1For the Leader. A Psalm of David; to make memorial. O God, to deliver me, O LORD, to help me, make haste.
1Apressa-te, ó Deus, em me livrar. Vem depressa me socorrer, SENHOR.
2Let them be ashamed and abashed that seek after my soul; let them be turned backward and brought to confusion that delight in my hurt.
2Sejam frustrados e confundidos os que buscam a minha alma. Recuem em desonra aqueles que desejam a minha ruína.
3Let them be turned back by reason of their shame that say: 'Aha, aha.'
3Recuem por causa da sua vergonha os que dizem: “Ahá! Ahá!”
4Let all those that seek Thee rejoice and be glad in Thee; and let such as love Thy salvation say continually: 'Let God be magnified.'
4Regozijem-se e alegrem-se em ti todos os que te buscam. Digam continuamente os que amam a tua salvação: “Exaltado seja Deus!”
5But I am poor and needy; O God, make haste unto me; Thou art my help and my deliverer; O LORD, tarry not.
5Eu, porém, sou pobre e necessitado. Vem a mim depressa, ó Deus. Tu és o meu socorro e o meu libertador. SENHOR, não te demores.
