1Hallelujah. Happy is the man that feareth the LORD, that delighteth greatly in His commandments.
1จงสรรเสริญพระยาห์เวห์! คนที่ยำเกรงพระยาห์เวห์ ย่อมเป็นสุข เขายินดีอย่างยิ่งในคำบัญชาของพระองค์
2His seed shall be mighty upon earth; the generation of the upright shall be blessed.
2ลูกหลานของเขาจะมีกำลังในแผ่นดิน เชื้อสายของคนเที่ยงตรงจะได้รับพร
3Wealth and riches are in his house; and his merit endureth for ever.
3ทรัพย์สินและความมั่งคั่งอยู่ในบ้านของเขา ความชอบธรรมของเขาดำรงอยู่ตลอดไป
4Unto the upright He shineth as a light in the darkness, gracious, and full of compassion, and righteous.
4แสงสว่างผุดขึ้นในความมืดเพื่อคนเที่ยงตรง เปี่ยมด้วยความกรุณา เมตตา และความชอบธรรม
5Well is it with the man that dealeth graciously and lendeth, that ordereth his affairs rightfully.
5คนที่มีน้ำใจและให้ผู้อื่นยืมย่อมอยู่ดี เขาจะจัดการเรื่องของตนด้วยความยุติธรรม
6For he shall never be moved; the righteous shall be had in everlasting remembrance.
6เพราะเขาจะไม่มีวันหวั่นไหว คนชอบธรรมจะเป็นที่จดจำตลอดไป
7He shall not be afraid of evil tidings; his heart is stedfast, trusting in the LORD.
7เขาไม่หวาดกลัวข่าวร้าย ใจมั่นคง เพราะวางใจในพระยาห์เวห์
8His heart is established, he shall not be afraid, until he gaze upon his adversaries.
8ใจของเขาตั้งมั่น แม้ในที่สุดได้เห็นศัตรูของตน ก็ไม่หวาดกลัว
9He hath scattered abroad, he hath given to the needy; his righteousness endureth for ever; his horn shall be exalted in honour.
9เขาแจกจ่ายให้คนยากจน ความชอบธรรมของเขาดำรงอยู่ตลอดไป เขาของผู้นั้นจะเชิดสูงอย่างมีเกียรติ
10The wicked shall see it, and be vexed; he shall gnash with his teeth, and melt away; the desire of the wicked shall perish.
10คนชั่วจะเห็นแล้วทุกข์ใจ กัดฟันแล้วละลายหายไป ความปรารถนาของคนชั่วจะสูญสิ้น
