1شادمان می‌شدم چون به من می گفتند: «به خانه خداوند برویم.»
1I was glad when they said to me, “Let us go to the house of the LORD.”
2پایهای ما خواهد ایستاد، به اندرون دروازه های تو، ای اورشلیم!
2Our feet are standing in your gates, O Jerusalem.
3ای اورشلیم که بنا شده‌ای مثل شهری که تمام با هم پیوسته باشد،
3Jerusalem is built up as a city united together,
4که بدانجااسباط بالا می‌روند، یعنی اسباط یاه، تا شهادت باشد برای اسرائیل و تا نام یهوه را تسبیح بخوانند.
4where the tribes go up, the tribes of the LORD, as a testimony for Israel, to give thanks to the name of the LORD.
5زیرا که در آنجا کرسیهای داوری بر پاشده است، یعنی کرسیهای خاندان داود.
5For there the thrones of judgment stand, the thrones of the house of David.
6برای سلامتی اورشلیم مسالت کنید. آنانی که تو را دوست می‌دارند، خجسته حال خواهندشد.
6Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: “May those who love you prosper.
7سلامتی در باره های تو باشد، و رفاهیت درقصرهای تو.
7May there be peace within your walls, and prosperity inside your fortresses.”
8به‌خاطر برادران و یاران خویش، می‌گویم که سلامتی بر تو باد.
8For the sake of my brothers and friends, I will say, “Peace be within you.”
9به‌خاطرخانه یهوه خدای ما، سعادت تو را خواهم طلبید.
9For the sake of the house of the LORD our God, I will seek your prosperity.
