1Kai kah koehnah Pathen aw hilphah boeh.
1For the Leader. A Psalm of David. O God of my praise, keep not silence;
2Halang kah a ka neh hlangthai palat kah a ka te kai taengah ong uh tih a lai loh a honghi a thui uh.
2For the mouth of the wicked and the mouth of deceit have they opened against me; they have spoken unto me with a lying tongue.
3Hmuhuetnah olka neh kai m'vael uh tih a honghi nen khaw kai n'nen uh.
3They compassed me about also with words of hatred, and fought against me without a cause.
4Kai kah lungnah dongah kai n'khingkhoek uh cakhaw kai loh thangthuinah ka khueh pah.
4In return for my love they are my adversaries; but I am all prayer.
5Hno then te kai taengah boethae neh, kai kah lungnah te hmuhuetnah neh a khueh uh.
5And they have laid upon me evil for good, and hatred for my love:
6Anih te halang loh cawh saeh lamtah a bantang kut ah Satan pai pah saeh.
6'Set Thou a wicked man over him; and let an adversary stand at his right hand.
7Anih te laitloek vaengah a halang phoe pah saeh lamtah a thangthuinah te tholh la poeh saeh.
7When he is judged, let him go forth condemned; and let his prayer be turned into sin.
8A hing tue khaw a bawn la om saeh lamtah, a cawhnah te hlang tloe loh rhawt saeh.
8Let his days be few; let another take his charge.
9Let his children be fatherless, and his wife a widow.
10A ca rhoek khaw poeng poeng uh saeh lamtah buh bih uh saeh. A imrhong khui lamkah vawtthaih uh saeh.
10Let his children be vagabonds, and beg; and let them seek their bread out of their desolate places.
11A khueh boeih te puhlah loh n'hlaeh saeh lamtah a thaphu te kholong loh poelyoe pah saeh.
11Let the creditor distrain all that he hath; and let strangers make spoil of his labour.
12Let there be none to extend kindness unto him; neither let there be any to be gracious unto his fatherless children.
13A hmailong kah cadilcahma te phae la om saeh lamtah a ming khaw a tloe la hmata bal saeh.
13Let his posterity be cut off; in the generation following let their name be blotted out.
14A napa rhoek kathaesainah te BOEIPA hmaiah poek saeh lamtah a manu kah tholhnah te hmata boel saeh.
14Let the iniquity of his fathers be brought to remembrance unto the LORD; and let not the sin of his mother be blotted out.
15Let them be before the LORD continually, that He may cut off the memory of them from the earth.
16Sitlohnah khueh ham poek pawt tih khodaeng lungma neh thinko aka paeng hlang te duek sak ham a hloem.
16Because that he remembered not to do kindness, but persecuted the poor and needy man, and the broken in heart he was ready to slay.
17Rhunkhuennah te a lungnah dongah amah tlak thil saeh. Yoethennah khuiah a naem pawt dongah a taeng lamkah vikvik lakhla saeh.
17Yea, he loved cursing, and it came unto him; and he delighted not in blessing, and it is far from him.
18Rhunkhuennah te khaw a himbai la bai saeh lamtah a kotak khuiah tui bangla, a rhuh khuiah khaw situi bangla kun pah saeh.
18He clothed himself also with cursing as with his raiment, and it is come into his inward parts like water, and like oil into his bones.
19Let it be unto him as the garment which he putteth on, and for the girdle wherewith he is girded continually.'
20Hekah he BOEIPA taeng lamkah kai aka khingkhoek rhoek neh ka hinglu he a thae la aka thui rhoek kah thaphu la om saeh.
20This would mine adversaries effect from the LORD, and they that speak evil against my soul.
21But Thou, O GOD the Lord, deal with me for Thy name's sake; because Thy mercy is good, deliver Thou me.
22Kai tah mangdaeng neh khodaeng la ka om tih ka lungbuei khaw ka kotak ah thiip coeng.
22For I am poor and needy, and my heart is wounded within me.
23Khokhawn a khuup vaengkah bangla ka khum tih kaisih bangla ka congpet.
23I am gone like the shadow when it lengtheneth; I am shaken off as the locust.
24Yaehnah dongah ka khuklu hlinghlawk tih ka pum dongkah ka tha khaw pim coeng.
24My knees totter through fasting; and my flesh is lean, and hath no fatness.
25Te vaengah kai he amih kah kokhahnah la ka om tih kai m'hmuh uh vaengah a lu a hinghuen uh.
25I am become also a taunt unto them; when they see me, they shake their head.
26BOEIPA ka Pathen aw kai n'bom lah. Namah kah sitlohnah vanbangla kai n'khang lah.
26Help me, O LORD my God; O save me according to Thy mercy;
27That they may know that this is Thy hand; that Thou, LORD, hast done it.
Tlai thil uh cakhaw yahpok uh saeh lamtah na sal loh a kohoe saeh.
28Let them curse, but bless Thou; when they arise, they shall be put to shame, but Thy servant shall rejoice.
29Kai aka khingkhoek rhoek te mingthae loh a vuei uh vetih amamih kah yahopohnah loh hnikul bangla cun uh ni.
29Mine adversaries shall be clothed with confusion, and shall put on their own shame as a robe.
30I will give great thanks unto the LORD with my mouth; yea, I will praise Him among the multitude;
31A hinglu aka boe sak lamloh khang ham khodaeng kah bantang ah a pai pah.
31Because He standeth at the right hand of the needy, to save him from them that judge his soul.
