for good; because evil is come down from the LORD unto the gate of Jerusalem.
12เพราะชาวมาโรทเฝ้ารอสิ่งดีด้วยความกระวนกระวาย เพราะภัยพิบัติจากพระยาห์เวห์ลงมาถึงประตูเยรูซาเล็มแล้ว
13Bind the chariots to the swift steeds, O inhabitant of Lachish; she was the beginning of sin to the daughter of Zion; for the transgressions of Israel are found in thee.
13ชาวลาคีช จงผูกม้าเร็วเข้ากับรถศึก เธอเป็นจุดเริ่มต้นของบาปสำหรับบุตรสาวแห่งศิโยน เพราะพบการล่วงละเมิดของอิสราเอลอยู่ในเมืองนี้
14Therefore shalt thou give a parting gift to Moresheth-gath; the houses of Achzib shall be a deceitful thing unto the kings of Israel.
14เพราะฉะนั้น เจ้าจะให้ของขวัญอำลาแก่โมเรเชทกัท บ้านทั้งหลายในอัคซีบจะเป็นสิ่งหลอกลวงสำหรับกษัตริย์ทั้งหลายแห่งอิสราเอล
15I will yet bring unto thee, O inhabitant of Mareshah, him that shall possess thee; the glory of Israel shall come even unto Adullam.
15ชาวมาเรชาห์ เรายังจะนำผู้พิชิตมาหาพวกคุณ เกียรติรุ่งเรืองของอิสราเอลจะมาถึงอาดุลลัม
16Make thee bald, and poll thee for the children of thy delight; enlarge thy baldness as the vulture; for they are gone into captivity from thee.
16จงโกนศีรษะ และตัดผมเพื่อลูก ๆ ที่พวกคุณรัก โกนให้ศีรษะโล้นยิ่งขึ้นเหมือนแร้ง เพราะลูก ๆ ถูกพาไปเป็นเชลย พรากจากพวกคุณแล้ว!
