Psalmaro 121

Douay-Rheims Bible, American Edition (1899)
1Mi levas miajn okulojn al la montoj: De kie venas al mi helpo?
1I rejoiced at the things that were said to me: We shall go into the house of the Lord.
2Mia helpo venas de la Eternulo, Kiu kreis la ĉielon kaj la teron.
2Our feet were standing in thy courts, O Jerusalem.
3Li ne lasos vian piedon falpuŝiĝi; Via gardanto ne dormetas.
3Jerusalem, which is built as a city, which is compact together.
4Jen ne dormetas kaj ne dormas La gardanto de Izrael.
4For thither did the tribes go up, the tribes of the Lord: the testimony of Israel, to praise the name of the Lord.
5La Eternulo estas via gardanto; La Eternulo estas via ombro ĉe via dekstra mano.
5Because their seats have sat in judgment, seats upon the house of David.
6En la tago la suno vin ne frapos, Nek la luno en la nokto.
6Pray ye for the things that are for the peace of Jerusalem: and abundance for them that love thee.
7La Eternulo vin gardos de ĉia malbono, Li gardos vian animon.
7Let peace be in thy strength: and abundance in thy towers.
8La Eternulo gardos vian eliron kaj eniron, De nun kaj eterne.
8For the sake of my brethren, and of my neighbours, I spoke peace of thee.
