1Louvem o SENHOR! Louvem o SENHOR desde os céus! Louvem-no nas alturas!
1Praise ye the Lord from the heavens: praise ye him in the high places.
2Louvem-no, todos os seus anjos! Louvem-no, todo o seu exército!
2Praise ye him, all his angels: praise ye him, all his hosts.
3Louvem-no, sol e lua! Louvem-no, todas as estrelas brilhantes!
3Praise ye him, O sun and moon: praise him, all ye stars and light.
4Louvem-no, vocês, céus dos céus, e vocês, águas que estão acima dos céus.
4Praise him, ye heavens of heavens: and let all the waters that are above the heavens
5Que eles louvem o nome do SENHOR, pois ele ordenou, e foram criados.
5Praise the name of the Lord. For he spoke, and they were made: he commanded, and they were created.
6Ele também os estabeleceu para todo o sempre. Ele fez um decreto que não passará.
6He hath established them for ever, and for ages of ages: he hath made a decree, and it shall not pass away.
7Louvem o SENHOR desde a terra, vocês, grandes criaturas marinhas, e todas as profundezas,
7Praise the Lord from the earth, ye dragons, and all ye deeps:
8relâmpagos e granizo, neve e nuvens, ventos tempestuosos, que cumprem a sua palavra,
8Fire, hail, snow, ice, stormy winds which fulfill his word:
9montes e todas as colinas, árvores frutíferas e todos os cedros,
9Mountains and all hills, fruitful trees and all cedars:
10animais selvagens e todo o gado, pequenas criaturas e aves que voam,
10Beasts and all cattle: serpents and feathered fowls:
11reis da terra e todos os povos, príncipes e todos os juízes da terra,
11Kings of the earth and all people: princes and all judges of the earth:
12tanto rapazes como moças, velhos e crianças.
12Young men and maidens: let the old with the younger, praise the name of the Lord:
13Que eles louvem o nome do SENHOR, pois só o seu nome é exaltado. Sua glória está acima da terra e dos céus.
13For his name alone is exalted.
14Ele levantou o chifre do seu povo, o louvor de todos os seus santos, sim, dos filhos de Israel, um povo próximo a ele. Louvem o SENHOR!
14The praise of him is above heaven and earth: and he hath exalted the horn of his people. A hymn to all his saints: to the children of Israel, a people approaching to him. Alleluia.
