1I will extol thee, O God my king: and I will bless thy name for ever; yea, for ever and ever.
1خداوند که صخره من است، متبارک باد! که دستهای مرا به جنگ وانگشتهای مرا به حرب تعلیم داد!
2Every day I will bless thee: and I will praise thy name for ever; yea, for ever and ever.
2رحمت من اوست و ملجای من و قلعه بلند من و رهاننده من وسپر من و آنکه بر او توکل دارم، که قوم مرا در زیراطاعت من می‌دارد.
3Great is the Lord, and greatly to be praised: and of his greatness there is no end.
3ای خداوند، آدمی چیست که او را بشناسی؟ و پسر انسان که او را به حساب بیاوری؟
4Generation and generation shall praise thy works: and they shall declare thy power.
4انسان مثل نفسی است و روزهایش مثل سایه‌ای است که می‌گذرد.
5They shall speak of the magnificence of the glory of thy holiness: and shall tell thy wondrous works.
5ای خداوند آسمانهای خود را خم ساخته، فرود بیا. و کوهها را لمس کن تا دود شوند.
6And they shall speak of the might of thy terrible acts: and shall declare thy greatness.
6رعدرا جهنده ساخته، آنها را پراکنده ساز. تیرهای خود را بفرست و آنها را منهزم نما.
7They shall publish the memory of the abundance of thy sweetness: and shall rejoice in thy justice.
7دست خودرا از اعلی بفرست، و مرا رهانیده، از آبهای بسیارخلاصی ده، یعنی از دست پسران اجنبی.
8The Lord is gracious and merciful: patient and plenteous in mercy.
8که دهان ایشان به باطل سخن می‌گوید، و دست راست ایشان، دست دروغ است.
9The Lord is sweet to all: and his tender mercies are over all his works.
9ای خدا، تو راسرودی تازه می‌سرایم. با بربط ذات ده تار، تو راترنم خواهم نمود.
10Let all thy works, O lord, praise thee: and let thy saints bless thee.
10که پادشاهان را نجات می‌بخشی، و بنده خود داود را از شمشیر مهلک می‌رهانی.
11They shall speak of the glory of thy kingdom: and shall tell of thy power:
11مرا از دست اجنبیان برهان و خلاصی ده، که دهان ایشان به باطل سخن می‌گوید. و دست راست ایشان دست دروغ است.
12To make thy might known to the sons of men: and the glory of the magnificence of thy kingdom.
12تا پسران ما در جوانی خود نمو کرده، مثل نهالها باشند. ودختران ما مثل سنگهای زاویه تراشیده شده به مثال قصر.
13Thy kingdom is a kingdom of all ages: and thy dominion endureth throughout all generations. The Lord is faithful in all his words: and holy in all his works.
13و انبارهای ما پر شده، به انواع نعمت ریزان شوند. و گله های ما هزارها و کرورهادر صحراهای ما بزایند.
14The Lord lifteth up all that fall: and setteth up all that are cast down.
14و گاوان ما باربردارشوند و هیچ رخنه و خروج و ناله‌ای درکوچه های ما نباشد.
15The eyes of all hope in thee, O Lord: and thou givest them meat in due season.
15خوشابحال قومی که نصیب ایشان این است. خوشابحال آن قوم که یهوه خدای ایشان است.
16Thou openest thy hand, and fillest with blessing every living creature.
