Salmos 114
Bíblia Portuguesa Mundial (Brazilian Portuguese)
Douay-Rheims Bible, American Edition (1899)
1Quando Israel saiu do Egito, a casa de Jacó do meio de um povo de língua estrangeira,
1I have loved, because the Lord will hear the voice of my prayer.
2Judá tornou-se o seu santuário, Israel o seu domínio.
2Because he hath inclined his ear unto me: and in my days I will call upon him.
3O mar viu isso e fugiu. O Jordão retrocedeu.
3The sorrows of death have encompassed me: and the perils of hell have found me. I met with trouble and sorrow:
4Os montes saltaram como carneiros, as colinas como cordeiros.
4And I called upon the name of the Lord. O Lord, deliver my soul.
5O que houve, ó mar, para que você fugisse? E você, Jordão, para que retrocedesse?
5The Lord is merciful and just, and our God sheweth mercy.
6E vocês, montes, para que saltassem como carneiros? E vocês, colinas, como cordeiros?
6The Lord is the keeper of little ones: I was little and he delivered me.
7Trema, ó terra, na presença do Senhor, na presença do Deus de Jacó,
7Turn, O my soul, into thy rest: for the Lord hath been bountiful to thee.
8que transformou a rocha em um lago de água, a pederneira em uma fonte de águas.
8For he hath delivered my soul from death: my eyes from tears, my feet from falling.
