1The LORD reigneth; let the earth rejoice; let the multitude of isles be glad.
1O SENHOR reina! Alegre-se a terra! Alegre-se a multidão das ilhas!
2Clouds and darkness are round about Him; righteousness and justice are the foundation of His throne.
2Nuvens e trevas estão ao seu redor. Justiça e direito são o fundamento do seu trono.
3A fire goeth before Him, and burneth up His adversaries round about.
3Um fogo vai adiante dele, e consome os seus adversários de todos os lados.
4His lightnings lighted up the world; the earth saw, and trembled.
4Seus relâmpagos iluminam o mundo. A terra vê, e treme.
5The mountains melted like wax at the presence of the LORD, at the presence of the Lord of the whole earth.
5Os montes se derretem como cera na presença do SENHOR, na presença do Senhor de toda a terra.
6The heavens declared His righteousness, and all the peoples saw His glory.
6Os céus anunciam a sua justiça. Todos os povos viram a sua glória.
7Ashamed be all they that serve graven images, that boast themselves of things of nought; bow down to Him, all ye gods.
7Sejam envergonhados todos os que servem a imagens esculpidas, que se gloriam em seus ídolos. Adorem-no, todos vocês, deuses!
8Zion heard and was glad, and the daughters of Judah rejoiced; because of Thy judgments, O LORD.
8Sião ouviu e se alegrou. As filhas de Judá exultaram por causa dos teus juízos, SENHOR.
9For Thou, LORD, art most high above all the earth; Thou art exalted far above all gods.
9Pois tu, SENHOR, és o Altíssimo sobre toda a terra. Tu és exaltado muito acima de todos os deuses.
10O ye that love the LORD, hate evil; He preserveth the souls of His saints; He delivered them out of the hand of the wicked.
10Vocês que amam o SENHOR, odeiem o mal! Ele preserva as almas dos seus santos. Ele os livra da mão dos ímpios.
11Light is sown for the righteous, and gladness for the upright in heart.
11A luz é semeada para os justos, e a alegria para os retos de coração.
12Be glad in the LORD, ye righteous; and give thanks to His holy name.
12Alegrem-se no SENHOR, vocês, justos! Deem graças ao seu santo Nome.
