1Blessed is the man that feareth the Lord: he shall delight exceedingly in his commandments.
1هللویاه! خداوند را به تمامی دل حمد خواهم گفت، در مجلس راستان و در جماعت.
2His seed shall be mighty upon earth: the generation of the righteous shall be blessed.
2کارهای خداوند عظیم است، و همگانی که به آنها رغبت دارند در آنهاتفتیش می‌کنند.
3Glory and wealth shall be in his house: and his justice remaineth for ever and ever.
3کار او جلال و کبریایی است وعدالت وی پایدار تا ابدالاباد.
4To the righteous a light is risen up in darkness: he is merciful, and compassionate and just.
4یادگاری برای کارهای عجیب خود ساخته است. خداوند کریم و رحیم است.
5Acceptable is the man that showeth mercy and lendeth: he shall order his words with judgment:
5ترسندگان خود را رزقی نیکوداده است. عهد خویش را به یاد خواهد داشت تاابدالاباد.
6Because he shall not be moved for ever.
6قوت اعمال خود را برای قوم خودبیان کرده است تا میراث امتها را بدیشان عطافرماید.
7The just shall be in everlasting remembrance: he shall not hear the evil hearing. His heart is ready to hope in the Lord:
7کارهای دستهایش راستی و انصاف است و جمیع فرایض وی امین.
8His heart is strengthened, he shall not be moved until he look over his enemies.
8آنها پایدار است تا ابدالاباد. در راستی و استقامت کرده شده.
9He hath distributed, he hath given to the poor: his justice remaineth for ever and ever: his horn shall be exalted in glory.
9فدیه‌ای برای قوم خود فرستاد و عهد خویش راتا ابد امر فرمود. نام او قدوس و مهیب است.
10The wicked shall see, and shall be angry, he shall gnash with his teeth and pine away: the desire of the wicked shall perish.
10ترس خداوند ابتدای حکمت است. همه عاملین آنها را خردمندی نیکو است. حمد اوپایدار است تا ابدالاباد.
