1Michtam of David. Keep me, O God; for I have taken refuge in Thee.
1Proteja-me, ó Deus, pois em você me refugio.
2I have said unto the LORD: 'Thou art my Lord; I have no good but in Thee';
2Minha alma, você disse ao SENHOR: “Você é o meu Senhor. Além de você, não tenho bem algum.”
3As for the holy that are in the earth, they are the excellent in whom is all my delight.
3Quanto aos santos que estão na terra, eles são os notáveis em quem está todo o meu prazer.
4Let the idols of them be multiplied that make suit unto another; their drink-offerings of blood will I not offer, nor take their names upon my lips.
4As dores daqueles que dão presentes a outro deus serão multiplicadas. Não oferecerei suas libações de sangue, nem tomarei os seus nomes em meus lábios.
5O LORD, the portion of mine inheritance and of my cup, Thou maintainest my lot.
5O SENHOR designou a minha porção e o meu cálice. Você garante o meu quinhão.
6The lines are fallen unto me in pleasant places; yea, I have a goodly heritage.
6As linhas caíram para mim em lugares agradáveis. Sim, eu tenho uma bela herança.
7I will bless the LORD, who hath given me counsel; yea, in the night seasons my reins instruct me.
7Abençoarei o SENHOR, que me deu conselho. Sim, o meu coração me instrui durante a noite.
8I have set the LORD always before me; surely He is at my right hand, I shall not be moved.
8Tenho posto o SENHOR sempre diante de mim. Porque ele está à minha direita, não serei abalado.
9Therefore my heart is glad, and my glory rejoiceth; my flesh also dwelleth in safety;
9Portanto, o meu coração se alegra, e a minha língua exulta. Meu corpo também habitará em segurança.
10For Thou wilt not abandon my soul to the nether-world; neither wilt Thou suffer Thy godly one to see the pit.
10Pois você não deixará a minha alma no Seol, nem permitirá que o seu santo veja a corrupção.
11Thou makest me to know the path of life; in Thy presence is fulness of joy, in Thy right hand bliss for evermore.
11Você me mostrará o caminho da vida. Na sua presença há plenitude de alegria. Na sua mão direita há delícias para todo o sempre.
