1Hallelujah. Praise, O ye servants of the LORD, praise the name of the LORD.
1Louvem ao SENHOR! Louvem, servos do SENHOR, louvem o nome do SENHOR.
2Blessed be the name of the LORD from this time forth and for ever.
2Bendito seja o nome do SENHOR, desde agora e para sempre.
3From the rising of the sun unto the going down thereof the LORD'S name is to be praised.
3Desde o nascer do sol até o seu poente, seja louvado o nome do SENHOR.
4The LORD is high above all nations, His glory is above the heavens.
4O SENHOR está exaltado acima de todas as nações, e a sua glória acima dos céus.
5Who is like unto the LORD our God, that is enthroned on high,
5Quem é como o SENHOR, o nosso Deus, que tem o seu trono nas alturas,
6That looketh down low upon heaven and upon the earth?
6que se inclina para ver o que há nos céus e na terra?
7Who raiseth up the poor out of the dust, and lifteth up the needy out of the dunghill;
7Ele levanta o pobre do pó, e ergue o necessitado do monte de cinzas,
8That He may set him with princes, even with the princes of His people.
8para assentá-lo com os príncipes, sim, com os príncipes do seu povo.
9Who maketh the barren woman to dwell in her house as a joyful mother of children. Hallelujah.
9Ele estabelece a mulher estéril em seu lar como uma alegre mãe de filhos. Louvem ao SENHOR!
