1Israel aka dawn loh hnatun lah. Boiva bangla Joseph aka hmaithawn tih cherubim aka ngol loh ha sae lah.
1Unto the end, for the winepresses, a psalm for Asaph himself.
2Ephraim, Benjamin neh Manasseh mikhmuh ah na thayung thamal te huel lamtah, kaimih kah khangnah ham halo lah.
2Rejoice to God our helper: sing aloud to the God of Jacob.
3Pathen aw kaimih nan lat tih, na maelhmai a sae daengah ni ka daem uh eh.
3Take a psalm, and bring hither the timbrel: the pleasant psaltery with the harp.
4Caempuei Pathen BOEIPA me hil nim, na pilnam kah thangthuinah te na khuu thil eh?
4Blow up the trumpet on the new moon, on the noted day of your solemnity.
5Amih te mikphi buh na cah tih baelpuei mikphi na tul.
5For it is a commandment in Israel, and a judgment to the God of Jacob.
6Ka imben rhoek ham olpungkacan la kaimih nan khueh tih ka thunkha rhoek loh n'tamdaeng uh.
6He ordained it for a testimony in Joseph, when he came out of the land of Egypt: he heard a tongue which he knew not.
7Caempuei Pathen aw kaimih nan lat tih na maelhmai a sae daengah ni ka daem uh eh.
7He removed his back from the burdens: his hands had served in baskets.
8Egypt lamkah nang khuen misur te namtom na haek phoeiah na phung.
8Thou calledst upon me in affliction, and I delivered thee: I heard thee in the secret place of tempest: I proved thee at the waters of contradiction.
9A mikhmuh ah hmuen na saelh pah tih a yung a hlak dongah khohmuen ah baetawt.
9Hear, O my people, and I will testify to thee: O Israel, if thou wilt hearken to me,
10A hlip loh tlang tom a dah tih a hlaeng loh lamphai thingnu a yam thil.
10There shall be no new god in thee: neither shalt thou adore a strange god.
11A pae loh tuitunli duela, a dawn long khaw tuiva duela a voeih.
11For I am the Lord thy God, who brought thee out of the land of Egypt: open thy mouth wide, and I will fill it.
12A vongtung te a ba ham nim na phae tih long kah aka pongpa boeih loh a bit uh?
12But my people heard not my voice: and Israel hearkened not to me.
13Duup lamkah okngal loh a thoe tih kohong kah satlung loh a luem thil.
13So I let them go according to the desires of their heart: they shall walk in their own inventions.
14Caempuei Pathen aw, ha mael laeh. Misur he vaan lamloh paelki lah, so lamtah hip lah.
14If my people had heard me: if Israel had walked in my ways:
15Na bantang kut neh a yung te na phung tih namah ham a ca na hlul sak.
15I should soon have humbled their enemies, and laid my hand on them that troubled them.
16Hmai neh a hoeh tih a vung. Na mikhmuh kah tluungnah dongah milh uh.
16The enemies of the Lord have lied to him: and their time shall be for ever.
17Na bantang hlang so neh namah ham na thoh hlang capa soah na kut tloeng lah.
17And he fed them with the fat of wheat, and filled them with honey out of the rock.
18Te daengah ni nang taeng lamkah ka balkhong uh pawt eh. Kaimih he nan hlun daengah ni na ming te kang khue uh eh.
